I mean that every anime now is a K-ON clone.
4 cute high school girls having fun and blah blah blah.
There's no creativity, no content, these shows are shallow and are nothing more than otaku pandering.
>every anime now is a K-ON clone
>azumanga came out after K-on
You're posting some serious bullshit anons.
Maria the Virgin Witch. Great little show, would recommend.
if the cgi is like the 3d from guilty gear there's no fucking problem
CGI can be done right, it just almost never is.
I honestly hated how both of these look, and have yet to see cgi in anime/ cgi anime that looked well done and not a shitty video game. Even the miku hologram looks like shit. Nips cant into cgi and need to stop trying.
Pretty much this. Most anime will be done in, live 2d or cgi (which after watching Etotama my fears have been quelled a bit).
That said, one trend I've been noticing is really detailed eyes. Gakkou Gurashi is a pretty good example from this year, but another even better example would be Valkyrie Drive. If you haven't taken a good look at the eyes in VD, I suggest you do because they are over designed as shit and it seems more and more anime are doing this. I guess when the most defining feature for talking heads are the hair and eyes, and with hair being less and less exaggerated than it was in the 90's/00's the focus of embellishment has moved to eyes.
No worries, OP. It will look like this.
Original image, for reference.
It's already happening.
I hope they have meticulously hand-painted backgrounds (talented artists able to take time-consuming jobs they enjoy as animators because robots do all of the work for humans in japan's post-scarcity economy).
It's just going to be a slideshow of underage girls wearing poledancing outfits.
