Which video game would you like an anime adaptation of the most?
The Citizen Kane of Anime.
The Witcher maybe? But it'd have to start from books
Ace Combat 5
this is why you should never take numerical rating seriously.
Fallout New Vegas
It should either be about Joshua Graham, Randall Clark or Elijah
It's sad when people say a game is bad just because it's legitimately great and recognized as such.
Metal Gear Rising obviously
and with the same soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RlSgnpLbro
Fuck off, a Cave Story anime would be great.
Also, Yume Nikki.
A spiritual sequel for the heaven and earth trilogy.
Or just an adaptation of either Terranigma or Illusion of Gaia, either of those could make excellent adaptations.
1. Dota1, its still played or not?
3. Metal Gear (any)
>Dota1, its still played or not?
Last i checked not many people still play it
Would be the best shonen released in years if it was adapted.
I'd watch a KS anime even for just the unified art direction because you can tell in that same artwork that each character was drawn by a different person and it's glaring in the game as well.
A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
It works for the intros since once person did all the animation to give it a unified style.
My fucking niggah
I really hope the second game becomes adapted into an anime, only because this is one of the most hype themes in the series
Half-Life, but with everyone as lolis
Honestly, thinking off the top of my head?
Mario Galaxy 2
Resident Evil 4 (was wishing I was replaying this the entire time I was playing TLoU)
Undertale would be fun if it were animated by
His earlier version is a bit more toned down in that regard. For some reason they all have mystic eyes of death perception in the updated image.
Devil May Cry got one, Resident Evil got all kinds of movies (animated and not), Street Fighter has a couple series/OVAS, Phoenix Wright is soon to be adapted...
And yet this masterpiece of visual art and storytelling, based loosely on JAPANESE legends, doesn't have an anime. Fucking idiots, I tell you.
Fire Emblem mystery anime
The mystery is who ends up with whom.
Fuck man. This is the perfect game to recieve an anime. I can not fucking wait.
I went around screaming like a fucking madman who just got a rocketfueled chainsaw for christmas when I saw this reveal
Ha ha it's funny because this would make /a/ happy if it were true
The Rance series is decades of RPGs and two fucking amazing strategy games.
Did you think it was a Visual Novel? It's got some minimal VN aspects and lots of H scenes.
I want a Dark Souls OVA.
Jet Set Radio could be fun as well.
It's a shame the manga was terrible
>Skies of Arcadia
I'm tearing up I forgot the name of this game
He truly is the harem MC that /a/ deserves
Only a Cave Story anime would be good, not a Last of Us anime senpai.
You should start playing then
The early games are painfully
easybut every game improves a lot.
I've lost faith in anime adaptations of video games after I prayed to kami-sama for years for a BlazBlue anime. While I finally got it, I regret ever wishing for it.
yall need to step it up
Besides Katawa Shoujo, Yume Nikki and Cave Story which were already mentioned, I think an Anodyne anime would be cool
As long as it has Catwaifu.
A Monster Hunter anime that focuses on the comfy.
>$300,000 per episode
Instead we got the Megaman that's worth a coke and two sandwiches per episode.
Maybe a remake because of the yuri undertones of the first one.
I'd like one based on the main games instead of an adaptation of a browser spin-off of Frontier.
I actually would like to see a Fallout anime. Throw the lore bible at the nips and let them do what they want, even if it ends up insanely anime (everyone piloting liberty prime-type robots or whatever).
Or a planescape anime.
Or a F.E.A.R. movie. The first game, not the insanely shitty second and third ones. Alma is ripped directly from Ringu anyway.
Fire Emblem (6/7, Awakening or Genealogy are all acceptable)
Final Fantasy VII
Puzzle and Waifus
I'm already getting it. Let's see if it's at least decent. Hope they nail the music, not like the movie.
Which is funny because the game's fanbase was always devoid of shipping wars.
And especially funny once it ends with an OT3 and they all realize how pointless taking sides was.
A lot of good horror games. And sexual activity of course.
/v/ literally wanted the videogame industry to get taken over by normalfags and be flooded with shovelware at one point. They are giant gay, casual dicksucking Nintendofaggots.
Don't you DARE fuck with me, that would be my dream come through.
League of Legends would make a damn good anime. Especially with them stepping up their lore a ton this year.
Rome Total War
>Julia of the Julii must conquer not only Gaul, but the heart of her crush.
>papers please turns into Kaiji
>zawa zawa every time someone brings the MC the papers
story ends with bad ending right before the final day
Diggity damn I don't care for the game but that sounds good.
They retconned a bunch of lore because they didn't realize that fans actually enjoy reading stories about their favorite characters. At one point they actually stopped writing shit about their characters and just put "oh yeah he was looking for ultimate power and he found it, and now he wants to beat people up on the rift"
Now it's changed to Xerath's current lore putting him as a power hungry hand to the pharoah Azir, but still those were incredibly dark times for the lore.
