>[HorribleSubs] Utawarerumono - Itsuwari no Kamen - 09 [720p].mkv
This is the only Utawarerumomo thread in the catalog right now
Did I just missed the good one or something?
I'm pretty sure im wrong, but the merchant really looks like Oboro in disguise
Aruru filled up properly.
>10 year old married couple
>having a fight like that
I wish my parents fought like that.
When will he fucking marry her already?
tfw aruru will never hold your dick like that
Aruru got a weird taste for bug looking candy.
>yfw Ukon wins the Haku-bowl.
That tongue I just want to lick.
It's amazing how they made this entire episode anime original. Kamyu was supposed to mistake Haku for Hakuoro and they made Aruruu and Kamyu just as retarded.
AND no foot rub surprise.
Oh hey, he's the same race as Mikazuchi.
Thanks anon. I actually looking for a gif of this part because it's fucking hilarious..
At first I thought the old man was Mikazuchi's father or something cuz they have same ears.
When is Nekone going to get an episode? I need my Nekone fix.
>Honestly not been paying too close attention while watching.
>Didn't watch first series.
>Lots of cute girls. Cool
>I think I sort of like the DFC tomboy. Cute, and a little different than the others.
>It wasn't even a reveal, per se. I just didn't notice.
>Time to pack it up.
I'm the only one who thought he was a girl, right?
Anzu become Haku's official waifu.
Nekone become his imouto.
Kuon got mad and decide to bring along her army to crush Haku.
Really, I demand a happy ending for the third game. I don't know if aquaplus understand this but I have suffered enough.
I like her nanodesu.
Because she's not saying nanodesuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~ like this brat. It's so fake that I want to puke.
50% bath scenes, 40% fujoshit jokes, 9% friendship is magic, 1% plot
Is it always going to be like this?
Why did it have to be them?
Why is Atui such a whore?
Everyone has been slaughtered, the village has been burned.
Otoi's wife could have been raped before killed.
I-I wasn't prepared for this scene. ;_;
They're both girls right?
Where's my stitch, /a/?
Aruru the best
>finally get around to beginning the original series
>character from the only two episodes I watched shows up immediately
Is the series waiting for me to catch up so it can begin the actual plot?
No, there were two footrub scenes.
The initial where Haku gets massaged by twins but they leave and Kuon continues and Haku gets revenge by rubbing her feet but it apparentely feels really good and she moans like in heat.
Then again when Kamyu and Aruruu hide in her room, Kuon comes in ask Haku for foot rubs, and moans like in heat while Aruruu and Kamyu call her lewd.
Sadly not yet. Maybe at the end of episode 11 if we're lucky.
It pretty much is out of order. Haku wasnt supposed to meet Aruruu and Kamyu until after he got his memories back after the Uzurussia war arc. They made the two more retarded in this episode then they were in the game. The most they did to harass Kuon in the game was tell others embarrassing stories and surprising her when getting foot rub.
Same with the boat with Ukon and dekoponpo. I'm positive that wasnt until after he at least gets the twins from the emperor.
Not surprised ranking sub 1000 on amazon now. Whitefox is trying to shove all the SOL heavy stuff in the first cour.
The second cour better be fucking amazing.
Does the Emperor or to an extent, Haku, treat the demihumans as people, or just instruments/obstruction for his plan, because why invade Tuskuru? Can they just as the angel people for permission to study the ancient ruins? Maybe they weigh the human lives more than the demihuman so they would want to lead armies to one another.
Also, did Hakuoro unite all the countries in the Japan mainland?
They both see them as human beings. Emperor is a really cool guy but he's doing everything basically just to save his wife and child that got jellified.
He did ask Tuskuru btw and they said no because it's suspicious and they dont want another country occupying land and their place where Hakuoro might reside.
Haku and Emperor see demis as people. He's not a bad guy, but he needs what's underneath Tuskuru to save humanity. He's willing to risk war to get it.
