So when's the next chapter come out and we learn if Rory is really being rapped by a Minotaur or not?
Because according to Swiss Guy
>Before there's a dozen of useless 'so short' comments: remember that vol. 8 is released next month, so normally there wouldn't be a chapter this month at all
is the Gate anime starting back up in January or February
According to some doujins.
But seriously it wouldn't surprised me if they did later on just on the side. They seem to be in heading towards that kind of relationship. Of course she's going to have to fight with the rest of the harem.
nobody in that pic. Everyone in this one
plus the princess much later. Or so I'm told.
>he has Persia-san
But how tight is his grip?
Pina, due to her status, can't actually be in the harem. Later there is serious discussions on her trying to secure a marriage with Itami in order to gain political advantage and strengthen Pina''s right to rule, but at that point Itami is actually over-qualified as a royal consort and had no reason to agree to it.
Itami the Dragon Slayer built up a reputation, purely by accident, and at some point he no longer had anything to gain marrying a princess. Making it even harder is he is contracted with Rory, who as a demigod out-ranks any mortal princess by default. Pina couldn't be head-wife, and as a princess she really can't allow her status to be diminished by being a lesser wife. So it is all a cluster-fuck and she has no chance.
Does her family's kingdom even have any hopes to survive the oncoming changes? There's little reason to be so strict with the royal protocol if royalty is on the verge of extinction anyways. She could step forward and became a more modern kind of political figure. Hence having more freedom to pursue Itami.
>Does her family's kingdom even have any hopes to survive the oncoming changes?
The JSDF has NO INTENTION of dismantling the Empire. They do not have the political will or the resources to build a new government from scratch. They just want peace treaties and other contracts to be honoured, and that means keeping the existing government structures intact.
It would be RETARDED to try and "bring democracy" to this place. It is stupid and so silly you had to be American to think it will work.
I remember the anime mentioning that the empire's situation is similar to earth's situation between america, russia, and china as in they all keep each other in check and if anyone on of them goes down it throws off the balance of power.
What's wrong with the politics?
No, seriously, people dismiss it as JSDF propaganda but nothing about the armed forces in there is unique to the JSDF. Hell, you could replace it with the US Army and the only thing you'd need to change are the cultural references.
Anime version is pretty cute too.
Dude, no, ignore him. It's so obviously bait it hurts. And I bet someone will reply to this comment arguing about some bullshit.
Here, have some lusty mermaids.
When is the tomboy going to show up? I can only hold out for best girl for so long.
My memory is vague, but someone wanted to get Itami all horny with an aphrodisiac in some wine and have him do it with someone. But the mermaids and elves get a hold of it first and have an orgy.
For the sake of science I'm going to say yes.
Yeah, I fell for it I guess.
Also why is Six-Arms girl so cute?
She could take 2 cocks and the rest would gangbang the loli countess.
Who is this? I know it's not Hamilton.
Not really.Itami has Rory, Tuka, Lelei and Yao, Tomita has Bozes and Kurata has Persia. The whole of Intel Branch is fond of Delilah. That's about it.
To this day, nobody has been able to tell me who the girl at the back is.
I like his bunny girls
most of the covers are like that
and here I was deleting the last cover because of spoilers, and then there's THIS guy
not tellin. The LN is getting translated anyways.
A bunch of stories happen in the gaiden, but Hardy gives Leila the power to make gates. They spend I think a year or two trying to find the right gate to earth. Two worlds can keep a gate open forever because it'd destroy both which is why it closed. JSDF has very little problems, but the most it has is regarding fuel.
well if you guys are going to spoil shit anyways, please be kind and use spoilers.
Wasn't someone supposed to be localizing the manga? Wonder whatever happened with that.
>very little problems
They're short on ammo, fuel, food, spare parts, and are forced to build muskets and lead balls just to barely scrap by until the GATE is reopened. Not to mention they lose several men and women to battle and the nearby town is burned to the ground.
>I disagree with it so it's bait!
It's more an issue of forgetting about things for sake of convince.
>okay, so the we just discovered something really fucking cool, and we want to keep the US out of it. In the context of our story, how could we outsmart the US military?
>hmmm.. We could launch a propaganda campaign, quarantine the zone, maybe lobby the US govt, try and work with the people, outsmart the US by exploiting the numerous flaws in its logistics and training system?
