Beat me to it, but this here is a close second.
Here, have a .webm of that scene
>seeing best girl getting savaged
I mean, I know /a/ has shit taste but this might be a bit too much
This and when Reccoa went down like the little bitch she was. Literally threw my hands up in the air and said YES.
She deserved better than that. Still my favorite character from that show.
Only clip of it that I could find, but this.
>theme starts playing in the middle of a fight
Nothing more satisfying than this
>Slaps a evil god in the faces
>Gets covered in bitches in the next chapter
In case it isn't obvious, I am referring to PROMOTIONS
I love the way they fucking done this.
sounds like someone wishes he were her cousin
>Sit down. The dealer rolls twice.
Alternatively from Akagi
>Lel peace I'm out he's gonna play into my hand no matter what
As much as people shit on IBO (as is tradition to do to the new Gundam) there are more than a few satisfying moments. The little bloodsplats after Mika dino hammers a graze in 2nd duel is one of them.
Those final episodes of Zeta are fucking gold. Wish more characters died in other Gundam shows.
Let's meme up
One piece is a perpetually cascading waterfall of satisfying ass kickings.
Two that come to mind instantly are bellamy (first fight) and blueno
This part for sure. If she can't get pregnant, it would have all been for nothing.
That isn't the real dialogue but it isn't a confession. She basically goes over similar dialogue in relation to the MC being a chuuni. The "Why do you like evil characters more?" bit is straight out of the original.
Rickert is fucking based in those recent chapters.
>slaps a demigod like a bitch in his own city
>in front of all his demon generals
>walks away like it's nothing
>invents flamethrower over night
>fights off a trained assassin-turned demon without ever holding a sword
>shoots him down with a fucking bazooka
>flies off into the night on a goddamn pterodactyl
I couldn't have possibly been done any better.
At least post hi-res scans, goddamn nigga.
I always had a problem with that scene. Earlier in this season, only a few days before this happens, we see Kirito struggling as he's fighting his sister in a sparing match, because he's been recovering from being in a coma for 2 years. Yeah he's been awake for two months but his body is still probably weak, and he's still probably needs some more physical therapy to recover from being a fucking vegetable. Not only that but he's a hard core gamer and spends most of his time gaming, so even with kendo as a hobby he's likely not that physically fit.
You expect me to believe that a 16 year old borderline shut in who just woke up from a crippling two year coma without any proper hand to hand combat experience, (Kendo doesn't count because he doesn't have a weapon) could not only fend off a crazed, armed maniac, but also manage to beat the crap out of him and steal his knife away like a video game character? That could have been an interesting moment where, although he was a hero in a video game, Kirito was just a regular guy in the real world, and needed somebody else or the police, or hospital security at the VERY least save him. But nah we have to have him beat the shit out of the villain.
virtual reality gave him some experience in fighting, isn't that how the show explained it? At least that's what I remember when he practiced kendo with his cousin and she noted how dexterous he was.
Can we stop pretending to like this pairing? Sakura and Naruto built up a strong bond from the beginning of the series and lived through so many hardships, they deserved to be together. Meanwhile Hinata was just a background character thrown in for fanservice. Would you really choose the girl who is basically transparent, over the kind and intresting Sakura, who is basically a guard and doctor in one person, the perfect mother? Hinata didn't even had any fans, she started out as a joke character. Kishi only made her suddenly relevant because her rabid fans, who doesn't understand Naruto's complex character and why he needs Sakura, somehow tricked him. Kishi selled out, throwing out years of build up and development to please the retarded half of the fanbase. He is simply not fit anymore to write Naruto, and should have stepped down after the first few chapters. I'll rewrite the last few hundred chapters to fix his errors, and will post them. Naruto will once again be worthy of Sakura.
There's a difference in experiencing it in a game and being able to physically preform it in real life. Not only that, but again, his expertise was swords specifically. In the game, his physical capabilities are likely enhanced allowing him to perform such feats. I can sort of buy him having some instinctual knowledge on sword play after that. But his real body should be much, much weaker, especially after said coma. Even if he knows how to fight, it should be really easy to over power him. especially for a grown man.
didn't they justify it by saying something like the skills he learned in SAO transferred over very well to real life, and he only lost against his sister in kendo because she was still practicing for 2 years he was almost at full strength apparently
Don't want to seem like an edgelord here but this was the money shot to this whole damn show..
Here's another good one
The game intercepted all of his nerve signals, so the actions in the game were actions he was actually trying to perform. Those same signals are used in his real body too, hence the game's motions translating into a sort of muscle memory irl.
And yes, he had a few levels knives. Or at least throwing knives, but I figure regular ones would be a prerequisite.
I'm sad that I didn't get to see the reaction on /a/ after this episode aired.
