>It's a dead genre
Nigger, we get mecha shows all year long.
Embarassing. Just fuck off redditors, you really are the cancer killing /a/.
/m/ is a tomino board. Evafags not welcome
What should I post if I watch anime?
I want to be your friend so it's important I know how to behave in a thread like this.
Do I post nothing and just wait to snipe others with criticisms and offer no solutions? That sounds fun! R8 my attempt...
>being a reddit-tier anime philosopher
There's the door >>>/MAL/
>Sup I'm new
The most profitable anime franchises in Japan are mecha series. The two biggest shows in this board's history were both mecha shows. The recent FMP announcement got thousands of replies. If Mecha is dead, then all of the rest of anime must be a rotting corpse by comparison.
>I like mecha that isnt Eva, TTGL, Code Geass, or Cross Ange
Yeah, it's fucking sad. People on /a/ posture about being experts or connoisseurs when it comes to anime, but the reality is that the majority of them have probably watched less than 20 shows from before 1995 and less than 10 shows from before 1980. It shows in how hollow and laughable your average discussion here winds up being.
Please try to defend the series, it's literally fight after fight. The only thing it has going for it is the concept of the Ideon and the cycle of civilizations. Everything involving Karala and her drama was shit. And without the movie, the ending is abrupt as fuck.