>nah, lets just pretend the US bases in Japan don't admit and make the navy SEALs a bunch of airshitting poorfag kidies!
But you've disregarded my point.
A). Why the fuck would the US send less than the best for such an important operation
B). Why did they have "shittier gear" than the "special forces" that ambushed them when the US literally designs, manufactures and supports some 80% of all JDSF gear?
C). Even if this was just an investigation by some CIA guys and not a full on op, why the fuck did the JDSF spec ops guys try to kill them if they didn't want a third bomb?
They didn't know it was the US until after they checked the bodies. Before that, all they knew was that their travel plan got leaked and the hotel that they were going to stay at got burned down. So they spent the night at an unplanned location with extra security that shot anyone that got close.
A) they had no time to send the best. The guests were only in Japan for 3 days and 2 nights and they had to use their station staff. They didn't even have time to gather the proper intel.
B) spies don't typically have NVGs, body armor and the like. The surveillance equipment they use is not combat rated.
C) The CIA operatives are clandestine, they will be disavowed by the US if they're caught. Officially, they don't exist. It's different from killing proper US soldiers. Spies are not protected by the articles of war.
Some anon told me the original canon she survives from being sold as a sex slave by her husbando and they end up opening a restaurant in japan. I like this series, but there is way to much cute girl suffering
>shoot first and ask questions later
Somewhat realistic but wholely unprofessional.
>killing American soldiers and not getting a big fat boot up the ass
>they had no time to send the best.
>3 days two night
>what is air travel
>what is supersonic flight
>literally thousands of marines in Japan
>hundreds of tanks
Fucking take over the entire block. You know the US could.
>spies don't typically have
Depends on the spy, and these men certainly would
>. It's different from killing proper US soldiers. Spies are not protected by the articles of war.
Under this logic there is no reason for the US to not drive a tank through Japan's own special forces base.
And they're dead Americans.
American soldiers are kinda dumb, but they take losing meb very seriously.
Fallujah happened because four random blackwater contractors got killed. Mercenaries, largely unassociated with america. America bombed Fallujah to the ground, killed everything within the city walls
There are two different sources one is the LN one is the WN. I think the WN came first. The LN is the bad end version from what I understand. The mangaka is edgy as fuck so he likes the bad ends
>every Gate thread has a buttblasted Murrican complaining about the nationalism and/or politics
>as if most Murrican comics and popular literature don't have something similar
For fuck's sake burgerfats, the world doesn't revolve around you 24/7.
The US can't use overt military force without getting fucked by the international community. They have to at least pretend to be the good guys.
Well, you're basically fapping about the US steamrolling everything. Good luck with that.
You say it's enough time to send the best, but they were racing the clock to beat Chinese and Russian operatives who wanted to do the same. Even with their rushed, sloppy job, they showed up at the same time as the other groups. If they took the time to be better prepared, they would have been too late.
And also, when Americans started getting shot, the President literally called them and said to stop unless they wanted to be on the bad end of an international incident.
>Well, you're basically fapping about the US steamrolling everything. Good luck with that.
>I'm not winning the argument! I should just call him a burgerfat!
You've refuted literally nothing I've said.
And if the US needs to look good with the international community, perhaps Japan should take its own advice and not shoot a bunch of CIA operatives.
Did I not already establish that there is a good way to mock the united States and I am completely down with that happening? Marine training is turning into a joke, the logistical support is getting somewhat flimsy, many people critisize the existence of us bases peroid.
You could use any or all of these to make an interesting, realistic, thoughtful and thought provoking arc, or perhaps make a more educated comedy.
But gate did neither.
>And also, when Americans started getting shot, the President literally called them and said to stop unless they wanted to be on the bad end of an international incident
I would fucking hope so. This should be normal.
>You say it's enough time to send the best, but they were racing the clock to beat Chinese and Russian operatives who wanted to do the same.
They would never need to do anything like that! Not only would "competing" with meme force spetsnaz and China's "we do good in competition but in nothing else" SF not occur, but even if such a thing was a worry, the US could literally flood the streets around the VIP and AO with tanks.
You know they could.
>an interesting, realistic, thoughtful and thought provoking arc, or perhaps make a more educated comedy
I don't know how to break this to you but
it's a goddamn manga. Not sure what you were- you know what, forget it.
