How did DIO hire him?
Shit, that's a really good question.

Bananas.
how did the sailors see the boat?
>>135010729
Why would you give the arrow to a freaking animal in the first place?
>>135010729
He promised him all the little girls he would find
>>135011231
Strength was just that strong of a stand.
>>135011231
Explained as "power so massive it could be seen" or some shit.

>so powerful it can even let non stand users see it, walk on it, and inhabit it
>cant beat one measly joestar
>>135011853
That's why part 3 was bad in my opinion. Jojo should've had a harder time winning against the tarot stand users, but he main-character'd them to death without breaking a sweat in most cases.
>>135011231
Araki doesn't care.

The Stand didn't manifest by itself as a punchghost, like most others, but via an actual, physical vessel, in this case a normal ship.
That's why it was visible to everyone, like Wheel of Fortune and some few other Stands in later parts.
>>135011231
Stand rules are not 100%, they are just based on what the characters know so far.
In reality stands could do any bullshit
>>135011853
Well, he defeated everyone with ease, but failed only due being an easily enraged rape ape.
>>135011231
The ship was real. Strength didn't create a ship from nothing, it transformed a pre-existing ship into a bigger ship. People can't see stands but they can see real things being effected by stands.
