Question,

I've seen the English dub of this in addition to the original audio, and I've noticed the pain the actors put themselves through to pronounce the name as "Eh - Uh - Reh- Kah". That's the way it's pronounced in Japanese, after all. But being a word that exists in the English language and has its own natural phonetics, Should they not have gone with that? Perhaps they thought people would sperg at them because the name would sound more like "Yurika"?

Well it depends where the director/writer took the name from. It could've been from English language but there's a chance they just played the mix and match game with Japanese phonetics so unless they ever say we won't know.
I pronounced it Your-Eka seven be fore watching it (dubbed) and after took it upon myself to say it as "Ey-you-reck-a" because that's how the VA's pronounced it