>calling someone weeb on /a/
>being shit is okay because its a manga!
>being shit is okay because its Japanese!
>I don't want high quality work, or at least simple but edited work! I just want a SHINY OBJECT to hold my attention!
No. Fucking no. Regardless whether you're writing war and peace or green eggs and ham, you do it fucking WELL.
There's a difference between someone who goes on 4chN and someone who can't accept that his Chinese cartoons aren't completely perfect.
>I'd refute you, but its too much work!
>effort is optional.
>muh unstoppable war machine
Nice smokescreen dumbass.
The only people who have "beaten" the US in the war business are people who managed to play an elaborate game or guerilla warfare and distraction. If GATE's method was
>let's draw them out for an extended period of time and use propaganda and espionage to cripple morale and make hem give up
Everything would be fine.
It was brought up early on that until the Japanese survey corps returns, no other country was to get directly involved. They all agreed and then immediately started trying to do it anyway in secret.
Flooding the streets with tanks is not secret.
Gaining access to resources is great, but not at the cost of making the whole world your enemy while still making war efforts in the Middle East, which they are stated to still be doing.
>I love shit!
>Are you that /pol/fag posting Papi across several threads these past couple of days?
I don't go to /pol/, and I don't embody or associate with people who do. I do not like that place.
>I don't have an argument, so I'll just call you new
If anyone seriously has justification for this style of writing, seriously, say it. I believe I have made it clear that I am not a freedumb and do not even like the US's way of doing things all that much. Fuck, I'm the guy who thinks america should pull all its bases out of Japan, or move them to a single island.
>Fuck, I'm the guy who thinks america should pull all its bases out of Japan, or move them to a single island.
That is why you are at odds with GATE. The author is Japanese Right Wing, which means he is pro-America and pro-American Bases. Many people seemed to have this mistaken belief that GATE is anti-America, which is retarded. The Chinese are the main badguys in the franchise and with a little Korean sprinkled in.
>I don't agree with it, so its bait!
Fuck you. You're cancerous.
>being a hipster
>They all agreed and then immediately started trying to do it anyway in secre
Well I mean, the shit did you expect? Personally I question why they let the survey corps have its way in the first place, but I'll just roll with it.
Again, I understand not wanting to alienate the entire world. Makes complete sense to me.
But why, I ask, if this happened, would the US (and Japan for that matter) not either quarantine the zone or declare it a sovereign nation?
As lovely as those resources may be,as you said yourself, the US can not afford to alienate the entire world. This would, by all logic, become another area 51; completely knocked down, completely controlled, completely secret.
>GATE is anti-America, which is retarded
Just to make it clear, I'm not mad because I'm dumb inbred American Hick who can't accept that his country is really fucking stupid sometimes.
I'm here for what I see as a plot hole-no politics here. GATE can be as anti (or pro apparently) American as it wants. That is no business of mine.
My point is, regardless of whether it's right or wrong, why did america in this series act as silly as it did?
They couldn't keep it secret. An entire invading army appeared and slaughtered hundreds of civilians in the middle of a popular tourist location, in the middle of a highly populated city. Everyone in the world already knows.
And they did build a perimeter and a small base around the portal that only the JSDF was allowed into.
>the US does not do the thing it is literally there for
>the us, after building the base, does not quarantine the zone
The word is out, yes, but it can be controlled-at the very least, you can control the location...
>tfw your countrymen get butthurt over your country's politics as depicted in a Navajo sand-painting pictorial
>My point is, regardless of whether it's right or wrong, why did america in this series act as silly as it did?
Americans didn't act silly, Bush did. The agents are only doing what they were told. Remember that this is written somewhere around the 2nd Iraq war.
>Bush contols the entirety of the American military and its operations
I would be okay if this was Mr face tumor trying to get more oil or something (and generally failing because the US is not a good damn monarchy)
But it isn't.
Also, why would you agrue that this is "pro-america"? Didn't seem to much of either to me.
Stop being a broken record and fuck off, clearly GATE is not for you. If your autism can't handle it, if its fans can't answer, so be it. Drop it and leave.
>Also, why would you agrue that this is "pro-america"? Didn't seem to much of either to me.