They updated their lore a ton this year. Look it up. They have had several extremely long and well written lore events and have been slowly updating all of the champ lore pages and making them extremely long and detailed. The new lore coming up is very good so far.
With the original music.
First thing that came to mind, as well as the sequel.
Second to come to mind was this, though I'd want it to be a sequel series where Mint and Rue become battle buddies exploring the world, minus any kind of romantic angle between them.
Third was this, who wouldn't want an anime where Jill does a bunch of adorable thieving?
And this'd be the only other one I can think of that I'd like, which is the least likely for any number of reasons.
I just like girls in harem pants.
>12 episodes of economy lessons, mining and spreadsheets
>final episode the MC takes his first transport contract only to be suicide ganked by goons 3 jumps away from Jita
Kirkbride's version of Morrowind done by SHAFT or bones
An anime of The Thousand-Year Door would be pretty neat.
Every thread until its real
every thread until the end of 4chan
Next issue will be full of expository information on how Guts and crew went on to succeed but never triumph, the adventure continues, The End.
Did you enjoy the leisurely cruise?
I can already see it, ten years from now.
>WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GET OFF THE STUPID ELF ISLAND; FUCKING MIURA
Radiant Historia.Would love to see this suave motherfucker animated
whenever I see that pic I have to think of this
No more heroes
What time did you realize that /a/ was flooded by /v/ who continously keeps decreasing the quality of the entire board?
Reminder that 100% of people on /v/ play games.
Not everyone on /a/ plays videogames.
It's obvious where this thread should be. Get the fuck back to >>>/v/
>there will never be a Wild Arms anime adaptation
>there will never be a Wild Arms x Symphogear action rpg
I would very much like to see the best villain of all RPG history become the best villain in all anime history as well.
Advance Wars Days of Ruin
Super Smash Bros Brawl (subspace Emissary) or SSB4
Kingdom Hearts Series
Smt Strange Jorney
Rune Factory 4
Zone of Enders 2
Star Ocean 4 the last hope :^)
What do you guys think?
I know there was that one anime that had potential to be S.T.A.L.K.E.R. the anime - cute grils edition but I forget what it's called and /a/ didn't seem to like it iirc.
>Metal Gear (any)
Kaiserreich with MacArthur as the MC.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R or Metro.
>I wanna see what gets made if someone's given the task
Group of friends create CS clan and try to become the best clan in the world.
Part animation part machinima. Like that South Park episode about Warcraft.
It's nice that we have a board dedicated to your "fun". It's called >>>/v/. I highly suggest that you go there, so that you don't shit up other boards more than necessary.
>Thinking that playing games is the only hobby, or the only way to have fun
Partners in Time was just disappointing as a game, but the story or pacing weren't among its issues. Its quirky elements like Kamek and Baby Bowser, Yoob, the Bowser and Baby Bowser team-up, the run-in with past E. Gadd and its darker elements like the Shroobs in general and the princesses in particular would easily translate well into animated form.
Compared to the rest of the series, kind of. It's short, relatively unimaginative and bros items suck (which is why they went back to bros moves in every subsequent game). It's still a very enjoyable experience.
>Darras runs into bank
>"GETTU DOWNU ONU DE GROUNDARU"
>civilians do that weird arm flailing thing and curl up on the floor
>Chains is the black guy and is portrayed as making monkey noises and eating bananas
>Wolf blows out your speakers whenever they do Japanese-Swedish screeching
>Hoxton faces off against Cloaker
>"WE CALLU DIS A DIFFICULTEE TWEAK"
>Hoxton pulls out a katana and the show's main theme remix of Razormind starts playing as he cuts through American pigs
>"Hwaaaaa, die, filfy wankarus!"
>the rest of his lines are in Engrish
>Jiro shows up as a well-spoken gentleman because he's the only Japanese guy
>Clover and Bonnie have tits bigger than their heads and high pitched Irish-Japanese / Scottish-Japanese accents
>Commissioner Garrett adjusts his glasses and they do the white flashing thing
>end credits are played whilst a cover of Clean Getaway plays
Shit, nigger, I'd watch this.
The Drakengard series really should have been anime rather than games in the first place.
Imagine it now
>sexy, edgy Zero
>happy and soft Two
>sexy, slutty Five
This but actually do the story instead of just random fucking and up-skirts like the hentai did.
A lot of people are just naming off their favorite games. If there was one game I think would actually be able to make a decent anime it'd probably be Xenoblade Chronicles. It's pretty much already a shonen anime, except it actually has an ending instead of continuing on for 800 episodes.
Is this Japanese psycho?
how would a runescape anime work? would they try to do it seriously and make it accurate to the game as a fantasy or more sol where the MC does stupid shit like beg for a gf and gold.
wadanohara and the great blue sea
>Hotline Miami OVA done in the style of California Crisis
I would watch the shit out of that.
>Cloud in Smash
>not in PSABR
we living in bizarro earth or something?
>he must reload a fucking 2 shot shotgun
>nobody tries to stop him.
