Who are the best bros in all of anime and manga?
I don't have a picture of all three of them so I'm just gonna post the best one.
Heavy Object. It's a fun time waster at best but there are only 7 episodes out currently if you want to check it out.
At the beginning of the series Killua is a bad friend, and Gon is good. Throughout the series Killua opens up and becomes a better friend while Gon loses his shit and disregards his friends due to his own insecurities. Basically, they switch places over the course of the series.
>enables gon's delusions
>uses kite's name to control him
>abandons gon emotionally
>treats him like shit for being called out on something that's later confirmed to be true
>treats saving him like a burden and only does it to hold it over him
>guilt trips him afterwards
Yeah sure Killua is a total bro
I mostly just remember Gon being too fixated on revenge, to the point that he ignored his other friends, while Killua was desperately trying to get them through it and trying in vain to help Gon come to his senses.
Was just starting a rewatch today and damn Kuwabara is the bro-est bro who ever bro-ed.
Most MCs don't deserve the loyalty of their best friend-kun but Kuwabara takes that shit to another level.
A friendship that transcends all barriers
A big part of why things got so bad is because Killua was too afraid to speak up and Gon did almost nothing wrong.
Killua expects Gon to be some kind of mind reader to be sensitive towards his feelings but shows no concern for Gon's feelings at all except for when he tried to stop him from seeing Palm.
The thing is Gon's condition didn't start during the palace invasion, but long before that. Killua knew from the start that Gon was traumatized the moment he claimed that Kite was dead. And yet he did nothing, he said nothing, he never even tried. The palace invasion was really Gon at his breaking point.
this was my wallpaper a little while back
Killua didn't expect Gon to automatically know what he wanted, and he didn't abandon Gon emotionally. All he wanted was for Gon to ask for his help. He knows that Gon's crusade agains Pitou isn't good for him, and wants Gon to ask him for help. In the emotional state Gon was in though, there wasn't anything Killua could have done to force Gon to accept his help, and if he had tried to interfere in Gon's fight with Pitou there's no telling what Gon would have done. He's not greedy and ignoring Gon's feelings, he wants Gon to realize that he's putting himself in danger, and causing all of his friends pain. And given what Gon did to himself to beat Pitou, he's right.
Josuke and Okuyasu are a good choice too.
They really are god tier friends.
The only friends in a harem anime that I like, usually the loser has shitty friends that the author abandons once the MC starts making a ton of female friends.
Not these fuckers though, they stick around and help their bro try and get his vampire waifu.
Man, I just started watching the first season (saw the second on toonami all those years ago) and the relationship in the first season is way more bro betweet Jigen and Lupin. I fucking love it.
Thread was asking about best bros, not best lovers
The author spending time to focus on the characters out side of the MC and his harem is probably the best part of the series. Having a cast full of all kinds of diverse idiots makes everyone more interesting, since there's so much more opportunity for a wider variety of character interaction. It's made the series get progressively better over time, honestly.
Is it werid that I wish those guys got focus on their own romance too? Like, Asahi would still be MC but instead of trying to get a gf he would try to help his retarded friends.
Josuke and Okuyasu aren't even the best bros in their own series, pic related.
there are so many great bros but not enough mutual bros
They aren't even the best bros in their own series.
Does there exist a male and female bro couple?
No romance, no sexual tension, no love bullshit. Just a guy and a girl having fun and doing bro things.
Is it a sign of the times no one posted these guys yet?
Come on guys.
Jesus a cute.
You said male and female bro couple not female and human male bro couple.
>Ctrl + F
>No Yugi and Joey
Step it up, senpai.
Yeah, I know they were probably married or something. But, from the point of view that they didn't have any kind of dramatic love romance storyline or anything like that. Like, they loved eachother but they never made a huge deal of it on the show apart from them just being with eachother all the time. They could have just as easily been brother and sister and that wouldn't have been awkward, if that makes sense. Just my recollection. I was just putting them forward as a boy and girl that act like bros, rather than like a classic romeo and juliet bf/gf angle
I love these two morons.
I was expecting some generic shit and what I got was basically a buddy cop movie with mecha.
The best answer.
The only acceptable answer. Came here just to post this.