America is supplying many pieces of hardware to the JSDF in the story. They are also expecting some share of the benefits when all isa said and done. At no point did the politicians WANT to kill Americans, and they were surprised the agents were there at all.
Officially Pina's visit to Tokyo was a state secret. The government decided that they would keep the US out of this. The Americans found out anyway, and decided to kidnap her because she doesn't legally exist and it isn't a crime for a non-existent person to go missing. They only had 24 hours to get a team together because she was leaving the next day. Everything as rushed and it ends in a clusterfuck. The whole thing was brushed aside and both sides pretend it never happened. After all, there was no American agents just as there was no Princess Pina.
>stop saying I smokescreen!
Listen dude, I have debated with every other man who has provided a conflicting opinion, and have won against each.
If you would like to try to prove otherwise, unlike you, I am not afraid to stand up for my ideas.
But it's the politics that make it unrealistic, guise.
>I have debated with every other man who has provided a conflicting opinion, and have won against each
This sounds suspiciously like that one pasta.
>I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals
>So it's pro American because both sides agree they were being equal parts idiots and just forget about it?
America is still helping Japan, before and after the incident-that-never-was. If it was anti-America wouldn't you think the author would have avoided using American aid?
Buy the aid was obligatory under the us-japan agreement.
Pro america would be doing more than the bare minimum.
Maybe I underestimate just how much Japan hates America, but I would hope "exceeding expectations" for USFJ soldiers does not count as "he did his job for once"
But then again they call it the chair force for a reason.
>I can understand killing off the guy and his wife and even his bunnygirl concubine, but I'm surprised no one took the girl to be their own personal loli sex slave.
In a world where loli sex slaves are legal, they aren't actually that rare and thus not that valuable. Slaves that have useful skills that can earn money are much more valuable. Children are a dime a dozen.
>Buy the aid was obligatory under the us-japan agreement.
>Pro america would be doing more than the bare minimum.
America only gave what the Japanese asked for. Why the HELL do you think any politicians would be willing to give away more shit than was asked?
This is an internal matter for the Japanese. America has no reason officially to force the issue when they have no reason to. Japan is an ally and no pint acting like an overlord.
>Everyone who killed Bessara was mad at him because of his crimes, I don't think they cared who was with him.
What? They didn't kill him for justice, they killed him because he was a crimelord who got replaced by his former allies. It's just bad guys killing bad guys.
Why the fuck wasn't this animated?
All we got was an ex-wife who looked like she is 15 years old, instead of the delicious human suffering of the self-inflicted wounds of an Otaku.
>Then it's not pro america then it's it?
How so? It is still a Japanese book, just because it is pro-America doesn't mean Americans need to have anything to do with the main cast.
... The hell are you talking about?
Pro america would be america going above and beyond the call of duty, not only supplying help that was requested, but better aid and more of it, in addition to more competent execution
>Same reason they cut out Rory executing rapists and why she hits people with the blunt side of her halberd in the animu.
I don't understand. Was the story too real? Was it too human for them?
We have this stupid Harem going on with wizards, elves and fucking demigods, but having a tiny bit of plot development with the ex-wife who left her husband because she didn't want to use him as free money - since she actually did love him - that is too much?
No, fuck that. Go back and fix it.
What did you expect from this shitty comic.
Just wait, in about 20 seconds weebs will start coming out of the woodwork braying
>expecting good plot from anime/manga? What are you, gay?
>Pro america would be america going above and beyond the call of duty, not only supplying help that was requested, but better aid and more of it, in addition to more competent execution
What? That has nothing to do with being Pro-America. It is pro-America because America is officially on the side of the protagonists. That's all it needs.
>Maybe it's not anti-america, but america is just this dude in the sidelines.
So pro-America means Americans needs to be the main characters, is that it?
That's just pathetic even by internet standards.
No, it doesn't. to be pro or anti america, its message about america would have to go beyond the scope of the story.
Protagonist or not is totally inside the scope of the story.
>The sad thing is that Itami married her because he didn't mind feeding his middle school friend, but he never loved her. Or rather, it wasn't a big deal to him.
The novels deliberately made the deal between them ambiguous. Let's just say his ex-wife underestimated him. And the conclusion of the first series of novels asked interesting questions on what he feels about her.
>Or rather, it wasn't a big deal to him.