Tuskur doesn't want to give it up, because "Fuck you, you're not digging our shit up" and other such things.
Something like that
>Aruru appears to be small-chested
>Suddenly huge tits during bath scene
That can't right. Say it isn't so. Mai grown-up Aruru is still small, r-right?
Emperor saw them as tools though don't know what these faggots are saying.
He already lost faith in them when at one point the demi humans tried to force him to give more foods from the hidden laboratory after he hid himself in the underground for 200 years. He just said fuck it and conquer them himself thus founded the Yamato country.
Well he's using them sure but I assume the question is that he hates them or something. He doesnt, he views them as people.
Emperor is a human from a time that is in our future, so he's even from a more advanced time than us technologically speaking.
Furry people were basically ancient tribes.
After the apocalypse he went out searching for other human survivors only to find nothing but the demis. He then taught them economics, politics, agriculture and other convenient shits. At one point though he realizes the demi couldn't be a replacement for his fellow humans so he went back to the underground lab to research way to undo the curse. After like 200 years he hit dead end and decided to get some fresh air from above ground. There he saw the demis already making their own human-like communities but he also disappointed that they also caught human's greed. The demis think of him as a god but tried to exploit him even further with dirty tactics. Emperor get fed up and he decides to bring them under his own control. Not really sure about the food part.
Oh, he's just butthurt that they are exactly like humans than in terms of emotions and ambition.
I hope that's a point that gets thrown in Hakuoro's face.
Or it probably was after the first game. He didnt change crap except indulge his revenge fantasy.
To be fair, they wished for strong bodies, if hakuoro turned them into demihumans nobody would care that much. He went for the slime just because he was mad.
In the other hand they were lucky, if some of the guys wished in some moment for humanity dead in some way, like that guy that though that the scientists that sealed his exit should die and hakuoru granted the wish, they were fucked.
When the anime crashed in Amazon rankings I think was when they announced the release date for the third game.
I think that has something to do with it. I found this episode the most disappointing so far. Waiting for the plot to start, and I imagine most others are too.
It's also being sold as two boxes, so it's really expensive. Selling close to 3000 for each of the 2 boxes is fine in of itself.
I hope Suara's second OP for the second cour is really good.
I'm very happy the WA2 girls were the top 2, I really hope that they make figs for both.
It's really surprising that they never did any figs for them when it was their premier IP for several years.
if WA2 girls didnt get figs after the anime aired recently, I dont know when.
More of an incentive to get utaware figures out since there is an anime going on and the last game comes out next year.
How I interpreted it was Hakuoro the human made a wish on the fossil to fuck them over.
Turning them into to slimes was his schadenfreude way of saying he's granting their wish.
They are still alive so they can be turned back to humans if hakuoro wants (or not? i dont remember if hakuoru can use his god powers like that without someone making a wish... but well we have Haku for that anyway).
The original WA girls got their figs more than a year after the anime. It would make sense to have Utaware stuff now, but if they're going by fan popularity, it would be best for them to pump out more WA2 merch.
But that's just what the polls say, there's no reason why you can't capitalize on both. It's not like creating more merchandise for 2 popular IPs is a bad thing.
Yes, Hakuoro cannot grant wishes on his own, he needs someone to say some words that he can interpret however the fuck he feels.
That's the reason he needed Eruru to form a contract to save himself.
Im pretty sure that at that moment the 2 parts were still 1 (like in the end of the game). It was stated at some point that they become 2 for being too much time sealed or something like that if i remember correctly.
And yeah, they actually wanted a body that could survive in the exterior or even more if you go for the mechas and the masks, he just simply granted it in that way because he was mad.
That's the problem with advanced survivors, they always have over-optimistic perspectives and handout stuff like candy. Sometimes, you have to put a little fear into the primitives.
>That's the reason he needed Eruru to form a contract to save himself.
I still dont get the reason in this, he cant die anyway so why? or he wanted to get more time out of the seal?
