I think it's because TG has a huge tumblr fandom.
The threads used to be much nicer before the fandom got big on tumblr.
Suddenly, the tumblr fandom blew up and I got told to "fuck off back to tumblr" for posting Shuuneki fanart that I got from /a/ just the previous week.

She knew Sasaki was in communication with his Qs and (while I don't know if she expected this) she moved Noro and Kanae to pin the Qs and Sasaki respectively as soon as they separated. Only intervening herself when it became clear Sasaki had beaten Kanae.

Because she figured that Sasaki would behave like clockwork when he found out his Qs needed him, yet lacked the strength to defend himself. He'd embrace his Kaneki.

You're right, we can't say anything. What we can say is that his kagune, pre-"death" was enough to break IXA and wound Arima. This is intentionally pointed out as a big deal, Ishida was definitely pointing out the potential.

Also, Kaneki was SS~ during the Anteiku arc, and that was with a half-kakuja. He wasn't just strong, but he actually broke the quinque of "Mmm boi" with ease, the guy that Devil Ape (as much as I love him), nearly died to, but I'll admit that was a cheap shot.

However, Wan Wan wasn't faring much better, struggling with TotallyNotVash and his squad, whereas Kaneki came in and totally dominated all of them.

Now how much would him becoming a full kakuja (and presumably getting control, instead of going crazy) benefit him? I'm fairly sure it would make him break through the SS-barrier.

In fact, the consistent fact tying the SSS ghouls together is the fact that they completed their kakuja. Now, it's a bit of a misleading case, because Yoshimura and Eto were assumed to be the same person, but it definitely seems like a full kakuja is seen as what puts SS and SSS-ghouls apart, and for good reasons, since it not only gives someone an OP form, but also strengthens their regular kagune, as seen in the fight with Arima.

Right now, Kaneki seems to be at 3/4th the kakuja development. In the sewer, his kakuja evolved again, and he grew six centipede tails and a new mask. He just didn't get to show it off, because he wanted to fight Arima with his regular kagune, so we don't know how much stronger he got, but we can assume that having six centipede tails are a pretty nice upgrade, and that isn't even a complete kakuja.

Also, after that sewer evolution, his kagune seemed to have indeed changed and become more monstrous, become a bit more like Eto's strange kagune. Just look at the hands. It's not yet on Eto's level, but it really went more to the Eto-type of kagune than the regular and typical kagune shapes.
