Kyon is probably one of my favorite protagonists in anime.

It was to me. I just didn't like it that much aside from Kyon and I guess Yuki.
I guess I should say that I specifically meant the anime series. I thought the movie was actually pretty damn good, but i've never been interested enough to read the LNs.