He can't heal himself, he had to kind of be fucked up and die again for awhile if he just let himself stay like that. Combine that with how he just woke up right then, he needs to reach out to survive.
Maybe they can die, I don't know, they'll probably come back again in some form at least.
Maybe that wing girl finally decided the way to kill them was to attack when they're weak, after having just awoken. Probably wouldn't have been that easy, but his plea to keep going was earnest because he wanted to keep going for now.
>Kamyu growing up to frantically search for her ward like Munto did
made me smile.
>TFW your daugteru is all growed up
I need a rocking chair and a nap
Yeah, they might as well be late teens or early 20's girls. What are some of the other beneifts of the demihumans in this series? I seem to remember everyone apparently has super strength and ridiculous endurance if my memory is right, since I remember Hakuro getting exhausted early in the VN much like Haku did. Anything else?
Maybe they could, in the first game was implied before the retcon. But well i dont think that the god can be killed, he just wanted to fuse with hakuoru because his body was useless in that state (that and hokuoro wish for life), in the game hakuoro part is called the "shell" and after the seal the body goes to hakuoro half and the other have to take other bodies so i dont think that a actual body is that necessary for his life, is more that he cant do things without one.
Didnt that was more related to the race? see evenkurga and bunies for examples
Yes, they aired 8 and 9 out of order and put them in cour 1.
And I presume it wasnt followed up on because he cant really talk to other people about it.
I wish they ended the conversation at least. He doesnt know he's the emperor yet anyway.
Is it just more does the royal court here look strikingly similar to the one royal court of that one super insane king guy south of Tuskuru in the last season?
>silly SoL shenanigans
>everyone in the village is fucking dead
>they all died off-screen
>and probably died in various horrible ways
This is show really threw me through a loop.
Anyone else who read the game sorta pissed that
Kuon just fucked right off when Haku didn't come home? I thought her comrades meant something more to her. Didn't she want to protect them by willingly invading her own country?
I remember in the original, they had stones that would glow when put in water.
It was never explained, but my headcanon is that the stone is actually nano-machine created crystal that runs cold fusion on hydrogen.
Oh god, I want to smother my face in her Camus.
Why is she so hot?
this show fucking sucks. how come mc hasn't even titty fucked those kitty titties yet?
Nothing but fuji bullshit with homo comics.
why do japs hate straight sex so much?
lesbo shit? check
gay comics? check
Hugging of man and woman/catgirl? EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH????
This country deserves to be taken over by curry niggers and whites if they hate straight sex so much.
>implying posting at 7 AM, the first thing you do when you wake up, is any better
let's just take a moment to admire Kamyu's new hat
In this most recent episode of the anime she does give a look to Haku when Aruruw and Kamyu ask her to come home. I guess it was always Haku 100%. At least I hope she lets go and accepts what happened without holding resentment or anger in her heart.
1 ハクオロ 16683
2 ハク 10806
3 オシュトル 3791
4 アロウン 3510
5 武也 1342
The twitter says that Hakuoro is 1st. That`s a bit weird. Before they made the results invisible Hakuoro was about 10th in my memory.
>Wonder if got vote spammed.
of course it got vote spammed. This things always get vote spammed beacause the only people who vote are the people who are autistic enough to care who the best imaginary people are
I saw the tweet about top 3 firstly. The 1-9th version was then quote from a forum.
Weird how twitter feed is completely quiet about it. Keep seeing results for the girls.
It's kind of dumb that they didnt split between girls and boys polls. I wonder where all those touma votes would have gone if they picked a guy.
hmm, you're poll also says Nov 27.
Hopefully aquaplus posts the results. Now I'm sketchy about both results.
Eruruu was there in the top 5 for girls and this akari chick comes out of nowhere.
i want to
You would of had fun watching the first season anon.
>Meanwhile, Hakuoro is literally flat past episode 3.
Yes, I admit Haku got a boost in chara development in the second half, more than Hakuoro, but it is unfair to say hakuoro stayed flat all the time.