Not exactly - we know Itami is a slacker and has an odd personality. He just doesn't really share everything about his life. His coworkers didn't even know he was a Ranger or JSF trained.
He probably thought there wasn't any downside to marrying her. Whether or not he "loved" her? Who knows. Maybe he loved her as a sister, or maybe he liked her and we don't know how Itami deals with romance. He doesn't exactly act normal. Maybe he is just as much of an awkward Otaku as she is and can't express himself.
Nobody just gives up a bunch of their money for a wife who literally says she is only using you for money.
From what I saw, he didn't treat dangerous assignments like a big deal, and Risa divorced him because she was guilty.
I wonder if Itami's mommy's issues were a factor in their relationship.
>Nobody just gives up a bunch of their money for a wife who literally says she is only using you for money.
Not to mention giving her money after they are divorced, and even hiding his gift by writing "alimony" on the envelope. That isn't how you give alimony. Giving cash in an envelope is how Japanese HUSBANDS give their salaries to their WIVES.
Pina ends up on the throne, due to both her brothers' stupidity and some maneuvering by her father as well.
All she wanted was to be leader of her knights and in control of BL doujin translations and distribution.
At least marrying Itami guarantees first-come access to the latest BL works.
I think being exposed to an AH-1 Cobra turning hundreds of men into minced meat made her a better person.
This might be it.
Though now that I think about it, Risa should have been the ideal wife for him.
>I think being exposed to an AH-1 Cobra turning hundreds of men into minced meat made her a better person.
Pina isn't a bad person, she is just patriotic and take her role as princess seriously. She does what's best for the Empire, which doesn't always make her do things that are considered right or wrong, just different. As a Royal she really just wants to do her duty and serve the nation. Allying with Japan is just a necessary thing.
I think that was the WN end where
she lives,if I'm remembering the WN readers' posts correctly.
I never understood why they tamed down the show so much. Now I'm not necessarily asking for manga level violence and gore, but at least reasonable enough.
I was pretty pissed with the sanitized defense of the city, and all the panning shots and cuts to avoid any possible display of gore. And Rory's mostly bloodless disabling rather than straight up execution.
I've warmed up to the anime design. Just barely. And only because they bothered to take her from the manga, when she didn't originally exist at all.
The way I see it, manga Myuute is more like a raptor or eagle in design, while anime Myuute is like a pet cockatiel.
I expected a woman among bandits to be raped. I don't know why i thought that.
Yeah, she's just used to being top dog of the Empire.
[spoiler-]Poor Tyuule, she deserved to be rehabilitated by Furuta's daikon.
That's pretty much it. I mean, Overlord got away with crushing hearts and squashed eyeballs on screen.
When you said cockatiel I imagined her with a gigantic mohawk.
I'm sure if she gets sufficiently flustered she could attempt a rendition of a mohawk and look adorable in the process.
As to women among bandits, remember that those particular bandits were survivors of the former armies that attempted to attack the JSDF. So at the very least, they're capable of holding their own (if not somewhat willing to join them as they all abandoned their dead leaders rather than risk getting raped and killed). In addition, they'd at least have some authority and say over who they get to fuck.
Not to mention, many of the bandits were already raiding convoys and sating themselves.
Makes sense. Plus Myuute was a mage, she probably had protection by the bandit leaders since she would count as artillery or something.
Arnus Town sounds incredibly comfy, what with all the demihumans and whatnot.
She served as both anti-arrow and attack reflection with her magic wind capabilities. Probably also able to scout based on windflow.
Pretty damn useful for sieges, as she'd be able to protect the main attack group from a hail of arrows. Of course, I doubt her wind capabilities would have allowed her to stop a hail of bullets. At most, maybe divert their flight paths, but with many of them far heavier than arrows, the most she could have probably done is just focusing on diverting them away from herself. She definitely couldn't alter the wind enough to even affect the helicopters. But as we see, she came out of it completely intact. Just extremely worn out (the other girls had wrapped or stick-on bandages).
>Well, I hope our heroes of so-called "justice" are proud of what they've done since this is the result.
What are you talking about? This is the equivalent of Mexican Drug Lords fighting each other, it is outside the responsibility of JSDF.
>people dismiss Gate as JSDF propaganda
Because people thinks that's a /pol/ thing and not an /any old Godzilla film, like, ever/ thing, that's why.
