So we know most, if not all, want Salem for the Mahou Tsukai mascot.
What about the toys? Will they use a wand for their transformation item? Weapon? Will they go for another fucking cellphone toy?
Which civilian form has the best hair accessory? I'll be honest, I hadn't noticed Haruharu's until the flashback scene. But in terms of looks I've always loved the look of Love's.
I sometimes feel a little lonely that I can't be with Mana but then I remember she'll always be in my heart
Mana. No contest.
She's a reality warper that transcends such trivial limitations as "she isn't in the image".
What the funassyi. 12 seconds in and I'm already baffled by the HaCha movie.
1-hour drawing incoming.
Apparently November 23rd is Labour Thanksgiving Day in Japan, so today's theme is just that.
We need another evil organization themed bad guys.
WE NEED SHOCKER
Do you guys think Ako was originally meant to be a seperate entity from Muse? We know the story of Suite of changed (thanks to the earthquake), supposedly becoming lighter. They also gave a pretty poor excuse as to how she aged up to Muse.
What if Muse was originally the princess' knight rather than the princess herself? Like Sword.
I don't know, it was meant to be extremely vague so no one could immediately guess who it was.
Waon and Seika? I suspect them way more than I suspect Ako, their names even fit the naming convention for Hibiki and Kanade.
I'm saying she wouldn't do that here. There isn't a big focus on physical fitness at schools here like there is in Japan. Bikes aren't anywhere near as common and no one delivers food by foot.
If fatties consistently did it they wouldn't be fat. She'll do it for like a week or two and then gradually give up just like every other fatty who tries to diet and exercise.
Waon and Seika were meant to be red herrings paired along with the false leak of Beat and Symphony. Then Ellen happened, but it could've been that Ako was decided to be Muse after the earthquake but before Beat, so they chose Kurokawa for Ellen's surname. There was that sweets club member who had Muse's eyes, so everyone jumped on her.
>Waon and Seika were meant to be red herrings paired along with the false leak of Beat and Symphony.
I don't think this is the case, at least not purposefully.
I think they had a larger role in the story. Maybe not cures themselves, but they had some purpose beyond 'best friend characters'.
That one statement about some of the story elements changing has generated so much speculation and sure, you could flirt with the idea of playing Muse straight (as Siren) or make it be a blind shot like Waon/Seika. As I understand it, Waon and Seika's characters are taken from what might've been the two other cures, whose family names would complete the cardinal directions, which could've been done with or without a masked Muse.
In the end, I feel like Muse as
the lost princessand Beat as Hummy's fallen friendkeeps the story nice and tight with the connections, gives them good reason to be "adopted" in, and gives the story a good shove forwards at the moments it needs. If they were last-minute changes, they were well woven changes because it feels like this would've been a very natural way to have the whole story go.
>you will never tease Yuuyuu about her visibly swollen belly after her tenth helping of rice
>you will never tease Yuuyuu about her visibly swollen belly after her tenth helping of
Oh, I don't think Siren was ever meant to be Muse. I just keep thinking back to that Sweets Club's megane who had masked Muse's face.
Why would I do that, onee-chan? It's not even bath time yet!
At being a captive.
How do you feel about captives?
Captives..? I brush my teeth every day so I won't get any.
You don't need to hold her captive, anon. She does whatever you ask anyway.
You should get one, they're really useful. They'll clean you in places you could never reach.
So, for the eventual re-encode and clean-up of Go! Princess PreCure, which enemy name translation should be used?
- Zetsuborg (no translation, go learn moon you plebs)
>what is Lala anyway?
The greatest villain.
>Why would you translate a single name that's repeated over and over as the only thing they can say?
It's not a proper word at all.
>It's an easily translatable pun
I'm rather fond of "Sorrowbot", hadn't heard that before this thread.
When will Precure get an OP as good as Sailor Moon's?
That's a nice change of pace. This lovely cat is wearing something other than her usual outfit. And it doesn't look like the winter chill is bothering her at all.
This is getting there, but for some reason the artist drew a mutant Hummy.
pardon moderate lateness i just broke a couple teeth and maybe some bones
i'll be fine
if someone can turn back time a little bit and warn me about being more careful stepping out of the shower, that would be appreciated
I was kind of worried. I hope you are daijoubu.
Oh wow. I was about to jokingly say that cat tats killed you but it seems I wasn't too far off.
But you must accept the past and learn from your mistakes. Just don't smile. You'll scare the kids.
That is one of my greatest fears.
I very much want to fuck that fairy.
B-but what would we do without our dank memes?
We can always talk about
Like how I don't like how meek they made Pafu. They don't really need two fairies, just make Pafu competent instead, and Aroma will be needless.
I think Toei did it so that they can sell two dolls though; Aroma the talking doll, and Pafu the doll whose hair can be styled.
They'll go for a wand/cellphone changer, complete with a brush tip like the Shodophone so it pulls double duty as a broom too.
curm blovey wa mutaku nan drakkar noir
Sleepy Honoka da bes
I want to be saved by Honoka
Oh, I remember seeing this. Looks like it's part Doremi/Fun Fun Pharmacy too?
Are there any Korean kids shows with good art&animation that are not meant for American export? (Ignoring Ladybug since that has budget.) I recall one about soccer, but what about shows for girls?
Why is Rin looking at Nozomi like that?
She truly is a bitch until the very bitter end
Not that I know of, the only other shows I know are Hey Yo Yorang and some full cg monstrosity.
Some of their really old stuff looks interesting though.
Kind of weird how their animation evolved from looking japanese to looking chinese for a period of time then going back to looking japanese.
Well at least it won't look like this.
