A thought just ocurred, to me te author based all the worlds in Overlord after table top rpg's: Ainz old world is cyberpunk/shadowrun, Yggdrasil is Planescape and the NW is obviously D&D.

In the past . there was a trible of Dark elf in Great Forest of Job and they was driven out by Zytl Q's . What happen to them after that is a mystery (probably they were enslaved by human) BUT what if they meet AKEMI and being led by her after that?

My theory : Hamsuke and Zytl Q's are not locals "NWers" . They both came to New World 200 year ago (EvilEyes has confirmed that 200 years ago when she passed the Great Forest of Tob she didn't meet or hear anything about Hamsuke)

Basically, The dark elves have to leave the forest, but to where ? Great Forest of Tob was surrounded by the Human country's and most of them have a hostile attitude againt Demi-human .So either they was captured and enslaved or went to a different region

But in the novel, the adventurer guy (who later was turned into a lich) confirmed that people didn't known what had happened to that tribe and most still believe that they still live deep in the forest
