Don't worry anon, I assure you we are getting a 2nd season.
Atleast I hope so
> Arcane spell caster
> Dependent on INT for spell power
> Joining Axis
> A cult that literally reduces INT
Who /buyfag/ here? What's a good
>you will never join axis cult and jihad in Aqua's name
I was a huge fan of the manga and ln before the anime aired. and i was NOT waiting for the anime; I was dreading the anime, convinced DEEN would fuck it up so badly we'd wish we never saw it.
I did not expect them to adapt it so well as to capture the atmosphere and comedy of the light novel without rewriting everything. Nor did I expect the warm spot in my heart for Megumin to grow into open infatuation.
Bravo DEEN. Bravo.
We don't need yet another saggy slut. The tits in this show are atrocious and only managed to reach some semblance of quality with that darkness bath scene.
It would have been better if the whole party was flat.
I'm still laughing. I've been laughing for 6 days.
Have you had your daily explosion, /a/?
I want to rub my dick in Megumin.
They do, but they mostly focusing on exposing Eris by telling people about the pads. Or try to get people to join via some dumb scheme. If they focus on fighting demons they wouldn't be so hated everywhere.
Sorry anon, but have you heard of our lord and savior Aqua? It is said for every 5 converts you make you'll gain one of her blessings!
Buy the BDs
It'll never happen. They'll just see the increased LN sales and they'll never make S2
I want to steal Megumin's friends!
megumin is sorta made for bullying
Every crimson semen demon were made for bullying
I want to
hold her close and whisper cute things in hear ear
I can do whatever I want in my dreams.
This episode was really good.
I specially liked the part where he told her to use the piss bottle.
I mean, what sort of MC does stuff like this anymore? Kazuma is the Hero we need.
Kazuma is a great man
They are lonely girls, desperate for dicks
DEEN was expecting it to flop so they lowered the cost risk by only planning 10 episodes.
deen expected it to be a colosal flop. they put zero into promotion, heck look at the PVs, they're shit.
So they were covering their backside by putting the minimal effort into it.
nobody expected this shit to go off like a fucking commie ICMB heading straight to DC
>no name director
>budget enough to buy a burger and 2 beers
but god is fair and good shit finds a way to get money.
Then we can mention KonoSuba and Mondai when the next 10 episode adaptation from Kadokawa comes out!
Why does japan hate mahou shoujo.
I know almost all of them are chuuni except Yunyun, but does komekko ever show her chuuni side? She looks more like a psychopath from her actions and even make a great demon her subordinate.
She did it when she ks'ed Kazuma
>“I am Komekko! The number one demonic sister in the Crimson Magic! The one who is stronger than a demon king army boss!”
That's why she is the wotst scum
Well they're still new but they voiced some very hyped aniplex anime before. Out of all the main cast, only Megumin has a noob VA.
>No name director
Do people even give a shit about director? Aniplex the hype generator even brought Ei Aoki for Aldnoah Zero even though he's fucking shit.
Like the majority of anime?
Directors are really inconsistent. Maybe a few have a really distinct style, but how many times have you watched a show where you can see a singular artist's vision for whatever? There's even individual episode directors and individual episode animation directors to further blur the lines.
I think a bunch of my favorite shows have directors that went on to make absolute crap.
I need doujins of the bath scene
she NEEDS to be bullied
>One Trick Pony Super Caster
>Implying she isn't a Sorcerer
Don't worry. I'll probably keep shitposting about Megumin for years to come. We'll all be back when Konosuba inevitably gets renewed
I think she'll last since she hits all the right things for /a/ at least. I mean I still see Hyouka stuff occasionally and the show was dull as hell.
If anything, Hinazuki Kayo is going to get dropped to hell after this Thursday when a special certain something happens/
but theyre so cute together, alone theyre lackluster as fuck but with each other theyre perfect
>tfw just discovered this show the other day
>tfw it's almost over and I missed most of the threads
do you know how fucking dull hyouka wouldve been had Mayaka been the main girl?
Chitanda was perfect as the main girl and youre just a dick
>Megumin is gonna get dropped fast. She will not stand past a month.
nah. megumin hit all the right notes for /a/; perflat, super cute and bullyable, hype explosions, total bro, silly chuuni, great & cute va. she'll hang around.
