Nah, that deck has OCG legal cards like Super Rejuvenation and card destruction. It's generally the same but with those cards it can net more advantage than trying to make the build TCG friendly. Which of course it helps out the deck further being able to draw multiple cards in one turn.

Because nostalgia is a cancer to any franchise since it brings in snobbish elitists who claim to "Only like it when it was good" instead of actually trying the new stuff if they like it. I love Pokemon and Arc V.
The difference between hating every other series except for the most recent one(s) is how you treat the series.
I love every Pokemon, and I don't say "oh this generation is better becauz it was first" or "lol only an idiot would ever care about the first series".
I don't watch the Pokemon anime, so I can't comment on it, but I hate those who say that every Pokemon other than the original 150which is complete bullshit because Gold and Silver Pokemon were already in the game, just because of nostalgia.
The same thing with Yugioh. I admit, I'm not a hardcore fan, I only starting watching the show about a year ago, and only started playing the game a few months. But I know the difference between respecting DM and hating every new summoning/series.

I'd say about 150-200 since the most episodes a Yugioh series had was 224.
We're at episode 85 now, so we're either halfway or a quarter done since synchro is nearing its end after the duels of Yugo and Yuya and finally Jack vs Yuya. Yuri shows up and nukes synchro so they flee to xyz to master Rank-ups and Chaos xyz changes to combat fusion which takes about 20-30 episodes give or take out some filler and they declare war on fusion which takes about 30-40 episodes.
Finally, we get the conclusions which takes about 3-5 episodes, one for the conclusion of each dimension and the final episode.
Then we move on to the sixth Yugioh which is either a DM reboot or a series staring a girl to mimic Jojo.

In other words, Crow's kids would have really high, positive expectations of Crow due to misunderstandings, and Crow cannot meet those expectationswithout Reiji's help

Well they're not true fans then. I've seen every YGO series and am currently watching ARC-V and they all have their values and flaws, yet DM is still my favorite but I still acknowledge the other series too. Also I've a lot of arc-v fans acting like snobbish elitists whenever someone mentions DM filler or Duelist Kingdom rules by saying everything but Battle City was shit in the anime. Sure the filler arcs didn't follow the manga but they still told compelling stories imo. Sure Duelist Kingdom didn't follow the rules but the rules they did use were interesting to consider at the very least.

I see it as a celebration for the 20th anniversary of YGO. That's a pretty big deal and even more so that the original creator himself is taking part in it to show his appreciation for the fans. Plus, it's not like there's really been THAT much nostalgiafagging as of late. DM finished airing 10+ years ago, you got Yugi to show up in the last 2 episodes of GX which was like 7 years ago, and then BBT which was 5 years ago. It's not like nostalgiafagging is constantly happening so I don't see why people complain so much.

I personally think YGO has improved over the length of time it has aired. Each series testing the waters and seeing how mature it can get with card games/how ridiculous they can bend the rules of acceptable. After Zexal, they knew. They knew the formula, to sell card games the best. They are always refining their formula. Arc-V is a testament to that. They realized fans love angst, as much as a bit of romance. With a dash of Japanese politics. Taking inspiration from other shounen. They created this masterpiece. Sure they make mistakes, but it can only get better.
I look forward to playing card games with you gentleman. May the best man win.