>always trying to overcome challenges while struggling with his lost identity, afraid that his past was horrible and it might put his country in trouble, and when he transformed into a monster he was unsure about himself and everything
>tfw shipping these two.
Hope you bought Tears to Tiara II and Dungeon Travelers 2 to support Atlus' Aquaplus localizations.
Actually same anon as >>134117306 just saw gameplay for tears which would you recomend assuming I like both genre's as long as the srpg doesn't go full disgaea lolsorandum and grinding everywhere?
Yeah, it's a solid SRPG. There's practically no grinding and you're actually punished for being overleveled, which is a pain.
It's very lengthy and tiring to play though. I'm not really a big fan of SRPGs anyway.
Bought Dungeon Travelers 2. I'd get False Faces if Atlus brought it over.
>Kuon wants fed
>eat her favorites yourself
haku you glorious bastard
Sigh... I miss Maroro.
Sure, having token-cameo-from-the-previous-series-of-the-week and/or token-new-pseudo-harem-member arrive, annoy Kuon, have at least one token bath scene where we talk about breast sizes *again*, etc... yeah that's fun I guess and it's not like there's anything wrong with a pseudo-harem catgirl series full of moe and bath scenes. A show that has no greater aspirations than to be an ecchi moe catgirl pseudo-harem could still be a beautiful thing.
But geez, if that's what this show is supposed to be the creators did waaaay too good of a job introducing the rest of the world, having original and dynamic protagonists (at first, anyways), and hinting at dramatic future plots in the first couple episodes only to throw it out the window and do nothing but catgirl moe and bath scenes.
When are we going to see Haku put his engineering and math skills to work, instead of getting flustered by Kuon's really dumb problems or wandering around town being a typical bored pushover male protagonist who can't stand to not spend all his money on candy for the crying harem-flavour of the week?
What happened to the mature Kuon who was confident of her place in the world, used her skills to help people, etc? It's like she's regressed in age and personality into a standard anime high school girl who can't solve any of her own problems and has no tangible skills except following the male protagonist around.
And fucking Mamoro man. They introduced a character who was a genuine wizard, who casts his magic via manic dancing, and then we never saw him again. Why?! I'm supposed to see that and not want more of it? I'm supposed to care more about Haku somehow vaguely judging an entire country's military strength and aspersions out of thin air based upon how its two immature little girl messengers like it when he buys candy... than I would about seeing Haku go with Mamoro back to Yamoto Dance-Magic Academy?!
Yeah, it's really more of a slow-paced visual novel than SRPG, but the SRPG sections are very lengthy as well. I put it down halfway through and haven't gotten around to finishing it.
If you look at the trophy % numbers, 50% of people dropped it at stage 5, 25% people dropped it halfway through, and only 14% finished all 45 stages.
Just watched it and it felt as if I'd missed an episode or two. Last thing I saw was Haku meeting the Emperor, suddenly a non sequitur switch to more Kuon family antics with no mention of last episode's cliffhanger whatsoever.
>Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?
>TIME FOR MOTHERING!
Of course not
What fetish would Ukon be serving by doing his thing?
The latter sounds great, I want to nip that tail of hers and squeeze it.
>Kuu-chan has become a deviant!
Thank God Tuskuru has not been infected by the fujoshi plague
>overhear sisters doing lewd things
>shota being a spaz
>Haku giving zero fucks
I would give Kuon a fuck, if you know what I mean
Okay I watched it since first episode, but please explain me why the fuck everyone is all over this guy's dick like if he was fucking MacGyver or something, because it makes absolutely zero sense to me.
Everyone will become a fujo soon. Male friendship is irresistible.
No since no one remembers the old human looks like, they just assumed Haku is one of the many races out there. Notice that the oni girl also doesn't have any distinctive trait other than their horn.
He looks more like Oshutoru than Hakuoro.
For the old game people, I think it's about similar aura and not looks. Whether this is due to genetics of old humans to Demi humans or if Haku is similar to hakuoro in personality is unknown.
