Does Touma even really like Misaka?
How will Misaka react
when he gets a boyfriend?
I don't know, you tell me anon.
>“It was because Misaka was with me that I made it this far. She kept my trembling legs moving, supported my heart as the pressure bore down on it, and kept me in a position to make jokes. With Index, things may have been too focused on magic. With Othinus, it would have been exclusively about Magic Gods and having a clear understanding of their strength might have crushed me with despair. It was because it was Misaka. I survived this long because she was the one by my side. She saved my life and you want me to tell her to back off because she’s in the way? Who the hell do you think you are!? You don’t understand the first thing about the human emotion of this human world, but you’re trying to act like some all-knowing god!!!!!!”
>“So take it back, you piece of shit Magic God!! If you badmouth the person who saved my life any more, I’ll go punch you just like you want!!”
>“I don’t care if you’re covered in magma or if you’re over one thousand degrees! Imagine Breaker? I don’t need that for you and I don’t care if it doesn’t work on you! I don’t care if my fist melts away or if my entire body bursts into flames. Yeah, if you don’t shut that filthy mouth of yours right this instant, I’ll keep punching you until you finally do!!!!!!”
>Does Touma even really like Misaka?
Though that may change when Kamachi and Co. finally bend to the fanbase's demands
>How will Misaka react when he gets a boyfriend?
>Though that may change when Kamachi and Co. finally bend to the fanbase's demands
No. You can be sure there's going to be a rejection scene in the last volume, where it doesn't matter even a bit if her fans rage-quit as it is the last volume of the series.
>You can be sure there's going to be a rejection scene in the last volume, where it doesn't matter even a bit if her fans rage-quit
Somehow I don't see Raildex going the way of recently finished harem LNs m8
For one thing Touma isn't the type of MC who would walk away with some grill, more like he'll die or just go back to school with status quo maintained after protecting everyone's smile
I just don't think Mikoto will end the series without confessing her feelings, and there's no way in hell Touma is going to accept her. At best I see his response being interrupted by some other shit as always.
>yfw at the end of the series he loses his memory
>don't feel like finding the quote right now.
Because it doesn't exist, and now you're backpeddaling
Odds are she's probably got feelings for Kuroko
Sorry that you can't prove shit
Obviously we're going to get an omnibus multiple endings novel kind of like what Ben-to did.
>Index ending: He stays with her as she takes over Laura's position as Bishop of the Anglican Church.
>Misaka ending: Stays with her in Academy City.
>Misaki ending: Regains his memories of her and also stays in Academy City with her.
>Seria ending: Gets to date his senpai and work in the upper echelons of Academy City.
>Othinus ending: Touma somehow gains immortality and stays in Valhalla with her.
>Birdway ending: Goes with Birdway and works with her in the Dawn-Colored Sunlight. Optional flash-forward for older Birdway abusing Touma goodness.
>Kanzaki/Itsuwa ending: Works in Necessarius with them and and also includes a harem of nuns.
>New Light ending: Gets seduced by Lessar to finally work for them and gets all the girls of New Light to himself.
>Bros ending: Creates a new organization himself called the Delta Force which will be composed of all of his guy friends.
Fuck off, you fucking fujos! Go back to your owaritumblr threads!
Stop forcing this shit you faggot secondary. I'm not even a Misakafag but you've got to be baiting at this point if you truly don't think she likes Touma. I'll help the other anon and provide the given quote from OT16 he referenced.
>In an unknowing amount of time, she moved her hand to her own chest.
>The girl called Misaka Mikoto had realized something.
>It wasn’t anything that had to do with reason or logic or dignity or appearances or shame
or reputation, it was just a part of her very own heart, evidently the nucleus of the human
Misaka Mikoto herself. The wretched, unsightly, selfish, unreasonable - and yet despite all this, honest and frank and “human”.
>The name of this feeling, Mikoto didn’t know. What kind it was sorted under, she didn’t realize yet. However, today, this day, this time, this moment, Misaka Mikoto knew.
>Inside her slept an enormous feeling that could easily shake her being. A feeling that could easily destroy any control that one of the seven Level 5s of Academy City had over their
inner selves as part of their Personal Reality.
>Kamijou Touma’s back disappeared in the darkness.
>Misaka Mikoto couldn’t stop him in the end.
>The reason was not because her spirit had been beaten because of his actions.
