I enjoyed every episode, it had zero pretension and was never a chore to watch.

People who think Umaru is "annoying" or "a bitch" have been deluded by other anime. This is the only show that captures what it's like to actually have siblings. Their annoying and loud and lazy and smelly and huge pains in ass.

But they're still cute and you love them by default, so none of that stuff matters. I like this show because it feels like a real brother-sister relationship, and Umaru does improve over the course of the show.