I want to fill her butt with my semen.
Oh yeah I just remembered there were two I left out:
>Sword (or Short Sword, I'm not sure)
Completely unrelated to the thread, but who's that one anime girl that /a/ used to call fat even though she wasn't fat?
She was a highschool girl who liked eating (she wasn't actually fat) and she had brown hair and brown eyes.
Darkness will feed them for her. Then, when the children are all grown up, they will push her down and say things like
>i used to suck on these tits as a kid. Let me try again
>hey darkness, you fed me your milk, now its time to feed you mine.
KAZUMA! KAZUMA! DAISUKI!
Kazuma's really smart about what he learns.
He doesn't have the capacity for crazy shit, and his overall abilities are balanced for survival and combat, where as everyone else is minmax and suffering some deficit in other areas.
Darkness has low HIT and high HP.
Aqua has low INT and LUK but MP out the ass.
Megumin has low MP and CON but MAG.POW. unlike no one before her.
Kazuma ain't lacking shit but a balanced party.
The fate of every chuuni is to be bullied.
You're missing a couple, here's what I've come up with-
darkness could benefit from this skill
why didn't kazuma use this against the kobolds
And I think that's roughly the order in which he learned those skills.
If it's Vancian, then she REALLY fucked up her sheet.
She can only cast one spell, it's high level, and she has no slot between cantrips and her only spell.
Darkness has really high strength apparently because that's what gives you HP, but she has no weapon skills.
Aqua's stats are all incredibly high (possibly even maximum) except intelligence and luck.
Megumin does have incredibly high mana, that's basically her racial ability. That being said Explosion is incredibly mana consuming which is why it's considered a retardedly useless spell.
>Megumin's once a day thing makes me think of vancian magic.
It's definitely not Vancian, Konosuba uses mana. That being said Overlord used mana rather than Vancian magic as well which I found a bit surprising considering how heavily it borrowed from DnD.
>She doesn't have room to learn basic fireball or firebolt spells?
she probably used up her skill points for party tricks.
kazuma already mentioned it on ep 3, it takes up a lot of skill points to learn one.
The actual magic system in Fantastraya seems rather silly from what we know.
You have three categories of magic: Basic Magic, Intermediate Magic and Advanced Magic. Learning any of these categories seems to give you access to all spells in it so they look like a package deal.
Just look at Kazuma for example, he got Freeze, Tinder, Create Water, Create Dirt and Gust just for learning Basic Magic---
...speaking of which has that faggot used Gust to flip skirts yet? Because I don't remember him doing it, but seems like a must.
Then you have stand alone-spells like the Explosion trio which are Blast, Detonate and Explosion that have to be learned individually. Just for reference Advanced Magic costs 30 skill points while Explosion is 50 so it's an incredibly shitty deal.
Not in base rulesets, but I've always run a homebrew where at the beginning of the day, when you prep, you can trade up two spell-slots of Spell Level X for one slot of X+1. Every time you do this, up the casting time.
So, if you were casting Level 9 explosion, you'd need the equivalent of over 1024 Level 1 spell slots and it would take over 512 rounds to fully cast if prepared this way. That's nearly an in-game hour.
Overlord has a mix of Vancian and mana in that Epic spells can only be used once every [x] hours and don't cost mana but normal spells cost mana
Probably so people didn't fight bosses at 11:50 PM and get twice the spell usage or some shit.
If Megumin didn't have bullshit MP she couldn't even imagine casting Explosion, even Wiz the archmage can't cast it more than once.
I'm going to impregnate every chuuni in that village.
I'm fairly sure he didn't learn swordsmanship until at least volume 4 or so.
Don't remember archery or construct explicitly being mentioned, but the former makes sense. Not sure if the latter was even an actual skill.
Did he even learn escape and if so, when? I think only Chris had that skill
when they raided the royal palace in the 6th volume.
>fight bosses at 11:50 PM and get twice the spell usage
I may remember wrong, but I don't think that's how Vancian magic works. You need to actually rest for your spells to replenish after you've memorized them, they don't just come back automatically every day.
