Enhancers are the shittiest type. Why would Togashi burden Gon with being an enhancer?
And fuck the "personality" bullshit.
Enhancers have the highest offense, defense and regenerative abilities. It's simple and effective. Also, it's possible that Gon will have Specialization ability with his current situation.
Could Kurapika's secret index finger be a transmuter type ability? On his nen chart it says he can achieve 80% mastery in transmutation (+ with emperor time he'll have100% force/accuracy).
I just find it weird he's never been compelled to take advantage of his potential with learning transmutation. It's his second highest ranked type after conjuration
Gon is an enhancer so the other characters stand out more compared to the MC.
>this is the reply I get
You guys are fucking cancer.
>Only conjurers and manipulators
Never seen any evidence of this, but I could be wrong so if you have a source please do tell. Granted all of them so far have been as far as we know, but there aren't very many and honestly we know very little about the details. You have to admit it makes narrative sense in the current situation.
When will Leorio get a fucking arc? You'd think after Kurapika it'd be Leorio that gets some character development or something, but nooooo, IT'S TIME FOR VIDEO GAMES. Fuck Togashi the dumb fucker.
He's the MC with Pika and Ging in the current arc.
He's probably going to die though.
This isn't his first hiatus, back in the day the meme was "the ca arc will never end".
You are clearly a newfag that just finished the anime and spouts shit like "so he'll never be back amirite xD"
Oh man I'm Togashi, I'm gonna give some insects more plot points and character development in one arc just for them, whilst a main Character is relegated to "Yeah I used my doctor skills whilst you guys were out fighting".
Re-read chapter 83
You're being stubborn. Enhancers are located furthest away from Specialist because they have the absolutely lowest chances of becoming one. The well-rounded enhancer shares the least with the highly niche specialist, so it doesn't make sense for them to switch. According to hunterpedia the possibility of a manipulator or conjurer becoming a specialist is 1%. That means the possibility of an enhancer is an optimistic 0.4%, assuming that specialist potential is proportional to optimum mastery. Besides, Togashi isn't the type of writer that would give his main character an OP special snowflake move.
Specialist seems to be the most common type for nen type changes. That said, I think it's more likely he'd get a different nen type, not enhancer or specialist. I do think he'll get it back though just because otherwise he's pretty much helpless.
That was his aura, which everyone has. Gon was complaining about not being able to see it.
I made the same mistake.
That being said, Gon obviously will be getting his powers back, can't really see any other way of keeping him relevant.
Nen is more or less the ability to enhance and control aura though. I'm guessing this means he still has the potential for nen and he is still producing a fair amount, just that he has lost the ability to control it which I think could be largely mental.
You seem to have posted the wrong image.
I believe that's probably going to be the case, but the scene in question only clarified that Gon can no longer see nen, but he still has his aura. This implies that the problem lies in his own ability, but it could be anything as it stands.
Yeah I haven't looked at that interview in quite a while so I couldn't remember for sure, but it's 4 years old and it's not certain how many of his story arcs ideas are actually set in stone (only Togashi knows that).
You know normally I'd agree, but it just seems like togashi wouldn't want to keep adding in new stuff to the story. If it's a psychological block he can overcome it as the story moves forward without it feeling pointless, if it's an ability thing I feel like he'd have to devote more time to it to make it work. As you say though, there's really not enough information to have anything more than vague guesses.
I wonder if Togashi is ok knowing that at this rate HxH will be finished around 2030.
But really, someone with his skills and the art of the last chapters, it shouldn't be hard to pull 20 pages at least bi-weekly.
>mfw I'm old and cripple waiting for new chapters
>mfw hxh is still not over
>mfw "the adventure truly never ends"
>mfw that's what Togashi was trying to tell us the entire time
>he purposely made us wait this long for chapters to spread this glorious universal message to his readers
It's like poetry. Togashi is indeed a master of his craft.
Ok hopefully tomorrow if i can get my seedbox to actually seed, i will have the torrent up on nyaa. Im in the process of uploading the files.
>implying Gon won't end up being part of the 0.0000001% of Enhancers that becomes Specialists
>OP special snowflake move
Doesn't have to be that either, maybe make his opponents freeze so they can't do anything while he unleashes his jan-ken-pon, or something.
How dedicated to shitposting are you?
Nothing new, just like Shishio in Ruroni Kenshin, or The Twelve Palaces in Saint Seiya, those were the bests arcs and after that was a step-down.
But in Togashi's case is hard to say if he will think in a way to improve Dark Continent arc with some new kind of techniques and powers.