I'm in the 1990s right now (I see what you mean by Chinese), and I have to say their music choices are very interesting. For kids shows, they either have young kids or old men/women singing, no in-between.
I was just about to ask if you were referring to this CGI monstrosity. It took the worst parts of Barbie's aesthetic and amplified them.
The songs they use for their 70s and 80s openings are kind of reminiscent of 60s anime openings.
It's probably that they were just lagging behind when they started producing more original animation.
Tarte still rocking
Would you guys vote for Trump if he publicly announced his waifu is Mana while wearing a Precure shirt?
If he came out wearing a Heart kig, I'd instantly get an american citizenship just to vote for him.
I liked how when the Dokis talked about being jealous of each others friendship only Mana didn't know what they were talking about
Oh no, you must look like a mess right now. I know, what you need is a
I hope you feel better and get all fixed up.
Same with more annoying mascots and less Honoka.
Pretty much like the second arc of FW for a whole year with less Nagisa and more of the new character. Only enjoyable if you like Hikari, but it does get a lot better at the end.
At least they kept trying to bring it back
Milky Rose kept hers forever. Every movie she's in we get her midriff back.
Mana is no one's property, everyone else is Mana's property.
Nozomi's tummy is just a little bit more full of dreams than everyone else's.
Last night I dreamt I was Momozono Love and that I was teasing a lot of guys
Such a happy dream
Balala subs for ep 1 of season 5: Finding Melody or whatever the hell it's called. Script is not typeset, and has only been roughly timed.
A few notes on the names:
I have no fucking idea what the queen is supposed to be called. Type 姫丝美莎 into Google Translate and make of it what you will.
The names of the queen's attendants mean Spring Wind and Autumn Rain.
Zhiqong should really be spelt Zhicong, but since in Mandarin the 'c' is pronounced like a 'q' I just went with Zhiqong instead.
Mixi is actually called 米斯. Again, make of it what you will.
Youle is actually pronounced "you-luh", two syllables.
Also I fucking hate balala now, so I won't be doing any more.
Yui is a tough girl!!!
Yes, but her sister is there to keep her in check.
It's too shallow and unsubtle. You have scenes like the cake mix-up, or the fat kid's guitar, and it all comes across as rather mean-minded, really. When something is silly in Precure it's knowingly silly, deliberately retarded (from what I've seen). But when something is silly in Balala (at least, in that one episode) that thing is just silly, and not particularly entertaining. Also the entire enterprise seems a little like churning out seasons for money; and while I"m not saying Precure doesn't do that, at least Precure has good music or animation or direction to go with it; and more often than not better writing.
Just watched it. I think them making fun of the fat kid makes them feel more like actual friends/classmates. From what I understand of Balala they've been going for like 5 years with the same cast so I don't think it's such a bad thing to have that character dynamic if they're all real familiar with each other. I'm just glad they didn't go with the find legendary warriors to defeat X big bad in order to liberate Y kingdom that precure likes to use to give the MC a henshin device. It's also nice that the queen of the kingdom seems to be her own character, it reminds me of having Mephisto and Aphrodite around during suite.
>and it all comes across as rather mean-minded, really.
This. The most mean-spirited thing I can think of that Precure has done is maybe showing the adult Precure fan wanting a girlfriend. And even then the Cures ended up showing compassion for him in the end. I feel bad for the guitar kid in Balala. Do they continue to treat him like shit?
It will be like with chinese cars and smartphones: After millionth iteration it will be as good as original.
Let's just hope that by time Toei drops precure, Balalas will be good enough.
I feel like you guys are reading too much into it.
I think it's less that balala is mean, and more that precure is just kind of sterile for a kids show.
Even stuff like doraemon has the kids make fun of each other all the time.
I've tried fapping to a different Cure each day. I'm getting down to the more difficult ones like Rin or Yuri now. What Cure have you gotten off to the most?
One per session is how I prefer it, as well.
I end up 'saving' Precure with lots of material since I figure I can go with them anytime, but then I end up never getting around to them.
a small reminder this came from china: it's already a huge step that the balalas are likeble from an esthetic point of view, coming from a country that doesn't have cartoon quality productions (kind of like lolirock. I don't like the story at all but when I see blue, I want to search for more pictures)
Tsubomi would be best grandmom
Also I love this opening
I know, that's why I posted her. It's not anime but the french did a good job here
So would she make notes like this?
It depends. Girl's heart is a big mystery,
>tfw Mana doesn't look at you during sex
> Mana won't cuddle with you after
It's basically precure discussion.
Still can't believe someone went out of their way to sub it. Fun times.
>tfw getting more excited for Balala than for Digimon
1-hour drawing incoming.
What starts with W and ends with R, and also means best boy? That's Westar aka Nishi Hayato, today's 1-hour drawing theme.
>Turks in war with Putin
Oh boy, is this real life?
Is Balala a fucking meme or is the show actually good?
I have been too long on this fucking website and I still can't recognize if people are being ironic or serious.
Sure, the blue looks cute but I don't know jackshit about a literal chinese cartoon for girls.
>balala subs don't have them calling her Xiaolan oneechan for irony
This was a missed opportunity.
>abusive teacher/student relationship
>Nozomi and Coco
Was that guy a teacher who was constantly overpowered by his 14 year old female student who happened to be an overpowered magical girl?
I want to marry him.
>Any sort of confession about Nozomi and Coco get that huge-ass TRIGGER WARNING, even the ones defending it.
What a nice, passive-aggressive blog runner.
>Even Magical Girl shows are 'muh problematic' now
Boy, SJW's turn into bigger pussies by the day.