>It was because part of the emotion she had realized pressed against her chest in such a
manner that she couldn’t move a single finger.
>Touma, Accel, Motoharu, Hamazura, Thor, Gunha, Beetle, and Aogami teaming up
That would be fun as fuck and would be a refreshing change of pace from the constant influx of female characters.
Purple is my way of life.
>as she takes over Laura's position as Bishop of the Anglican Church
I hope Laura doesn't get kill, she's one of my favorite supporting characters.
Does anyone in Japan want a Birdway ending? I had the impression that she wasn't very popular there.
Holy hell anon, are you a dense harem protagonist? It's called inference. That picture was literally the illustration of the moment she said that and you're gonna tell me she doesn't like him?
>Am I missing something
Yes you are you dumb faggot.
Inferences are base on previous knowledge. Context clues.
All we know is that Touma annoys her alot, and they call each other names. He saved her and her sisters from Accelerator for which she was grateful. Sometimes they hang out.
None of that screams "romance" to me anymore than Touma and Accel.
Like what, nigger?
It's alright, Birdway is one of Kamachi's favorite and that's all that really matters.
I thought that too, until I read volume 10.
>another raildex thread
When will this ride end? Posting the cutest girl since I'm here.
Well he is the author so I think it could put her in a better position. She's pretty much been a major character in New Testament already anyways so he could always do more with her.
She's creepy, not cute. These two are the cutest.
I don't know. One or two anons complained about raildex and then it seemed to pick up, like one thread is archived and another pops up.
Because there's nothing else to do until NT15 comes out.
I see what you're saying. I guess it's because there hasn't been a big inner conflict/discovery that she's had to go through for development yet compared to the other girls. Again, I believe Kamachi could write something up for her in future novels and it looks like she's sticking around for NT15 so there's hoping.
Friendly reminder that mikoto will be getting the aztec dick and there is nothing you can do about it.
Near the end of this month.
You can read other shit faggot.
Because you're not living your life correctly.
I don't really see how that matters. And honestly, I don't think Touma was that out of character for the situation. Also, his kamikoto doujins are ridiculously erotic regardless, who cares.
That other "Mikoto doesn't love Touma" poster is a retard but anyone who thinks Mikoto's ROMANTIC feelings for Touma aren't shallow and aren't capable of being gotten over is also retarded.
Her friendship with Touma and her hero worship of him will never end.
Why do so many people sperg so hard over this pairing when it's so painfully obvious it will be a first heartbreak for Mikoto? Or a "Oh, I misunderstood my own feelings. How embarrassing. I'm sorry. But you will always have my respect."
KANZAKI ARE YOU SEEING THIS
FUCK HE'S BEHIND ME
LOOK AT THAT FUCK JUST LOOK AT HIM
HE WON'T STOP
KAMIJOU IS HERE TO STEAL MORE OF MY GIRLS
OH GOD THIS HURTS
HELP ME KANZAKI
IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN
I got into and caught up with this series about 5 years ago and didn't interact with the fanbase, so I didn't know popular ships or popular opinions or fan favorite characters. I cared more about Mikoto's clones than Mikoto herself until I read Railgun, which I did after all the LNs. I certainly didn't ship her with Touma. I don't get why the ship is popular either
Shallow feels like the wrong word. The story is building for Mikoto at some point to confess and nothing about how either of them feel seems to indicate how it will go or it won't mean something. The story however seems to indicate that Touma is surrounded by misfortune so unless it is the last volume it probably will end with some kind of misfortune not related to how anyone feels about the other.
I don't doubt that Mikoto wants to confess and to actually do it, and she may even be successful in delivering a confession. But that doesn't make it any less shallow or hollow, to use another word.
are you by chance this anon?
Her internal chaos about her feelings for Touma is one of the most well written "tsundere" storylines I've read. It goes deeper than "I hate you, I love you".
What began as a childish crush, and later hero worship, has evolved into genuine soulful longing. Her feelings aren't shallow.
Doesn't seem anymore or less shallow or childish compared to other characters like Misaki or Index(or any other char don't want best girl conversation) or in any other anime. It is a series targeted at teenagers not sure exactly what you are expecting from one character to like another where the series isn't mainly about romance?
She's not into him for being a spiky haired faggot
She already got over it like Accelerator did. Besides she likes guys she can stand beside, not a slavering worshiper like Kuroko would be. And not some distant demigod.