Swordsmanship had to be the first skill he learned, no way a 16 year old hikkineet could kill a giant frog otherwise. And it's the reason Darkness can't hit anything because she never put the single skillpoint into it, opting instead to increase her resistances and tanking skills.
Yeah but like, what does 'resting' mean in an non-TTRPG setting?
Somehow I don't have a problem with ammo, just consumables in RPGs.
I don't even know why I hoard them, there's an obvious point of obsolescence when 100 MP is a drop in the infinite ocean that is your 9000 max MP pool with spells that cost five times a single ether. Suppose that's why it's irrational behavior.
Anyway, to bring this back into Konosuba, what's up with the RPG Maker game they're including? I think those generic RTP sound effects are burned into my brain forever.
Hearing the jingle at an inn.
Or in stupid games, sitting down for ten seconds to replenish your entire party and all of your overpowered spells between every encounter. Looking at you, NWN2.
Yeah, it's usually rest for 8 hours or something in video game representations, since there's no clean break like tabletop sessions.
Also I looked up where Kazuma learned the skill Escape, Vol. 5 Chapter 1-
>After leaving Alcanretia, we walked along a smooth road towards the Home of the Crimson Magic.
>To be frank, camping in a place full of dangerous monsters sounded scary.
>I hoped to close the distance as much as possible during the day.
>“Don’t worry, leave it to me. Didn’t I defeat some mob monsters in the previous journey? I raised a level back then. With the excess skill point, I learned the rogue skill ‘escape’. With this, I can run away at any time.”
>“Hey, isn’t that skill only effective for Kazuma alone? Do you mean you will escape by yourself if you detect any enemies?”
>I ignored Aqua who raised a sensitive topic.
Right in the feels. Going to buy me some LN's and learn kanji or some shit.
But OL is set an MMORPG (originally). I remember there was this one way of thinking where you'd have a 1-day cooldown on every spell, but it'd be multi-use so you'd have, instead of Fireball with a 500 MP cost and 4 second cooldown, Fireball I / II / III / IV each with a one-day cooldown.
>he doesn't know Ako from KissxSis
>in real life
Yeah but that's why he left, joke's on you.
Oh, I don't know anything about Overlord.
Cooldowns are a very MMO solution to the whole deal though. Although I do remember some D&D MMO based on like 3rd Edition changing out the Vancian magic system for mana for simplicity.
>Yeah but like, what does 'resting' mean in an non-TTRPG setting?
I would assume it's something like sit down for a few minutes and wait for your spells and health to replenish. That being said here is nothing Vancian about the spells in Overlord though, Epic spells just had ridiculously long cooldowns so I don't think they had an actual resting mechanic.
He didn't even have any skillpoints at first level and when he leveled up the first skills he learned were thieving skills from Chris. I'm pretty sure he just learned the sword skill in one of the later volumes, but I could be off on that. As for killing frogs: those things are huge, he probably just stabbed them in the eye while they were eating Aqua or something. We don't really have a whole lot of insight into the level system of Konosuba so we can only make assumptions based on vague mentions an clues.
They're a pretty shit solution desu, although I guess DnD has its own sort of cooldown since you can only cast 1 (maybe 2 if you take that feat) spells every round, whatever a round is (was it 6 seconds or 5?)
IIRC even the pen & paper systems had spell points (which basically worked like mana for all intents and purposes) as an alternative to spell memorization. I know for a fact 5th edition has this and I think 3rd edition might have as well, but I'm not too familiar with that edition outside of video games.
just make sure to drop it before the third chick joins the harem because then it just turns into waterworks
m8 I'm caught up in the manga right now
holy shit fuck piss, even the sensei is fine because I have an oneechan fetish but piss is literally a postergirl for worthless cowtits
How can a Lich be this cute?
I dropped it a few years back because of the piss bullshit.
Have they fucked yet?
I didn't mind the
pissimplications in this show though.
No, no one has fucked anything although the MC has sucked a lotta nipples.
Also, he broke up with sensei and piss is apparently the no. 1 contender right now esp. since the author has a piss fetish
Really digging the new character designs. Feels like a JRPG. You can tell whoever is in charge really cares for this adaption.