It's like watching an old Hollywood "war" comedy, like Operation Petticoat
(most underage b& at /a/ hasn't watched it)
, and genuinely believing it represents an accurate view of the political situation of the US Navy in th3 1940's.
Read the manga.
The anime is a steam of hot, smelly shit.
Don't read the manga either, it too is dogshit. The smooshy kind that gets into every crevice of your sneakers and can only be fully removed with a nuclear strike.
It's not shit though. The typesetting is awful, but I blame the translators.
I'm a fan of the art and story and characters.
I like some of the characters too. The art is generally competent but rarely "good"--notable exception being the one spread where the choppers fly in blasting Wagner, that was pretty good.
The plot meanders. There's no sense of tension or drama. The dialogue is cringe-inducing. The setting is cool, but totally wasted. Attempts by the writer to introduce a sense of geopolitics turn out to be ham-fisted.
I explain Gate to people as "Japanese Tom Clancy tries to write a manga". Only it's not good "Red October" Tom Clancy, it's late-career Tom Clancy when all of his shit was ghost written by retards.
>bad luck with men, first boyfriend was stealed by her best friend, the second and third died at some point
>has a pessimistic view of life and inferiority
>has to accept that she has to use her body to save her town
Yeah I am gonna be straight and say you are full of bullshit.
When she went back to her village she nearly took her ex BF back after he propositioned her, and when she noticed that she was much harder on herself than other people, she also realised it was because she wanted to be punished for the things she did.
Yao is a good girl, but she's definitely a masochistic slut.
>Yao is a cute dark elf who only want Itami to dick her
Actually she just wants to belong. Her own people didn't want her and she really think very lowly of herself. Being jinxed makes her have very low self esteem, and that was why she agreed to enslave herself.
>no one's ripped the first OST volume yet
No, I'm not talking about the BD soundtrack.
Anyone who brings up Tom Clancy in a GATE thread is really some shitposter who don't know what he's talking about. This includes buzzwords as well
>art is generally competent but rarely good
Nice set of buzzwords you got there, nerd.
>Not that guy, but I don't like victimization of females.
Everyone is a victim. Women might be raped and THEN killed, but the men are killed immediately in the same position. So the end result is the same for both.
Because the WN was supposedly even more nationalistic than the LN.
I would have preferred the manga at least take the middle road; a bit of the WN, a bit of the LN, and show that the JSDF was able to improve the life of even one who suffered so much.
I think this image is from the LN. Could be wrong. I forget why she isn't wearing the usual slave gear or less.
I wish we got more dark elves opting to come to Alnus and more hilarious BDSM comments.
>At least the men get to die without being defiled.
Everyone is defiled. Don't assume the men get off easily just because you think men being killed isn't a big deal. We are culturally trained to think male lives are worth less than the females. At some point that had to stop.
>Does Delilah survive getting shot? Did she book up with anyone?
There were two named bunnygirls in the story. Only one of them was allowed to have a happy ending. You find out which one.
vows to take care of him for as long as she lives in penitence of what she's done.
she makes a comment about how surprisingly aggressive he is at night. Or something along those lines.
And in the end,
she goes with him back across the GATE. No idea if either of them return when the Gate reopens.
I just want a tribe of Amazons with zero shame waltzing into Alnus and confusing the hell out of the JSDF when they request forming an alliance of sorts for one reason or another.
The one who's making the journey out for the first time in order to try and prove she's a grown woman.
Though the older and experienced one would be equally tempting if she offered a romp.
>tfw I got a 3 day ban for posting this picture with spoiler while the first cour was airing
>messy long hair
Aw shit I'm gonna get sacrificed
I miss this summer's threads sometimes.
The "Persia scratched Itami" one was a wild ride.
>read chapter 35 while hammered as fuck
>somehow wrongly assume the chapter's number is her age because my moon is shit and post about it
>it ends up on that pic
I don't get the green kanji.
>top is her line about "ara ara, do I really look like a child?"
>she goes "Kya~ kya~" moe
>and then gets mad that what he did (green kanji) is not what she wanted (the D)
I think it was January.
You know it
Didn't the last episode annouce the split cours with a "January 6" ad? I don't remember.