Part of the reason she's in turmoil is her inability to remain at his side despite all the times he's been to hers. She thought she'd be satisfied with just a "girl back home" who could see him off, but that was bullshit and unlike her.
Kamikoto has been sperged over the most and the longest. Not even Touma/Index lasted as long. And the entire set up, if looked at realistically, is setting her up for a "first crush, first heartbreak"
>Kamikoto has been sperged over the most and the longest. Not even Touma/Index lasted as long.
Yeah because Index and Mikoto have been a part of the series the whole time so they are of course going to be talked about all the time. Index went from a main character with equal time to Mikoto to a side character in NT.
>And the entire set up, if looked at realistically
Stories aren't about being realistic they are about telling a story.
We have memory loss, tragic pasts, super powers, lost love that can never be. I expect more of that. If Mikoto has a first crush break up it will have a lot of emotional punch, it would have to be greater than Misaki at least.
You do realize this is not a shipping series like Nisekoi, right? The "emotional punch" you're looking for obligated to come from how her crush on Touma plays out. And any emotional punch Misakas character may provide doesn't have to come from one thing.
I'm talking about the idea that it is looking at this "realistically" which is stupid. The story isn't about shipping, it is about Touma and his powers, Academy City and the people who created and run it. Index and her past memories. Lots of these bigger plots are the main focus.
However romance or shipping is also a part of the series even if it isn't even a big or minor part. I'm interested to see if after NT14 Touma starts looking at his own "harem", it might make him act or just return to the normal picking up new girls as the story progresses where if he ends up with anyone it will be the last volume.
I don't see her coming back from the dead, but I think Kamachi may do something with her and Fremea. It can't be anything major but maybe some interesting side stuff. Like some kind of experiment or something, just not one as important as Sisters/Dark May
This, with Accelerator and Mikoto as the main players, with Birdway directing. After, Mikoto gets a lecture on magic. There, Accelerator appearance and Mikoto learns about magic all in one.
Only if Kamisato got Othinus.
If he got Othinus, it might explain why he was so calm and not butthurt. Then again, that could be explained by "Oh well, I've just started this, can't win them all, I'll try again next time." Not to mention if he got Othinus, I'm sure he'd have said it. But if Kamachi was being vague, he might have left that out. Who knows?
I just hope there is no shipping shit this volume. Shippers have had a literal feast lately, considering every volume since NT9 has had an above average amount of shipping pandering, for different girls even. I'd say "except NT12" but shippers were all over that one, too.
Aleister will definitely destroy anyone who tries to stop him, Touma and Kakeru being the only two possible exceptions, but if he had to, I'm sure he could destroy them too.
Unless Aleister can get Touma to want whatever he's planning, I imagine he'll just job to Touma like everyone else.
The key to being successful in this series is apparently Touma wanting you to win
Yep, it's pretty clear that whatever Touma wants is going to happen. Will he side with Laura? Aleister? Oppose both of them? it doesn't matter, but you can bet whenever he makes his desires clear, whatever he wants will be what happens.
If Touma doesn't agree with whatever the plan is, of course Aleister will job. He may give Touma hell and there might be sacrifices but you can bet if Touma is against him he will job.
He might side with Aleister depending on what his true goal is.
Weren't they nerfed?
Why? If you mean that in a plot armor sense than whatever, but there's no way Aleister will get defeated by IB, IT, Dragons or whatever. Othinus managed to defend herself against it easily, so he would as well. And that's not even taking into account the various security measures he certainly has implanted into Touma or in some kind of anti-IB device
He kinda just outwitted them. Magic gods are silly they accidentally made a power that can beat and fucked over crowley's dog. Hell the nerf spell was them. The gods so far have just fallen on their own sword a million times.
You seriously think that Aleister is gonna easily mow down Touma when A LITERAL GOD couldn't kill him and keep him dead? The entire fucking world caved to his demand of letting a terrorist live. A world war was stopped because of a punch. It's pretty goddamn obvious that Touma is always going to win and the side he plays for will come out victorious. If you think Aleister is going to be am exception to this you don't get this series. There is the possibility of Touma siding with him, though
Honestly, I can't see Touma siding with Crowley at all. Mainly because I believe his plan will result in lots of death, whether it be magicians or the people Aleister uses (Accelerator, Sisters) There's also the possibility Aeister's plan includes killing Touma
Mikoto x Gunha is the true OTP for men of taste and discretion.
