Kinmoza is just a perfect SoL, whilst Caffeine OD: The Anime is calculated, thoroughly planned, and objectively better. However, it's still beaten by Kinmoza, since Kinmoza can feel the emptiest void of one's soul, which makes it a perfect SoL.

When Kinmoza S2 arrived, the writer made it clear that she is ready to take risk by making the girls cross the boundary of friendship to actual relationship.
Usagi on the otherhand was still fiddling its fingers right up to the end. Shit may have sold better but when was the last time that financial success became a basis of a good and influencial show?

Kinmoza was never interested in competing with anyone. She carved her own tale.
Basically the difference between a sister who overvalues the worth of monotonous academics and another who believes that if she were to achieve something, she has to achieve it while having fun

Whatever Yui Hara said when Kinmoza S2 arrived doesn't matter since it didn't end up in S2 anyway. What was even the point of Kinmoza S2? There were no character arcs or anything. The final episode did nothing. In Gochiusa every season had a big character arc, planned together with the author. That's why it feels more cohesive.

Anon, S2's final arc showed Shino and Alice litterally getting insane over the fact that they are so far away from each other.
Gochiusa's entire run showed no interest in taking risks.

Ayaya and Karen carry the entire show together.

All the Usagis carry the show equally together.

The Mosaics are still kinda cute, though.

Imho, Gochiusa S1 was cute but not as entertaining as Kinmoza/YuruYuri at the time.
But last year it stepped things up considerably with S2, while the formers got good but ultimately uneventful sequels.

So now it's right up there with them if you take the whole series into account.

For some reason I couldn't get into Kinmosa and dropped S1 very early. Maybe it was too hyper for me. Maybe I should give it another chance, because I think Yuru Yuri is great and GochiUsa is probably one of my all time favorite shows.
