While the two have some similar themes I don't think they're really comparable. Alien 9 is an exercise in abstraction, whereas narutaru is more an exploration of fear and resentment.

To clarify what that anon said, Dark Horse licensed the manga and did all kinds of retarded things like flipping the pages and those are the only scans available for the first few volumes, after shit hit the fan they dropped it actual scanlators picked it up using higher quality japanese raw, but there are no jap scans for the Dark Horse volumes as far as anyone knows