Okay I finally figured out the swordsmanship shit that's been bugging me, it's all in Vol. 1 chapter 2-
in regards to Darkness being shit
>She put all her skill points into defensive skills, so normal skills learned by vanguards such as ‘2-hand sword’ or skills that raised her proficiency with weapons were ignored
and later on
>My skill points were 2.
>I looked for the wizard and swordsman from another party I met during the cabbage hunt, and asked them to teach me ‘One-handed sword’ and ‘Basic Spells’ skill.
>Each skill cost a point.
>One handed skill raised proficiency with one handed sword.
>My swordsmanship is now on par with normal people.
And then I also found Kazuma learned 2 other skills from Chris that I forgot about, Detect Traps and Disarm Traps mentioned in Vol. 2 chapter 2
>"Chris said she was really busy. She said the senpai who took care of her in the past was pushing all sorts of troublesome matters to her. To handle these problems, she didn’t plan to come back. But she taught me detect traps and disarm traps which are necessary for dungeon exploration. Chris said the type of monsters in dungeons won’t change because of the seasons. That’s why I thought of going into one and giving it a try.”
>she's basically an irrelevant background character for some jokes about piss and misunderstanding
>some kind of actual threat for some contrived reason regarding keeping sensei's job secure
>protag's dad gives the complete thumbs up to his son not only fucking his sisters, but also his teacher
>he hasn't fucked anyone yet
Him and Kazuma need to step their game up, goddamn.
He still is a spellsword with the utility skills usually dumped onto the rogue / assassin character. His fighting style is really a dirty-as-fuck spellsword, although Drain Touch is horrendously overpowered compared to everything else he has.
His party is unbalanced -
Darkness - Tank
Megumin - Paper-thin nuker
Aqua - Healslut, archcleric
Kazuma - literally everything else
Well, he's got a sword and he's got magic, so it's all good. Multiclassing, baby.
I always loved Fighter/Mage/Thief as a kid. You could do everything, just not at the same time, and you couldn't be good at any of it.
>not being good at everything
>not wanting to be a level bazillion modded skyrim character who can spam Archetype Earth mode forever and telespam
>not wanting to get raped by bandits as a literal goddess walking the earth
Nah man, rogue skills are just a dime a dozen. If you reverted all the rogue skills he's learned so far back into skillpoints he probably still wouldn't have enough to learn even Intermediate Spells. What Kazuma needs is to go to the Crimson Magician village and steal some skill potions from them as the masked thief. Those chuuni fuckers hand them out like candy to children. And if he gets caught they won't even be mad because the masked thief is so cool.
HELP, i need to get deep on this awesome history, how do i start?
im watching the anime, and looked for the manga (its 8 episodes already on mangapanda)
whats next from here? please /a/nons
TES has garbage RPG mechanics anyway so you alway send up being good at everything. Not that you need to be because you can be effective even without the skill points/perks.
Spot on with the rape part though, anything else is playing the game wrong.
Too bad there is enough left for like an OVA at max. The manga finished a while ago I think.
c3-bu, GJ-bu, sabagebu, YYS, amagi brilliant park, d-frag, hataraku maou-sama, inferno cop.
>tank is also expect to hurt things
No it isn't, tanks aren't actually expected to do damage, since that would make them a tank / off-DPS. Darkness is a tank in the truest sense besides apparently lacking taunt skills, which completely wrecks her effectiveness.
It's actually good, because invis + backstab + tankiness all works out pretty well, and you get invis after surprisingly few levels. At higher levels, you can use magical weapons and armour to fight, and thief's backstab is always ridiculously overpowered.
Raw fighters are still the easiest to learn, but F/M/T has way more potential than it should. Dual F/M, F/T are also great.
You can't run in front of stealthed enemies or intangible enemies, and she's vulnerable to roots and binds or even just slows and general status effects, especially ones that bypass armor and mitigations and just deal percentage damage to HP.
Basically, Kazuma is doing a real good job of holding his party together but he's also never actually faced against a competent party.
Aqua putting a portable hole in a bag of holding when
Darkness has at least one taunting skill-
>“My skills are centered around ‘Physical Defense’, ‘Magical Resistance’ and ‘Abnormal Status Resistance’. I have a skill called ‘Bait’, used to taunt the enemy.”
The reason Kazuma gets killed is because he always runs outside of the tank's protection.
