Daily dose of KKOW.
>>133651033
Finally finished Kongou Banchou but still got many series to read, really eager to try Ahiru no Sora in a few days, looks really cool but not sure if it's delinquent or not, hopefully not, and just started Hot Road since it's short and my reading order is from shortest to longest, I don't know what is it with this manga, just like Hana no Asukagumi! it's really difficult to follow, text just flying around everywhere, who the fuck is talking, who is who, I have no idea, not sure if it's a common old Shojou thing.
TL-anon, what was your email again so we could share the document with you?
>>133651694
>>133651674
It's in the last thread somewhere.
>>133605053
>>133652096
Dammit.
>>133652694
Oh wot Yuuichi actually beat him up
>>133652954
>>133652972
Yuichi's actually tough, Sagawa's the one who's kind of weak.
>>133653861
And that's all for today, thanks for reading.
Why would we stop on a cliffhanger?!
Thank you for the dump.
The thing I really love about Kyou Kara Ore Wa is how the author maxed out Itou and Mitsuhashi early on. All of the enemies that come after presents different sorts of challenges to the duo even if the villains still get One-shotted really easily.
>>133653897
What the fuck do you mean that's all? That's in the middle of a story you punk
>>133654287
>>133654303
What are you gonna do about it? Don't look down on me fuckers.
>>133654800
Oh a tough guy are we? Let's see how tough you are after Ibake you a batch of cookies
>>133656367
>no homo by the way
Who translated this?
>>133656910
Hokuto no Gun.
>>133651033
Thanks doc!
what would I do without my daily dose of Mitsuhashi and Riko?
>>133651162
A E S T H E T I C
>>133653897
Fuck I wanted to keep reading.
>>133651033
Riko is my waifu
Finished kkow about a week ago, what should I read next?
>>133661910
Angel Densetsu, Shonan Junai Gumi, GTO, Be-Bop High, Rokudenashi Blues, etc. Also Bakuon Rettou now that we've got the TL anon up in here.
>>133661910
Be-Bop High is just as funny, also Cromartie High or Ocha Nigosu by the same author is really good.
>>133662028
>>133662559
Read Shounan Junai Gumi, GTO, and I haven't heard of the rest, gonna start reading them now.
>>133661910
How about NANIWA TOMOARE?
>>133664794
>NANIWA TOMOARE
Thanks a lot, just started it and its pretty interesting so far.
Just finishing up the TL for the last chapter of V3. Heres to the next 15 volumes
>>133665122
Fuck yeah!
>>133664957
You're welcome.
And CHAMELEON is also funny as well.
>>133664957
>>133665830
Wait do you fuckers read moon?
>>133668075
Of course.
I live in moon.
>>133668695
Neat.
>>133652182
Greatest love story ever told.
>>133657065
They translate Be-Bop High School too right?
>>133674878
Yeah, they did at least, I guess there's hope since they keep translating the OVAS they haven't forgotten about the series.
>>133675400
Their website says that they've got chapters 47 to 200 translated but they're still being proof read and edited. So I assume that it's still being worked on.
It's not too unusual for there to be months in-between releases so I'm not too worried about it.
bunp
>>133668075
Nah I'm just fucking with you, going around suggesting obscure ass shit nobody in the western hemisphere has even read.
Also, worth mentioning that Kenka Shoubai was updated like 3 days ago with chapters 19 to 21 by a different group DKThias, it'd be great if they pick it up actively, we'd be getting Bakuon Rettou, Osu!! Karate Bu and now Kenka Shoubai.
>>133668695
Lucky bastard.
So how far is the typesetting on BR? I'm guessing TL's crazy pace is causing a bit of a gap.
>>133668695
Aight then, you're now in charge of getting Shippuu Nijimarugumi raws and translating them as well as Shakotan Boogie.
>>133678418
TL is at 13-14, TS at 11 I think, and proofreader probably around 12 or 13.
>>133678446
Wait what
>>133678545
>>133678446
I think he replied to the wrong post.
>>133678545
>>133678583
I did, meant for >>133678387
>>133678418
There was a Shakotan Boogie film, as well as an OVA series, both haven't been translated as far as I know.
>>133679172
I wonder what it is about delinquent manga that compels people to make live action films.
>>133679550
The films generally sell better than delinquent anime. The crows franchise did really well, and the films aren't bad at all. (The first one has some weird comedy scenes that don't fit the rest of the theme though)
>>133679550
It's probably just cheap and easy to make. Hardest part is getting the hair right.