He gives a fuck about
his brother but doesn't show it. He also cared that Kuon walked out of his life but not enough to jeopardize the choice he made. Kinda sad for Kuon that he doesn't love her and Kuon is pining over him.
Good thing nothing bad will happen because of that. Kuon handled that case quite maturely and with no hard feelings.
>Show pander fujos too much.
>Ukohaku is the most popular utawarerumono false mask ship in pixiv.
yfw these two probably get more doujins.
that one was just a joke, they are disappointed in the end because they planned to reveal themselves as girls and say "gotcha!", but since he didn't press them to prove it, so they could never reveal the pointe and were to awkward to clear it up.
Yeah, i choose to believe that one.
Kuon has to serious the fuck up soon, they wanted he home for a reason most likely. Kuon is fine, she just needs to lick her wounds a bit. The last time we saw her she was in an okay place.
> I can't tell if being sarcastic.
Kuon will likely play a role in the next game so maybe she will aid Oshutoru into
becoming emperor and settling the civil war.
>Kuon will likely play a role in the next game so maybe she will aid Oshutoru into
becoming emperor and settling the civil war.
Cant tell if sarcasm. Bitch was going crazy at the end of false mask and def has a grudge against Oshutoru. She just didnt slap "Oshutoru" in front of everyone because bad optics. That and Yamato wants to war with her country and Yamato isnt so much in a civil war as there are pieces around and Haku has to put them back together.
So you guys think Kuon will still be salty about Haku? I thought she would be more mature about it.
Kuon did go through a rough patch but I got the impression that it was on its way to be over.
We know she's going to be pissed, this is a lead in to the next game, there's going to be a lot of drama and stuff
She hates the man who let Haku die, this is going to be a war, Haku can't back down either since he's carrying some peoples wills on his back, shit is going to go down that forces those two and their nations to fight.
This means something in particular, because we've gotten to know both of them now. There is no good or bad here, there is only tragedy. Its going to be like that bunny Hitler arc in the last game in some ways.
>25 against 11, with many of those 11 being under-leveled due to unit use limits
These goddamn slimes. No good choke points and their movement is crazy high so you can't bait-and-switch. I'm reduced to grinding exp between retries.
Fucking Hard 3. I need one of Kuon's stun grenades.
I did the positioning thing with Eruruw in the middle and everybody who can talk surrounding them, positioning them at an edge of the map.
The important thing is that they will go after Hakuoro. Exposing him and moving him away at the right time is helpful.
Shit. If Haku has a life span that can span into millenia now, that does not bode well for his survival chances next game.
I hope they clarify how long emperor lived. Hope he fucks Kuon somehow.
The baby from Urotori OVA is going to be a character in the third game.
Wonder if she'll be connected to Urotori in anyway or just a random Tuskuru citizen not connected to first game cast.
The baby was a boy wasn't it? It was the child of rival chiefdoms and maybe in the third game he's the leader of the united clans that fight for Tuskur against Yamato, or something.
So. I started reading Utawarerumono recently (the first one; still studying me some of that Japanese, so I can eventually read numero dos. Ah, the long journey of learning a language...why must you be so distant?) and, in literally the first few moments of the game, I was struck with an utterly eerie sensation.
The main character sounded exactly like Emiya Kiritsugu.
This is what a normal person would think: "Huh. What an uncanny resemblance. Perchance they have the same voice actor? I shall peruse the glorious tome of myanimelist.com and discover the veracity of this statement."
What I thought: "Dude. This guy's lost his memory. Wait! Could it be he's actually Kiritsugu?!?"
Of course not, you stupid reader. Type-Moon didn't make this, you know. There's no way they tossed Kiritsugu into a kemonomimi adventure!
"But what if they did," whispered the villainous voice in my head. "What would this story be like if Kiritsugu was the main character?"