Sounds like a single-target taunt though.
Also, what's the point of a crusader if she doesn't have any healing or ward skills? I'd expect her to have something like Circle of Turn Undead or at least Spirit Shield.
I remember when I brought my brother to play DnD with my group once
We had to retcon the session because he put portable holes in a Large Bag of Holding and killed everyone instantly
>I have a skill called ‘Bait’
Wait a second...
Are you trying to fool me?
>tfw as a fa/tg/uy and MMO player I realize the pain Kazuma is in
Kazuma was an avid MMO player and Darkness, Megumin, and Aqua are like the scrubbiest of pub raid scrubs or the most incompetent of party members.
>Large Bag of Holding
Aren't Bag of Holdings full of infinite space anyways? What would you need a "large" bag of holding for then?
Volume 1 Chapter 3. Look it up.
>shit quality gif of shit quality kissanime stream
It doesn't really make a fucking difference when retarded faggots like you keep making threads after threads even after the anime has ended.
No, they have a limit to how big the insides are and how heavy the shit they can hold is.
The rift to the Astral plane that gets opened is always a ten-foot (3m) sphere though.
>decide that since Konosuba is ending soon I'm going to pick up every single anime I haven't this season
>watch Divine Gate
What is this edgy shit? I know this is the wrong thread but seriously
How did DEEN make an anime that's top 2-3 in the entire season?
Aqua being bullied is cute.
Aqua bullying others is cute.
Aqua broken in a cage is cute.
Aqua in her pajamas.
Aqua crying is cute.
Aqua being happy is cute.
Aqua being determined is cute.
Aqua wanting to be pampered in cute.
Aqua is cute.
As you guy speak about this world mechanic, let's talk about mechanic of magic in this Fantasy Australia a little bit more.
In this World, everyone have mp. However if the spell cost more mp than that person capacity, it will also consume some of the caster hp.
In case of Megumin, it's implied that she fee "high" after the sudden drain of hp/mp of explosion spell. So she is not love explosion, she is addicted to it.
And did you know that spell in this World could also fail?
According to LN. the higher level of spell the more chance to fail. If it fail, the caster will lose control and cast it on him/herself instead. That's why most caster will have spell-stone for use in emergency situation. When they sense that the spell will fail, they will stop it and use the one that stored in spell stone instead.
And yes, Megumin don't carry something like that (it's expensive.). Good news is her explosion have incredibly higher success rate than normal caster (98% compare to 80% of normal person). She fail once in drama cd... and it make whole party (except Aqua who shelter herself in deep water) plus Yunyun, Wiz and Katsuragi paralyze for a period.
Nothing except Succubus shop is nice in Fantasy Australia.
This hurta anon, this hurts so much.
Oh man, I didn't know that Megumin's VA was a cutie pie. Kind of looks like her too.
The last episode will be a cliffhanger with Kazuma being called in for treason after megumin obliterates the mobile fortress after kazuma saps aqua's mana and gives it to megumin. Darkness does nothing but stand still. Aqua a shit Wiz makes Megumins explosions look like childsplay and it pisses off megumin. Season 2 never.
Have a horse dick from a grand old series of threads.
>use spoiler tags to poeple that dont want to be spoiled dont have to be
>you come in and ignore the spoiler tags
You are literally the worst kind of person, you are twelve kinds of terrible, if you asked me for help while struggling to swim in a river I would call you a faggot and jab you with a stick.
She also knows like a hundred extra spells despite her Explosion being stronger than Megumin's (i.e. even more skill points in it than Megumin)
J-jab me instead anon
I wish we got more of her, The time with her was too short.
>No name director
No name director? He's an ex-shaft employee and also directed Kore wa zombie, second season of School rumble and Tokyo Ravens. If anything, he's the main reason why the anime has been so good.
>Do people even give a shit about director? Aniplex the hype generator even brought Ei Aoki for Aldnoah Zero even though he's fucking shit.
Aldnoah zero's problem was the script. Not the directing itself.
I wonder what kind of ending they are going to use.
A dumb punch line, a cliffhanger, a normal ending theme song is all I want. That's the best way they could tease a S2.
