Did you grow up on Sailor Moon and DBZ?

No, when I was a kid, I saw an episode of Sailor Moon and had no clue what was going on, and I saw an episode of DBZ and had no clue what was going on, so naturally, I didn't bother with them.

I never watched a single episode of SM when I was a kid. Some DBZ yes. But mostly, Yu Yu Hakusho, CCS, Rurouni Kenshin, Pokemon, Digimon. Ones I only watched maybe a handful of episodes for whatever reason were Inuyasha and Detective Conan, but I do remember them.

The US seems to have treated it strangely. Down under, they aired it on every morning before school cartoon block and everyone and their mum saw episodes of it or at least the ones they showed, they even cut out more episodes, so nobody even knew what happened to Nephrite