>oh look, Accelerator's hanging on a roof and sees the sniper
>Mikoto is near him and sperg so just as the sniper fires, fucking up the bullet
>Tsuchimikado....Tsuchimikados, bye bye sniper
>Misaki finds out, sends goon to stop sniper
Want me to go on?
Sure but he's not elite or anything
His abilities are basically being very good at martial arts, as well as being a high-tier magician but nerfed by his esper power
His real strength is what his magic name indicates, he's a good trickster
>He could easily take a sniper
He's a mid-tier marksman, not an elite soldier
>what about everyone else
I'm talking about Tsuchimikado. Don't be mistaken I like the guy, but he's hyped as fuck
Are you implying an AC sniper would be an elite soldier? Look at the Dark Side groups. Look at the latest Railgun chapter. The sniper would be skilled, but not a trained soldier. And even if he couldn't do it for some reason, there are plenty of people that could accidentally or intentionally protect him from something as mundane as a sniper. Even Frenda wasn't taken out by a sniper.
She she really is doing something to protect him without his knowledge. I forgot when but around NT10 she said something that made me suspect her of doing so (I think it was when they sent the kill order to all the level 5's)
Oh sure, but if someone hired an actually skilled soldier and not a skill-out thug, Tsuchimikado would have a lot of trouble dealing with it
Hell, even strong espers could have trouble. A sniper isn't mundane if he's actually trained as one (as opposed to being a teenager with a rifle)
When you have espers that control vectors, make shit out of nothing, have electro magnetic fields, mind control abilities, and break electrons, yes, even the most hardened and elite sniper with special, custom made guns and bullets and an impressive kill record is mundane. And that's not even counting people like Tsuchimakdo who use other methods, or people like Hamazura who use tech.
Apart from the top ones (Accel, Kakine, Gunha, arguably Misaka), all espers are vulnerable to conventional combat and firearms.
A sufficiently skilled soldier would be able to dispatch any non-level 5 esper, if he has the element of surprise and carefully plans his hit. An intelligent person with very high proficiency in marksmanship would be difficult to deal with for 99% of espers. They don't even need any special tech.
I never said a sniper couldn't kill an esper. I said a sniper in AC is mundane because there are lots of espers that could deal with a sniper.
And by "deal with" I don't mean "can stop/block a bullet".
There are thousands of esper powers. How many of them do you think could detect human presence? Mind reading/control? Read the future? Any of those could foil a sniper, even if the esper using said power would die if shot. That's not even considering pairing up an esper like that with a combat type esper
Trying to force a shitty meme this hard.
That's fair, but it's also fair to assume that powers like that exist. We don't know all the Level 4s. Hell, we don't even know all the high Level 4s that could probably be Level 5s if AC cared more
>>yfw at the end of the series he loses his memory
>yfw Touma's memories become fragments and are scattered around the world
>they are actually super powerful artifacts
>now it is up to Index and Misaka to restore Touma's memories before they fall into the wrong hands
If AC really needs all these espers and it's true that anybody can level up with the right amount of funding, it seems bad for business to keep the overwhelming majority of them Level 0. It makes the city look like a failure. I get not wanting to make everyone a Level 5, but why not invest in more Level 1s and 2s just so it won't look like the place is a sham filled with failures?
Can't Academy City work in batches? Once they get an Esper to Level 5 they can move on to the next batch of Level 4s and boost them to 5, bit by bit. Then when the all the 4s are 5s they can work on the 3s and so on.
They're pretty successful as it is. Don't forget that the city has a ton of regular schools and institutions as well. It's not all about espers, they're known for their technology too.
Having too many level 5's is against their best interests, and would probably complicate aleister's plans. They already have enough trouble controlling 7 of them.
At least 2 more years until Fre nda in the manga
My new fetish.
Kamachi can't bring himself to kill a dog but offs cute girls like it's nothing.
He better stay away from saiai.
Saiai is super safe. I want her to get a little more development though, seeing as though the other three have something going for them.
Also why does kamachi keep using "new ITEM" to describe them now? It's been like 6 years since volume 15, and all they did was lose frenda and gain hamazura.