Did you read the Hans volume? Hans is another Demon boss and a slime that only needs to touch you to 100% KO your ass, and she just fucking obliterates him.
Not to mention the 100% physical mitigation for liches remains a thing in Fantasy Australia.
>Vote for Wiz in that poll in the hope that she'll get a spin-off
>Megumin win again.
Fuck, I like her, but really japs? You gonna vote for someone that already have a spinoff? Greedy motherfucker.
I hope the second place get the spinoff instead.
>Wiz is powerful as fuck
>Aqua easily bullies her
Aqua-sama is amazing
I really just don't like aqua. if I were in kazumas place I would lay a verbal smackdown on aqua, the likes of which would become the stuff of legends that parents tell their kids to scare them into eating their vegetables. And then when she tries to validate herself I would actually smack her, open palm, against her cheek, and tell her to stop being a piece of shit or she'll be stuck in that world forever. Aqua is fine when she's being normal, but the second she remembers that shes special she goes full autist.
>Strike the Senpai 2.
One day man...one day.
Being a goddess is no excuse for being a shit.
Yeah, she thought she knew best right up until alligators happened. She's old, shes not smart. Age does not get respect, age in reference to common expiration age is. She's literally a retarded kid with magic.
Everyone can be rehabilitated with enough time. I did an experiment on my ex one time, I called her fat every single day, multiple times per day. It took two months of this before she suddenly exploded and gained 70lbs. It's cruel, but its proof that everyone can be fixed or ruined, its all a matter of how long it takes, and even if you only fix aqua for as long as you have to deal with her, its all good.
To be honest, she's absolutely fucking ancient.
If we presume she's '16 years old' by Heaven's count (1 hour in Heaven = 1 month in Japan, according to her), then she's 10k+ years old on earth (1 year in Heaven is 720 for Earth assuming 30-day months).
She is literally older than settled human civilization, Sumerians, the first Egyptians and the legendary Xia dynasty were during her childhood, ROMA INVICTA is a relatively recent memory, and the fall of Constantinople was less than a year ago. She literally does not care what a human says, in her eyes you live for only slightly more than a month.
>anyone can be fixed
And you think that slapping her across the face is the way to do that? You, who will live in her memory as an insignificant nobody bully who was a shit to her for a month or so? The Demon King has to die for her to go back to heaven but honestly I don't see why she couldn't kill him herself. Even if she couldn't, you yelling at her is only going to make her more entrenched in her ways.
t b h if you want to change her in the time you have, Kazuma's way is probably best - putting up with her shit but also telling her she's being an idiot and setting a hard line when she's really gone too far.
Simply roaring at her, blackmailing her, and hitting her isn't going to make her bend.
There are people who say that they met a person for a short time but during that time they influenced them greatly, but it's almost never an abusive person.
Will Darkness ever get EXPERIENCED?
Are you being edgy right now?
>you have no idea how women work anon
>my pimp slap put all the bitches in their place!
>women will obey if you smash them hard enough :DDD
Have you watched too many movies or read too many doujins?
>Abuse works great if done right
Yeah, over the course of years if the girl is totally dependent on you and has the right mix of clingy and submissive. Plus, are you saying that you know just how to abuse a girl to make it work 100% of the time?
OT God is a bipolar autist, NT God is at least somewhat more reasonable.
Name a single actually good god in old religions.
M8, it don't work if said girl could beat your ass black and blue and is nigh immune to damage herself from your level 1 ass.
She can also heal herself to high heaven and probably debuff you into the ground.
60% of those legends start with '[x], son of Zeus and a random,' or 'One day [x] maiden was walking down the road and Zeus in the form of a [y] fucked her'.
Loki was Ebin Trole: The God, and he was horrible if you were the target of his pranks. I don't remember him ever having a goal in his actions, it was always for immediate asspain.
Don't remind me of how every Hollywood ever portrays him as fucking Satan instead of a reasonably if gloomy dude who is also the most loaded of all the gods.
>Hephaestus is a cuck
When you're married to the goddess of taking penis in every hole including ones that don't exist, it's unavoidable.
I think I remember her doing some shit but I can't remember
Was she the one who turned Medusa into a monster for daring to get raped in her temple?
Hephaestus iirc did all sorts of things to Aphro and her 'friends' with his inventions to get back at them.