Hey that means I get to do my weekly Gate manga dumps again soon. Sweet.
This land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind.
Ah yes please continue doing God's work dumpanon
I've lost my souls too many times to fall for that one again.
>Watch the first half of the anime
>Tuka is a useless character who does jack shit except for constantly denying her father's death
>JSDF STRONK RARR ALL OTHER COUNTRIES ARE SHIT
>Almost all women consider offering up their bodies at one point or another
>Itami is the only relevant male character
>Continue on with manga, having been told that these problems go away
>mfw they become even worse
That said, the whole transition from web novel to regular novel to anime reminds me of The Martian in a way.
>Almost all women consider offering up their bodies at one point or another
I assure you 99% of all girls past puberty have thought about it at least once, although it probably took the form of a passing fantasy for most of them or at most material.
Even if I were a girl (which I am not) I'm not stupid enough to claim it out of the blue on /a/
My elder sister had a rape fetish for a few years
Please, you have to be in london. I'm begging you. Please be in london.
>Almost all women consider offering up their bodies at one point or another
Please try to remember the era and society they're living in dufuss. They're living in a time and society where Women have few if any rights and the only way most of them can get through life is to offer up their bodies as payment sometimes.
It's /fit/, what the fuck do you expect.
>for some reason you are a childhood friend of Itami and you joined him in the last moment. But after that you meet your fantasy girl and he presents you like Kurata with Persian, you fortunetaly like her. Name who is your girl.
Btw I am taking Yao first.
>>carbs are literally hitler
>What the fuck
I was shocked when I first heard that. Because if a health-nut try to avoid carbs, avoid fats, AND avoid meat, you basically have nearly nothing left to eat.
Taking the first cour into account, terribly.
My warfu being moefied hurts my soul.
Let this be a lesson to you: /a/ cannot handle any review more complicated than "it's shit" or "it's god-tier".
I'd say the Tom Clancy comparison is spot-on. It's entertaining, you just need to turn off your brain as soon as the bullshit starts.
>/a/ cannot handle any review more complicated than "it's shit" or "it's god-tier".
As a whole, sure, but I've definitely seen some relatively complex reviews / analyses with similarly complex rebuttals.
Yes, even for shitposting bait like Fate and Index.
No, she had some serious FatalPulse tier rape fantasies. This was back when she was a teenager of course, when she had multiple Edward Cullen tier OCs, one of which was named
Found it. Dwarves. You see them a few times later too.
I really like how he draws his monstergirls. A bit more realistic I guess.
Nah, they got that part right. A modern military with modern weapons would easily win against a Rome-like empire with some magic here and there.
The part where they fucked it up was when it made out all nations other than Japan as evil and greedy, while the honoraburu nihon just want grorious independence from the greedy evil nations like America.
Since it's so far not amounted to anything I just pretend most of the other nations respectfully listened to Japan's demands to explore first, and everyone signed a treaty to allow other nations to go in eventually.
But I know that's not happening and it'll probably end with Japan ruling or allied with the other world and cutting off all ties to the other nations.
I just want American nerds to go so I can self-insert as them, okay?

Rory is frustrated before battle.
(SFX are slut noises)
Kuribayashi(?): this is kind of bad, right?
Itami: Lelei, what should we do?
Lelei: For now, we watch.
Itami: Well, I suppose it's fine (maybe not for Tuka though...)
Saturated fats are fine. The big cause of fat is when energy goes into the liver and stays unused. Sugar and Carbs are the big killers here because they digest quickly, they digest nearly 100% no matter what, and they overwhelm the liver if not used right away. Counting calories is all about counting carbs. Try to nail the right amount, not too much that it fattens up and not too little that you wear out.
Fat has a huge energy load but is processed slowly. You can't exercise well with fat energy, and too much will just come out the other end. It is important for the overall "full" feeling to keep you going longer between meals.
There are amino acids your body can NOT produce but still need for healthy function. The only source is protein. Your body is limited on how much protein it can process, and too much gives awful gas. It can be used for energy in a pinch, but you DON'T want this when bulking because your body has a limited intake.
TLDR: Eat fat. Eat protein. Eat nutrients. Finish it up with enough carbs to keep going.
WHERE'S THE DUCK?! HERE, DUCKY-DUCKY-DUCKY!