He's Aleister's other right-hand man aside from Noukan
He's either a perfect counter to Imagine Breaker via a technology + esper power combination, or some kind of information gathering/intel expert
Either way I bet he knows Aleister personally
To Touma, everyone are equal, so to say. Misaka is in his eyes same as what Index is. Misaka is the one that feels "weird" around Touma, not the other way around. He just perceives her as he does all the rest, with a helpful attitude. buuuuut... Him being the god guy that he is, and Misaka being the good girl that she is(good as in someone who will never giveTouma and indesplicable reason to hate her), indicates that the virus will spread. What do I possibly mean by that? Well, Touma will notice more and more how weird she gets around him, and he will think about it. EVENTUALLY, it will get to him, and then, not neccesarily bevcause he will feel the same around her, he will start feeling weird around her just for the mere fact of knowing why she feels weird around him. That will lead him to the thoughts of "him x Misaka", and that will be the beggining of something, if he will like Misaka that way..
Not really, they are a part of the history of the magic side.
There is still potential for a magician using something based on excalibur or some other shit popping up though, since it hasn't been used yet.
I am trying to change the negative connotation I sense from you in asking that question.. And also, I don't se the purpose of the answer to that. I dunno, neither Touma nor Misaka arr hyperactive whatsoever, so the question isn't all that intriguing to think about.
>I will never get to put it in between her heavenly thighs
>Itsuwa could win the bowl anytime if she lived in AC
Well anyone 14 or older that has the balls to confess could win the bowl.
Post your crack theories
Aogami is a Kihara
Frenda is getting resurrected by dark matter
Aiwass will turn against Aleister
Laura has merely been pretending all this time and is on the same level as Aleister and the magic gods
The yellow nun stuff are vento's casual clothes
Almighty thor can hit accel
Gunha is a natural magic god
Kakine will not come back
Mikoto will never power up gain in depth knowledge about magic because not having those is a part of her character like how touma can't beat well trained fighters Crowley is weaker than he appears Fiamma will be important again considering they made somewhat of a big deal about him hearing Crowley's plan
>>Almighty thor can hit accel
Normal Accel yeah, angel mode no fucking way
>>Gunha is a natural magic god
Interesting but since his power is similar to Ollerus', a failed magic god, wouldn't that be contradictory?
>>Kakine will not come back
I think he will, with a new "nature" to his power
Seems unlikely for him to just disappear like that
>>Crowley is weaker than he appears
Why would you think that?
>>Fiamma will be important again
As a member of the Kamijou faction and help against endgame Aiwass/Aleister/whomever
You think Thor is stronger than Angel mode Accel?
Thor stated that his power was only applicable to the Earth, right? White wings seem to have a larger scale, Accelerator should be able to just use imaginary vectors to defeat him
Aihana will be a new character anon
>Interesting but since his power is similar to Ollerus', a failed magic god, wouldn't that be contradictory?
They are similar in that they are indiscernible not necessarily that they have the same limits.
>Why would you think that?
He seems to be walking on egg shells with how he uses his power. If he is magic god tier their are few things that could harm him. He keeps himself locked in the tower and uses proxies for all of his assaults. He attacked fiamma with a second body and fought the gods using the anti art system and Noukan. The fact that things like fiamma and birdway have thrown his plan off shows that he can't simply bend things to his will like the MG's could.
Thor meant this earth in the sense of this plane of existence. When commented on Othinus he meant she could phase fuck it so his powers would work. Just like how IB got thrown off when she created new realities. Accel ain't that level.
Various characters were sent to the past/reincarnated back into the past. Accelerator is Aleister Touma is Ouma, Bersi, or High Priest Index is Laura Mikoto is Misuzu Misaki is Oriana Birdway is Orsola Agnese is Fiamma, staying perflat and becoming a reverse-trap Sphinx is Aiwass Dog is Noukan Othinus is Aogami
Yeah an Electromaster could use the Arc Blades from Thor, but the Meltdowner is a bit different.
"As electrons have the properties of both particles and waves, Shizuri's ability allows her to forcibly control electrons in the "ambiguous" state of an electron where it is both particle and wave, and when they strike other objects the electrons are unable to react either as particle or a wave because of their state."
>annoying nun eats his food and bites him 24/7
>instead of getting her to pay for her presence with her body he chooses to sleep in the bathtub
That was some next level beta shit. I've started the LN, this guy better redeem himself.