They are not best bros, they the damn robot fuck steals the S rank from one punch man. He lied about house of evolution (ya I did it all lol) when it was OPM that killed the god damn crab.
Then he takes credit for the meteor when he didn't do shit. OPM did all the work and he is still C class. Someone like genos isn't a bro to me, if he is always taking credit for my work. He is a bully. This anime pisses me off so much because it is like giving vegeta credit for beating freeza. IT was really GOKU u fucks.
I doubt you could call it fun or bro things, but Killy and Cibo had one of the most solid partnerships in the history of male/female duos. It was beyond heartwarming to see a cold, emotionally dead bastard like him go out of his way to save and protect the only person he could ever call a friend.
Too bad he wasn't able to in the end.
the barest hint of tears he has when she dies
>Steals S Rank
No, because Saitama almost failed the written portion, and it was suspected that he was cheating the physical.
>Lied about the HoE
No, they asked him if he destroyed the building, which he did. He assumed that they also interviewed Saitama about it.
>Takes credit for the meteor
No, the public gives him the credit, because they think Saitama is a cheater and a liar. Genos tries to defend him but Saitama stops him.
>Saitama still a C class.
He jumped from like rank 320 to 5, because the Association still had their doubts about his actual contributions.
That's part of what makes their relationship so magical, they could be anything an it's never fully explained. You could easily see them as lovers, or simply eccentric business partners. They could be a married couple, or possibly a brother/sister deal like you mentioned. Any angle you look at it from it fits, as they're two halves of the same whole but ultimately inseparable. The fact that their relationship is literally eternal just adds to the magic.
Considering how utterly barren his heart has to be after possibly thousands of years of suffering and struggle, that almost completely unnoticeable display of genuine sorrow must be the equivalent of an inconsolable emotional breakdown.
Then he has to pick his battered, broken body back up and just keep on walking.
The bro-est loli.
>inb4 usagi drop ending
Out of all of them, the closest Jotaro had to a friend besides his grandfather was Polnareff. Avdol was just there, Iggy was an ass, and he didn't interact with Kakyoin enough.
>Out of all of them, the closest Jotaro had to a friend besides his grandfather was Polnareff.
Yeah, pretty much. I like that Araki basically gave this a nod in Part 5.
About Jotaro in general, Part 3 Jotaro is too stoic for me. I feel like Part 4 Jotaro would be a great bro/mentor though.
What happened to brock guys?
She'd stab your lover with a knife just to make you happy.
Pretty hard to find cause I think female and female relationship is easily interpreted as romantic, at least looking at recent trends.
But it's not like there are none. Pic related.
this wasn't romantic... I think.
I'm having a hard time finding true Broship
It really depends on where you draw the line between bro and homo
>hey man I was gonna reward you with nobility and probably a castle with bitches if you stuck with me until the end like the bros we are but you leaving just to show me up in some bitchfit is cool too
Guts a shit
Guts didn't want nobility or a castle. He just wanted Griffith to be his friend. When Griffith said that he could only be friends with an equal, and that none of the Band were his equals Guts needed to prove that he was worthy of being Griffith's friend. Too bad it didn't work out.
Its not a buddy cop movie in the literal sense, might be better to say super troopers since they're soldiers and are pretty retarded outside of breaking oversized RB 79s
If you're in it for banter and unquestionable loyalty to each other, then its a safe series, just don't expect AOTS
Yeah dude just bros that's all.
blood brothers best brothers
also really damn good bros
>See's no Ash and Pikachu.
/a/ I'm disappointed.
A true friend and great brother
sure he is clingy and might be a bit possessive but he already grew out of it.
he's given him plenty of opportunities to leave
Gwenithur and havia from Heavy object. I don't have a picture of them so have some froleytia
Can't believe no one has posted this yet.
Just reread Mob, these guys are the broest of bros.
This hasn't been posted yet, what the fuck /a/
No words needed in their bottomless friendship.
>Aokimura for sure
They're a riot as is and even better with Takamura, especially during the pre-Itagaki era when they used to bully Ippo all the time.
Absolutely, though the slow releases are starting to hurt it a bit.
Eiji and Touga by the end of the show
Luna was pretty cool too once her initial bitchiness vanished
And then there was Sandman being the greatest bro the world has ever seen
