Firstly Ban never was the King in the first place, since the tree is the one who chooses the king. Not some no-name faires.
Secondly if it is like I said it doesn't matter if Ban was actual king or not. King wouldn't loss his powers, since Gloxinia has his powers right now too.

I wonder if this second arc will be as long as the first one, or roughly 100 chapters. It seems to me like this is taking longer. It's been 62 chapters and only 2 of the commandments have been dealt with, though Merascylla at least is probably still alive, while 2 more are currently waiting for their battles. Unless Nakaba rushes things this is going to take quite a while.

I hope that the end of the commandment arc will give some insight into Meliodas's backstory and character. I find it odd how he was just chilling in his bar in the beginning even though he had full knowledge of the commandments and knew that something shady had happened in Liones 10 years prior. He had also briefly met Liz's reincarnation back then and was already friends with Hawk at the time.