At this point they are probably waiting for JC staff rights to die off so another studio can continue/restart the adaptation. Which could be a good thing. Unless the rights ends up in DEEN hands or something like that.
Railgun S2 first half and S1 first half where ok, everything else was a waste of everyone's time.
JC staff did good last year but that doesn't fix the amount of adaptations it shit on the past 13 something years.
I don't dislike Index. I find her okay, and never found that Kamachi saw her as a romantic interest. All Kamachi does is playing with harem antics without any kind of progress.
Well. S2 sedon half (more like third, but okay) was absolute garbage.
I kinda liked S1, but I think that was the whole "new show" thing. I need to watch it again.
Predictions for a S3
>Index gets her memory back and cucks Touma with Stiyl
>Everyone loses their powers and the only character left who still appreciates Touma for being Touma is Biribiri
>all the men Misaki used and abused show up to her dorm and gangrape the shit out of her
>Sphinx eats Othinus
>Touma and Mikoto get married, live in a mansion and hire Kanzaki as the maid who Touma fucks on the side
>Itsuwa spends the rest of her life in prison
This is how it ends. Kamachi agrees. Don't bother him about it.
Misaka could do a lot of neat things. Problem is she handicaps herself because she doesn't actually want to hurt people. This has the unfortunate side effect of her appearing as weak, though this is even addressed by Aleister in fucking volume 2 where he mentions how most espers in AC will never get the chance to utilize the full measure of their power because they live such ordinary lives.
>Index is the character I would make a lover of
It's on the interviews
Touma pre and post memory loss has a high sexual awareness towards her.
Even when Itsuwa was next to him his thoughts were more about making Index to be more like Itsuwa
Having a romantic interest dowsnnt turns the series into romance, that's why there is no grand development romance wise but you have Kamachi hammering our heads over about how important Index is for Touma every time he can writing small get intimate moments between them.
Index for the orignal series had parts of the two liking each other. In NT Index has taken a backseat and besides Index likes Touma because he makes her food hasn't had the same few moments of potential romance. Doesn't mean it won't change but for the last few novels which means 1-2 years Index hasn't done much of anything.
She wanted the D but he wouldn't give it. Lessar is a prime slut.
Ah, breast-envy. How I love the concept
Seriously, what even sets Accel and Kakine apart from the other Level 5s? Are they the only ones capable of gaining Wings or are they merely the first to reach that level and the others will one day get those as well.
If he stops being an obsessiv asshole, perhaps.
Honestly we should just be done with kakine and just focus on beetle, but I'm pretty sure kamachi is going to bring him back again anyways.
>Hidden in the shadow of the main plan
>People actually think that Fukyiose won't win the Toumabowl
>first battle: accel rips Kakine apart after his 5 minutes of vector invulnerability are up, doesn't give a shit about Kakine's gay angel powerup
>second battle: accel struggles to put Kakine down permanently and helps Beetle take over the network minimally
Do either of those really sound like asspulls....
Was rereading LN15 out of nostalgia and made me remember how Accel godawfully shitstomped Kakine in that last fight.
By far one of the better LN's in the entire series.
Timeline wise it hasn't been a half a year even, I don't expect some grand development yet.
Touma really was interested in Index before be lost his memories, and afterwards he was troubled about his past self feelings for her and while not explicitly expressed anyone can see how attached he is to her.
Pretty most of what his interview says came to be in the series.
That was BS, but I really want to see what takitsubo is capable of now. She could probably end up being the strongest level 5, even if its for a short period of time.
I want her to sacrifice herself down the line so hamazura can hook up with the better girl mugino.
Yo, I just read that Accelerator realizes that the sisters project was actually murder during the middle of his fight and that caused him to lose his will to fight which let Touma survive and beat him.
If this is true, that changes everything. Has accelerator actually done anything morally wrong from his perspective? He actually deluded himself into thinking that he was grinding slimes but eventually felt remorse when he faced reality.
>I just read that Accelerator realizes that the sisters project was actually murder during the middle of his fight and that caused him to lose his will to fight which let Touma survive and beat him.
He was literally dead set on killing him with ball thing he was accumulating.
After Touma manages to hit Accelerator for the first time in his life, he does get serious about killing him, but he still wanted to fuck around with shit he's never controlled before, which didn't work out.