I was so sure she'd survive. But no, it was probably the best revenge killing in any Gundam series.
>Onii sama looking down on the shitters.
>I hate how Mako, Nui and more obviously Ruse-chan were all used to save costs.
Well, I love it.
For some reason i hear battle music from eva with like sounds of crushing bones and angelic screams.
on a similar note
Horikoshi is really good at drawing powerful moments.
KKOW has tons
This was super satisfying. I'm certain I went all Reaction Guys when I read it.
I still prefer this part from Kaiji 2:
Watching this after all the cliffhangers we had to endure when this was airing truly felt like an endless ejaculation.
That was honestly the best episode in all of KLK, and I enjoyed the show overall. It just vividly reminded me of some fever dream nightmares I've had of going to school in the past
It's silly how much Spanish guitars can improved this whole show.
The bitch never liked Naruto and he told her on her face that she shouldn't give up on her true feelings. He knew she never liked him so he gave up and found himself a better girl. To say that they deserved to be together is a lie.
10/10 scene. Probably the best "killing the bad guy" scene of all time
Agreed. Don't think he could have handled it though, even though he probably could have gotten away with it, seeing how badly killing those Laughing Coffin jackwads in-game traumatized him.
That original is surprisingly close to the edited version.
Sugou is primarily a businessman, whenever he's not diving into VR himself. That at least puts him on par with Kirito. There's no indication however that he's ever actually played any of these games as an ordinary player, so he has nothing that could be called combat experience.
Sugou is also somewhat older than Kirito, not sure canonically by how much, but I'd say at least 5-10 years. That makes Kirito much more nimble than him, which is a major advantage in a knife fight.
It's not at all hard to believe.
Late to the thread but Kirito knew how to fight before SAO. He and his sister were trained by their grandfather in kendo until Kirito felt he had to get away from her. Then he became a shut in MMORPG'R which combined is why he was actually a good player in SAO.
He was not losing that sparring round with his sister, he pushed her with the combat experience gained over two years of constant sword fighting. Which she laughed at when pointin out "his weird stance" but he told her to go with it. In frustration of possibly losing she stopped pulling her practice style swings and went full force, which ultimately overpowered his weaker muscles and collapsed his guard.
Even if he was slower and weaker Kirito had an accumulated life time of training with various fighting techniques that included sword, fist, knife, etc. Sugou was way out of his league in terms of blade handling.
"Don't bring a knife to a fight if you don't know how to knife-fight."
they weren't made to save costs.
Even in the making of documentary, an animator brought one of the "hallelujah" scenes that he had keyed out to Imaishi, and Imaishi redrew the whole scene because the animator had made mako's poses and movements too traditional and fluid.
He trashed an animators work because it was too good. That'd be counter productive if money/time was a concern.
They've used the same stuff for Inou-Battle, Panty and stocking, and even Gurren Lagann. They're crude because they're gag characters/scenes. It's a style of visual comedy.
I would have been more content if she died when Ryuuko impaled her. Nui deserved a death full of regret and pain, which is far from what she got.
Everything about the ending was unsatisfying.
It wouldn't; a tractor isn't heavy enough to distribute enough psi through it's tires. It would probably kill a normal human to drive over their head like that, but it would just break their skull, rather than causing a bloodsplosion. I forget if vampires in that series were supposed to be a lot stronger than humans or not, but assuming they are, they would need a tank to cause that effect.
Aldnoah Zero was so mediocre i wondered why I even kept watching it. But this ending to the first season saved it from being pure shit.
Literally stood up and clapped as he gunned down the entire main cast.
>But this ending to the first season saved it from being pure shit.
Completely undone within the first episode of the second season.
At this point I truly understood how little I knew
>whenever a character gets a second wind and beats the shit out of the bad guys
I think I've never been as happy to see one's comeuppance as I was when I saw this when it aired
That sounds fucking hilarious. I'm not sure if my sides could have taken it.
Do you have a recording of it by any chance?
Also, nice digits to both of you.
>Do you have a recording of it by any chance?
It wouldn't have looked any good anyway. My stream looked like garbage because of a mix of shitty internet and JustinTV being shit in itself
What makes it even better is that two days after the show first aired in the US via Toonami, California was struck by a 4.0 earthquake.
TTGL may shake the heavens, but Kill la Kill's hype was truly earthshattering.
Rickert was pretty cool before, but he became infinitely more awesome from this.
So fucking satisfying when the bitch finally got what was coming.
Seras grinding Zorin's head down against the wall was just awesome.
He fucking destroyed her.
This show is everything good about porn without the sex.
When Roy Mustang incinerates Lust. This is a satisfying moment. Hell, anytime he incinerates anyone.
Meh. Still doesn't compare to pic related.
