It could have saved anime, but they fucked it up big time.

I guess the source material is ultimately responsible, but it's still a huge disappointment how quickly all that potential went to waste.

It was great.

No qualms about intimacy, no pretending "fucking around doing irrelevant shit for 12 episodes and then a confession" is development unlike so many half-baked anime trying to sell romance. Just two girls that love each other and finding out little things about each other like their likes and dislikes, or their boundaries, or just doing fun things together.

Every time Yuu moaned or groaned Haruka's name my dick got rock hard.

The boring side characters got way too much screen time. Hell, it should have been solely about Haruka and Yuu and also told the story of how they discovered each other's gayness and got together.

It just lacked romance, failed to get me attached to the characters and gave them too little development.

It was extremely satisfying in the ocean of romance anime that never has any conclusions and just constant bait. Sakura Trick was straight to the point (no pun intended), no bullshit.
I'm so tired of kokuhakus during fireworks, and not even handholding at the end of an obvious romance anime. Sakura Trick was really refreshing.

Also I like the art style and animation a lot, actually what made me pick it up. They did Shaft, but good.

You've basically seen everything after you've seen episode 1, unless you really want to watch Yuu's boring sister get way too much screen time for the rest of the show.

Could have been great if they took out the shitty love triangle thing, and the strange unresolved side romance with the big girl and the small girl. But for some reason I liked Yuzu and Kaede a lot.

I was fully & freely loving it until the final episode. Unless I misunderstood it, Haruka was mentally retarded all along and didn't understand she might be having a gay relationship because she thinks Yuu is just a special friend. That retroactively ruins everything.