He should've been able to kill Touma after the plasma dissipated because now he's serious, but I'm assuming that it's around this point that he realizes the error of his ways and loses his will to fight. I haven't read the novels so I don't know for sure.
Actually he doesn't realise it until he meet last order, it's more in this scene he just thinks the sisters were soulless flesh robots that existed to get him to level 6. Last order points out that he kept trying to scare them to see if they'd react and not fight, but since none did he just assumed they weren't really people.
He said his favorite changes over time. He never said Index was his favorite, only that he'd like her as a lover. At a time he said Aqua and Hamazura were his favorite characters, now I don't know.
canon, although I'm not sure how it deals with the discrepancies between the railgun and index sisters arc, but I'll just take the railgun one as my personal canon since it was better done.
How hype would it be if kamachi made a faction war in this next novel and did it in the battle royale style?
You've got three sides, if you include Yuiitsu. We still don't know what she's capable of.
>She'll never run away flashing her little butt at you
>Season 3 of Railgun is all slice of life
>The sisters become more individual and normal
Kuroko gets the girl
Yeah, i'm game
Worst is at her finest when she's fucking with people.
Where did these other 40 come from? This isn't the raildex I know.
She's no dyke, wanting to see uiharu's panties is universal.
He's definitely alive, there's no way some random high school kid can take him out even with the help of his harem.
He'll probably come back to fight if the faction war actually breaks out.
Calling it now, Kamisoto actually gets taken out by Aogami Pierce, not because of some unknown power, but because he is such a complete and utter pervert that Kamisoto's WR has no power over him and Aogami is utterly pissed someone is actually rejecting a harem. It was be the only time anyone but Touma pulls a 'you're not living your life correctly' speech and it is all about his fetishes.
This is the kind of face of someone who wants to be the waifu of a 3dpd /a/-fag
I will step up to the plate for this
I'm dreading the time when Aleister becomes a primary antagonist because you just know it's gonna lead to 4-5 episode long fights, dramatic speeches and flashbacks, screaming, villains becoming bros, powerups, "heroic sacrifices', and Touma going emo after defeating every powerful opponent. And get ready for a 10 episode speech about "muhaha I'm an unbeatable god" with apocalyptic latin chanting.
>animated fight against aleister
We will never see it. Everything up to NT14 along with filler side stories can make up another 3-4 seasons, and the end of the LN is nowhere in sight.
That needs the whole trio of Delta Force there. Since the other 2 already have a bone to pick with him, it'd be funny if they hound him about fetishes together in order to defeat him.
>Season 3 of Railgun is all slice of life
>The sisters become more individual and normal
Oh god yes. Watching them discover themselves would be awesome.
>Misaka yamato nadeshiko
As a fan of GUTS, I do not approve of this idea, and I want nagai to leave this image board.
>Not wanting to see her have a happy ending
Come on, you have to give her some compassion
I agree with this guy >>135686413
Fuck off Railgun-onlyfags with your moe slice of life shit, give us more GUTS.
>give us more GUTS.
pic related, here you go!
But it makes sense that Mikoto is his favorite since she represents
Nuitfrom the book of law. The level 6 shift arc of Railgun even shows changes her appearance that support this theory. See >>135654722
It doesn't make sense for a specific person to be factored into a plan that was created way before she was born.
His general goal is pretty clear based on what we know from the light novels and what we know about the real man.
He dislikes Christianity and a few other religions and calls there rule the Aeon of Osiris. He claims to have ended this by writing the Book of Law, bringing the Aeon of Horus.
He will end Christianity and all the magical systems by activating the imaginary numbers district. He will use it to create AIM-based beings on the level of God to represent the characters in the Book of Law.
I did some short research on the Number Six name and this is the result:
>There is a plant called Ai (Ai no Hana). It is the source of the Japanese indigo dyeing, or Aizome. In the ancient period, the color of blue could only be achieved with indigo. Since it was very valuable and rare, only persons of the privileged classes could don it. Over time, indigo clothes were more commonly used from the Edo period. Indigo dyed material became a part of Japanese life as people believed it turned more durable through repeated dyeing. There was a saying such as “Insects hate clothes dyed with indigo. In the past Japanese nobles valued it not only for its beauty but also for its antimicrobial properties, which helped prevent rashes and other problems caused by chafing and perspiration.
>It tends to deteriorate rapidly as it depletes the soil.
