While I would ordinarily agree with you that it's a sexist cliche, in this case there has been a clear link between Moura's mecha form and Sogo's desire to protect Felia and this is just an extension of that. So if anything the sexist cliche was present from the very start since Moura couldn't do shit if it wasn't for Sogo.

I don't mind the show, it established itself as being kinda silly and cartoony physics like some of those old 80s mecha anime despite the killing. The plot isn't anything special but it's entertaining and I like the robots.

I may lose interest in it and postpone watching it then never watching the rest at all.
The only show i remember watching to completion and hating it was A/Z .