By the time I realized this was an utter waste of time, it was too late. I had already adopted the belief that the MC was secretly Kiritsugu, which utterly changed pretty much every single scene.
Especially the slice of life ones. Imagining Kiritsugu in all these cases is actually strangely tense, even though there's no reason for it to be.
"Sorry, Hakuoro. The governor takes whatever he wants, and we can't stop him."
Each time, even though I know Hakuoro's going to say something generally pleasant, some dark part of me thinks/hopes for Kiritsugu's answer: then we'll just have to kill him.
I guess I should have buffed defense more. It might be fine if I could get a solid line with only one attacking slime per person. But even then, Eruruu's turn rate is probably too slow.
Oh, sweet. Right after this, the slimes decided to stop cluster instead of circling around to attack the back.
I might end up winning by AI failure.
This is the first time I tried moved up and left instead of the other directions. Might work out.
Glorious victory. Now for slime clones.
It's been ages since I watched the series, but pic related
You have no sense for drama
Maybe the child is someone we already know from the second game, and they're on the Yamato side. Could even be one of the main characters.
Which will mean something during the war against Tuskur, when they have to fight against Urto.
One of my favorite things in this setting is that slimes are the most terrifying and powerful monsters in the series (barring Godzillas, obviously) instead of level 1 scrubs. Really cool idea to switch it up like that.
If they're going to bring back such a minor character they better show Kuuya has gotten better and she has the mind of at least a child. I was so pissed when I heard she was completely left out of the second game.
Let's put things in perspective.
The typical life expectancy is around 50 years.
Some of the oldest people live at most 200 years.
The emperor is probably around 40 years old when Hakuoro cursed everyone.
After that, he spent some time in the facility.
Then he came out, only to discover the animal people. He taught them a bunch of basic stuff like language, arithmetic, agriculture, and hunting.
Then he went back into the facility and stayed there for 200 years.
Without any leads, he came out again to find other labs. To his surprise, the animal people had built countries for themselves. The emperor sought to have them help with excavations and whatnot.
He gave them food and technology in exchange for their service. But they were greedy, and sought to monopolize his gifts. They would sometimes even steal from him and accidentally break his tools.
Enraged, he threw away whatever feelings he had for them. Using his tech, he rallied the animal people and built himself an army, getting rid of anyone in his path.
That's when Yamato was first founded. Several hundred years passed, and now we have the present-day characters.
>Anime starts to get interesting with the previous 2 episodes
>Then it goes back to being about baths and cute girls
>WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE ME!
What the hell woman why should he have to save you
Anyone know when us english speakers are gonna get the second game? I know it'll get here eventually, but I wanna know how long it'll take. Either fan translations, official stuff, whatever
Atlus released a previous aquaplus game, so they'll probably release it 1/2 years from right now. That's usually how long it takes for other jap stuff to get an english version.
She was sort of a naked, mindless killing machine who couldn't control her god powers until Oboro calmed her down. She cries and wonders why it hurts so much and why is she suffering. I hope she doesn't nurse that hostility.
PSX is this weekend, I hope Atlus announces something there.
Whitefox fucked up the Kamyu and Aruruu meeting.
They did do good with the boat one though. Liked it better than the game one.
How come Alruis-san just left without saying anything?
And it looks like >>134137900 was the final hard battle. So I finally cleared Hard 3. It's doable but a chore. Kills the story pacing.
Now to slowly slug through 2600 Utawarerumono pixiv images. 100 pages down, dozens to go. Wish I had an image to do the ending justice.
Episode 6 won me over with the soundtrack. Ironically, one of the tracks was from the first game.
Karura at full tech and a bit of luck with turn order. She solo'd him and healed with level ups.
Plus I had 780 BP left on Hakuoro that I didn't use. Head it made the final boss harder.
I think when I played years ago it was the same. Carrier is a beast.
Reached the end of the pixiv stuff. Didn't find anything spectacular. That said:
Old series is old.
Don't talk about Kuu as if she's a monster.
Left or right?
