You know, Goten and Trunks are implied to be really strong but I was always under the impression that at their base form they're about as strong as Goku during Freeza saga with super saiyan on top of that. Like I imagine they'd get wrecked by Cell.
The only reason they're relevant is because they can fuse which is basically 1 + 1 = 3 But I think Gohan at 8 was stronger than Goten currently is. Only difference is Goten can turn super saiyan while Gohan couldn't until he was like 9-10.

I think the biggest flaw of the Cell/android sagas is that they're one saga. I wish the android saga had come to a conclusion where they decide to not kill Goku for now, similar to Piccolo did. Maybe gohan tries to protect Goku and 16's compassion kicks in. Because 16 dying being the trigger to make Gohan transform seems a little phoned in seeing how They only even meet like 2-3 times.

Also because the androids are much more interesting villains than Cell just based on the fact that they're just bored teenagers.
Also it'd make room for Krillin trying to get to know 18 behind the scenes. See 18 and 17 interact more with each other. It'd really make you feel something when Cell innevitably shows up and absorbs them. Just a thought.

So I was rereading the Buu Saga for the millionth time and I noticed that whenever Gohan gets pissed at Old Kaioshin for taking so long he gets the Super Saiyan eyes but his hair doesn't change. It's an awful translation, where most of it is completely made-up. In that link, "Toriyama" says that Freeza's PL is 100 quintillion, which is BS considering it was Ryuusei Nakao who said that, as a joke.

The last time Muten Roshi had his power measured was during the Saiyan arc... which was roughly fifteen years before the events of Resurrection F. Isn't it possible he's been training offscreen and has steadily increased his power? His abnormally strong student Kuririn did spend a lot of that time living with him, after all, and he would make one hell of a sparring partner.

Granted, due to his age and never doing extra-special stuff like going to Kaio's or getting potential unlocks, Roshi's not going to reach the same level as the younger Earthlings, and his power might deteriorate pretty quickly if he slacks off. But I don't see any reason why a PL of a few thousand wouldn't be possible for him, especially when he buffs up to fight like in the movie. I could see him around 1,000-1,500 normally and maybe close to 5,000 in his "max power" state.