>In time, it brought great wealth to Awa province, as Tokushima Prefecture was formerly known.
Based on it I made the following theory:
The Number Six power might be bacterial or plant based. I think it will probably be bacterial, though.
Here is where I get crazier: why would he allow so many people to use his name for their purposes?
Maybe like the plant in his name he first needs to "dye" someone in his colors, then he can use them to produce the bacteria he needs for whatever else he can make the bacteria do. Or maybe it is the other way around: he puts bacteria in them using his vector (that guy who works for him) and it makes them really be Aihana Etsu. It might explain why Misaki found out that guy from NT7 wasn't the real Number Six but the Kihara said all level 5s gathered there.
Aihana Etsu was indeed there inside that guy with the bacteria, but Misaki couldn't see it because she can only read minds, not scan a person's body.
Also, I think Aogami and Aihana probably have a connection because of the Indigo to Blue part. Don't know if they would be the same person, though.
That's actually a pretty interesting take on the whole Aogami Piece mystery.
I suppose that would also explain why he knows some things he shouldn't know at all. He could probably be working with aleister as a part of his information network.
Hopefully kamachi makes his power something interesting like this and not something insanely obvious like a power that has to do with his eyes.
>accelerator and kakine are edgelords
>mugino is a crazy bitch
>aihana is unknown but if it really is aogami its self explanatory
>gunha is just a chuuni that spouts the same line a million times
Not really hard for keikaku man to choose a favorite, if I was him she'd be mine too. The only one I can't explain is misaki, I suppose her power isn't as useful.
It may be because of the aforementioned Nuit connection. It may be personal sentiment, because she reminds him of his daughter, or even merely the fact that she is the most sane, reasonable, and normal level 5.
Regardless, it is ridiculous to suggest that the "heaven" he is creating with the imaginary numbers district is a personal heaven for him to play with a girl who reminds him of his daughter.
It is to enact the changes prophesies in the Book of Law. A move from the paternalistic Aeons of Isis and Osiris, distinguished by magic and its utilization of higher powers for energy (e.g. telesma) and symbols (crosses, etc), to the humanistic Aeon of Horus where people create power for themselves (AIM based espers).
If that's his plan then why did he lose his shit at the end of NT14? I only recently finished it so I'm trying to understand his issue. I'm not sure how that's similar to what the magic gods were doing.
Also isn't creating something like that going to end up fucking over the magic side? I doubt laura, if she actually has the power to oppose him, would let it happen.
The personal heaven for him to play with his fake daughter Misaka does seem ridiculous.
The fact she is the most normal level 5 doesn't seem likely because it seems like the city is what drove all the other level 5s to be insane.
The others I understand but in what way is misaki any worse than mikoto? She seems pretty fine to me, aside from the memory shenanigans with touma.
I just read the very end of NT14 again and it mostly seems to make sense. It even explains his motives and origins again. He seems to be despairing that his manipulation of events is no different than the magic gods.
>Also isn't creating something like that going to end up fucking over the magic side? I doubt laura, if she actually has the power to oppose him, would let it happen.
Yes, he wants to fuck over the magic side, that's the goal. In the light novels he's referred to as a magician that abandoned magic a few times.
Shit, for a while I thought that it was possible for the espers and magic to coexist after his endgame. Guess it's time to go reread a couple of them because I haven't touched them in ages.
Well we don't know the exact nature of the imaginary numbers district's effect. It definitely follows different laws than religions but there's a possibility that certain types of magic that don't have a religious basis may be possible.
Like the crystal communications magic/curse based on an urban legend.
Well in the way that espers react to using magic, it seemed like the exact same thing was happening to magic users inside the active imaginary numbers area when it was in effect during the academy city invasion. With the fact that Aleister rejected magic it does seem the plan is anti magic even if maybe things like gemstones are neither magic or science are not impacted.
It seems to me that Espers are already subject to the laws of the Aeon of Horus, that's why they can't use magic. Controlling the AIM fields around the world allows them to subject everyone to the Aeon of Horus.
Not very many espers have tried to use magic so we don't know for sure that every type of magic is out of the question. There may exist some magic that conforms to the rules of the new Aeon.
I suspect Aleister appearing in front of Fiamma and using magic (invisible staff) was using the AIM (allowing Hyouka to cross) to cast magic under the laws of the Aeon of Horus.