>Was she the one who turned Medusa into a monster for daring to get raped in her temple?
>Hephaestus iirc did all sorts of things to Aphro and her 'friends' with his inventions to get back at them.
No I know it's justified, I'm saying that he wasn't a complete cuck
and stopping Aphrodite would probably have caused some withdrawal symptoms or something for not being able to take a billion dicks per day
>Literally the only thing I didn't drop this season is ending.
The trick is to "forget it" until you fall enough chapters behind and don't care enough to catch up.
I recommend starting with "I'll save that one for later" or "I have more important things to do at the moment."
You also have to start hiding/ignoring discussion threads to avoid spoilers and to have less stuff reminding you that it exists.
Again, strategic-level warfare has nothing at all to do with personal combat.
Ares would probably be pretty fucking pissed if his child or just a person in his temple in general got the snot beaten out of him, but Athena should only care if A. Medusa fell for a stupid trick (Athena's goddess of Wisdom too) or B. Medusa was a strategist and got fucking pounded by an enemy strategist
I'm pretty sure we had about all the big Gods and most of the well known stories in school.
There's also a lot stories available here that references the Edda sagas.
I don't think most people know what it means.
We have a lot of Swedish TV shows, Swedish crime novels and some Swedish music on the radio, but I don't think most people don't really care what's happening on the other side of the border.
She actually used the ability against the hydra, though it seems that the skill may only draw attention to her rather than force the opponent to attack her alone (which is why Kazuma still had to sneak to the hydra).
I don't think I will ever be able to look at a picture of a water molecule again without seeing Aqua's goofy face.
>Explosion takes more mp than Megumin has
>it takes the rest from her hp
>that hp is equal to the damage taken from a series of barefisted punches to her belly
>that damage would normally make her womb convulse, turning the pain into sexual pleasure
>tfw Megumin is a filthy harapan junkie
You just have to believe, anon.
And if we don't get a season 2 we'll know you didn't believe hard enough, and it'll be all your fault for being a fucking faggot, so get to believing.
I must say that I am quite impressed. I absolutely hated the premise of the show and expected it to be generic and gimmicky.
It is a bit gimmicky, but it is self aware of its gimmicks. It is certainly less generic than most and does not take itself seriously except where it really matters.
The animation is well-distributed and so far the whole thing is well animated. The walking parts look like walking, the fights look like fights.
They did well distributing the budget.
I adore all of the characters in spite of their individual flaws.
MC is mean and judgmental, but he doesn't abandon his friends when they are in trouble.
Akward is dumb, but her heart is in the right place... sometimes.
Moomin is stubborn, but is aware of her flaws and lovable throughout.
Crudevader can't hit anything, but she contributes extremely well as a tank and absorbs aggro like a sponge as she tries to resist the depraved sadistic nature of her enemies and loves every second of it.
The side characters are nice, too.
I am glad I decided to watch it. It is great for unwinding. It certainly help the MC isn't a gary stu either.
Crusader is my favorite. If I were a wizard in a dark tower, I would subjugate her party and release them unharmed. I would hold her and only her hostage for a day or two and let them gather a modest ransom to get her back, all the while punishing her tenderly and explaining to her that it is impolite to raid towers of wizards. She would resist, of course, and I wouldn't be able to break her. Her party would come back time and time again to try and defeat me, but they would fail again and again, and I would be patient.
yes... I wouldn't mind being a villain then.
>you'll never be Funifura's otouto even though you are three times older
>she'll never wash your body like a dependent older sister
>you'll never see her blush due to your erect cock that is bigger than her forearm
It made me realize that I don't hate the premise, I hate what all the other terrible shows/manga/LNs are doing with the premise. It has a lot of fun poking at all the cliches. But at the same time, it doesn't get bogged down, so instead of being a striaght parody which could get tiresome, it's trying to have a legit setting with real characters. Lovely show. Absolutely lovely.
She needs some kind of item that increases her threshold for casting spells.
Gifting has very strong characters. One of the major things I enjoy is that the characters have flaws that definitely get thrm in trouble, but they all remain likable in spite of them. They aren't one note and one gimmick characters and they have a great sense of camaraderie that doesn't involve chasing dick.
