I enjoyed the anime. Everything felt out of context and dystopian at the beginning leading to one bizarre surprise after the other. Gantz was good at creating tension and making the viewer feel uncomfortable or horrified at the thought of living through its scenarios. The show also had good comedic timing throughout made interesting use of weird Japanese techno.

Would recommend watching baked. Never will forget Kurono's thinking his heroic monologue, when cornered by green onion alien, only to ditch Kishimoto with this optimistic grin on his face.
