Madoka will be remembered as the anime of the decade. Bakemonogatari was the anime of the last decade. SHAFT created two consecutive AOTD's, and both shows also happen to be the two best selling TV anime of all time.
SHAFT confirmed for GOAT.
Kizu soon. The next half decade will be great as well.
>Moeshit girls doing nothing but drink tea and play songs
My only consolation when I read threads like "AOTS" "anime of the decade" "GOAT" is the knowledge that a percentage of the people that bother giving some relevance to this concept will one day see the light and understand that merits in entertainment and art aren't something you can rank like big bowl teams.
the only thing that can be used like that is the commercial success data, that is meaningful only for derivative, tertiary audience and the producers whose main goal is to make money, both for greed and to keep the industry alive.
In fact, K-On! is the greatest anime ever made.
>K-On! is the greatest anime ever made.
Not CODE GEASS?!
Thread is shit, initiating Exterminatus
>give Nisio a huge bag full of money
>get the right to animate Zaregoto
I never watched Madoko because it lookedl ike everyone's head got put into a vice grip.
And I refuse to watch Bakemonogatari because they created cocktease BD specials and never delivered with the tits.
KyoAni will save anime with
This will forever be known as the greatest anime of all time.
>greatest anime of all time
>didn't even sell 1k
People didn't buy it because Japs have shit taste and they could just read the book
Is it good?
Really enjoyed Zaregoto, even though I couldn't find translations for any noverl past 6th. Would I as a nisiofag like this series?
Kobold terrorists huntring down whiney teenagers and their overpowered human allies was the best part of the show. None of the main characters were really likable though. Squealer did nothing wrong.
>Non Non Biyori will be remembered as the anime of the decade.
Everyone loved Madoka. It's just that the tripfags and the generals ruined the perception of the fanbase and therefore the show in the collective memory of /a/nons.
Sounds just good enough for me.
It seems like I can't find any translations though, what gives? Can someone help me out?
Don't tell me there are no fucking translations for fucks sake.
Seriously? Guess I'll have to
bite the dustthen.
God, what the fuck, I thought monogatari's
shittyfanbase was massive enough to spawn a generation of translators. Guess they're only good for stupid waifu wars, holy fuck I'm mad.
These two anime can explain to you how to...RAPE
Is it really sequel milking to adapt more than twelve episodes' worth of a manga or LN series? It's not like they made any new material for the sake of having sequels.
Will Homufags still love Homu if she actually looked like this?
The only good to come out of Bake was Mayoi Snail and Meme being relevant. The only people that like Bake best are the ones who seriously think Nise is a satire of fanservice anime, in a pitiful attempt to "justify" their liking for it.
I would have agreed if not for Rebellion. Madoka never loved Homura at all and Homura ruined everything imaginable. The movie assassinated every character and ruined the plot with nonsense. Homura had no character and is evil for no reason at all so she rapes Madoka and forces a bad end for everyone but her.
Fuck Homura and fuck Madoka. Nobody likes it anymore other than theough hating Homura.
Madoka hates Homura.
>and both shows also happen to be the two best selling TV anime of all time.
Excluding World of Golden Eggs, the best selling series in history is Eva, and by a long fucking mile too (it has surpassed 200k after the BD release).
What's with the big jump at 98-99 with CCS and One Piece? And Haruhi? Christ I hated that thing, I still do. But that huge gap compared to the previous year means it did something right, I suppose.
Code Geass was pretty good, both because it was crazy entertaining as well as pretty interesting with good main character and great ending, but not AOTD. That's too pretentious a title.
Although I will say that the fool in the other thread who was suddenly complaining about the presence of mecha was absolutely wrong about that. They made the action scenes work better and some of the designs were cool.
At least Kizu won't suffer like the rest of the arcs did and hopefully he will take Monogatari back after Kizu airs if there's anything left to direct.
Keion is easily the AOTD
