Why is Kyoko so underrated? She is probably stronger than non devil Homura.
She held back against Sayaka that wasn't her full power. She could probably go 1v1 with Any of the girls in her prime form.
Also homura could have gotten bested by even Sayaka at one point.
I feel like Mami could beat her still. She's Kyoko's senior, and even with knowledge of what Mami was capable of, hax time powers, and dozens of time loops to master her abilities, Homura still lost to her.
Kyouko is doomed to be a side character and an accessory to Sayaka.
Well, it makes sense. Madoka was just a crybaby, Homura is easily neutralized with bondage.
She just underestimated Madoka's determination.
Yea she caught Kyoko off guard and Madoka caught Mami off guard. That was really out of character for Madoka to just straight up shoot Mami instead of trying to reason with her like Homura. It seems like no one cares about it though.
I think she accurately decided that there was no time for negotiation, Mami was going to kill them.
This artist is hard to understand.
Before the fan service movies, I think it was commonly believed Homura and Kyouko were the strongest.
>That was really out of character for Madoka to just straight up shoot Mami
Mami had already demonstrated the ability to kill one of the others, and she was about to kill Madoka's closest friend Homura. It was the only way to stop her, you can see Mami just barely miss Homura too. Madoka still broke down crying immediately after though.
I wouldn't mind storing my soul in a gem. It actually seems very convenient.
You can see Mami fire though, the only reason she didn't get the shot was because Madoka specifically shot Mami's soul gem. So Mami wobbled just as she fired. Anything but shooting Mami's soul gem would have likely meant Homura being killed.
She specifically "just remembers" something as she's talking to Sayaka later on though. Some memories come back, but it's obvious she's still just a fragment of herself.
She didn't set up a ribbon clone against Charlotte because a) she didn't have the magical energy to spare due to having limited grief seed supply and fighting familiars, b) not thinking it would be necessary, and/or c) overconfidence due to Madoka's friendship. Probably mostly a).
No one can be prepared for all situations at all times.
didn't urobuchi literally say mami got counterpicked by charlotte or something?
i still think she was just too distracted by the whole "not suffering for once" phenomena, though
No, I'm not saying like series inconsistent powerlevels. Literally, in the real world, Mami couldn't use as much magic because of Grief Seeds. In Homura's world, you don't need to refill your magic.
It's literally inconsistent, because I was trying to compare someone with a limit to someone without a limit.
Oh. Yes. Sorry, you sounded smarmy.
She dies to Charlotte in reality because she didn't have her head on right. Also because it's the real world and she doesn't have insane special powers given to her by Homura's happy fun time witch barrier world place thing.
She didn't take it seriously and was caught off guard. I think she looked over at Madoka and Sayaka and smiled right before Bebe popped out.
The real Homura was the one creating the barrier though. What fights Mami is just a fragment. Mami is made to counter fragment!Homura so perfectly because the real Homura is subconsciously enforcing it.
>tfw the concept movie takes place inside Homura's world
>Homura keeps making Mami insanely overpowered
Homura did everything wrong.