>>133679550
Yeah, 80% of all somewhat well known delinquent manga already have a live action or more.
>>133679664
We should probably set up a project or something to translate said films. Or compile a list of available films, subbed and raw.
>>133679600
Is it weird that I get upset when I go through a live-action movie and they fuck up the hair?
>>133679600
I mean I'd rather get the manga of any of those but I supposed it's way easier to simply sub a film, anything's welcome I guess.
>>133679702
There are certain hiarstyles that are really difficult to pull off so it's understandable but what I really hate is why sometimes they change the person's hairstyle for no reason, like the recent Lupin III live action, they removed the iconic cut of his with the sideburns, what were they thinking.
>>133651033
For a moment I thought that was Tonari no Seki-kun.
>>133662028
angel densetsu is fucking hilarious
I about died when he met that martial arts chick's dad
>>133679788
I give them credit if it seems like they actually tried. The 80's Be-Bop High School movies and the Shonan Bakusozoku live-action movie manage to do pretty well.
Stuff like the Be-Bop High School specials from 2004-2005 piss me off though.
>>133680171
>Shonan Bakusozoku
>last update 921d ago
Why God.
>>133680229
The guy doing it just kind of vanished. It kinda sucks since he was also doing Kyuukyoku Choujin R, which was something I also wanted to read.
>>133680229
Wait some of it was translated?
>>133680760
I can't even find the raws for Shonan Bakusozoku or the OVA. This is truly suffering.
>>133681723
Yeah. The typesetting was kinda bad though.
>>133681844
There's raws up on Nyaa. You have to search " 湘南爆走族" for the manga and "Shounan Bakusouzoku" for the OVA raws.
Unfortunately, the manga raws are somebody taking terrible photos of their manga rather than actual scans.
>>133682374
The OVA is in pieces, with almost no seeders, this is hell.
>>133682906
I did also find the series on Youku if that helps.
>>133683329
>Youku
What's that?
>>133683355
Chinese video sharing site.
>>133683456
Well, it seems there's 90 seconds of ads before every video, and this one doesn't even seem like it's working.
I think we should get together and buy some of these old OVA series, like /m/ does with weird mecha and shit. There's an anon in moonland here right? We can pull together and get some of those old DVDs.
>>133683636
>http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/BSTD-6541
This shit got a fucking BD with a 24 page booklet why don't we have a rip of that?
>>133683636
>>133683724
I know it's more difficult but I'd rather pay to get the manga done, it's not like these OVAs are that good, in general they're just there for some extra goodness to enjoy once you're done with a manga.
>>133683887
True, I personally prefer anime. I still think it's a crime that blurays of the entire series exist and have never ripped.
>>133683509
I got it to work for me. The buffering is the worst though.
>>133683636
I'd say it might actually be a bit easier since most delinquent anime tend to be OVAs. Some mecha series can go for as much as 500 dollars.
Also, you mentioning /m/ got me thinking. Is there a delinquent mecha anime? The closest I can think of is Baxinger since it has a kind of space bosozoku vibe thanks to the personalized motorcycles.
>>133684784
I think there are token yankii in mecha, but no show about yankii mecha, though space bosozoku would be great.
>>133683887
It got a load of image albums, so the soundtrack must have been popular. Some were even released on records.
>>133684876
I guess I'll just have to settle for hotblooded jerk protagonists.
Alright the thread's still alive. Here's your daily dose.
>>133684974
I thought those were mostly relation to the movie, not the anime.
>>133685954
They all have anime related covers. Is the movie available anywhere?
My favorite manga.
>>133686057
I found it on YT and watched it. It's probably been removed by now.
Is the Otokojuku anime worth watching?
>>133686837
The manga is the definitive experience, but I thought the anime was decent despite being rushed at the end.
Also, the opening is 10/10.

>>133687004
Riko-san pls
>>133688038
And that's all for today, thanks for reading.
Bad news: TL anon you'll have to find a new editor for Bakuon Rettou. It's a pain in the ass and takes way too much time, sorry.
>>133687862
I haven't seen eyes that lied this much since last October.
>>133688079
That son of a bitch had better not told Fukuda where Kyou went to school.
>>133688162
You've given up?
>>133688162
Well that sucks.
>>133688162
Can you at least finish chapter 11?
>>133688238
You know he did.
That's what Itou gets for not believing in Mitsuhashi's totally honest face.
>>133688734
Goddamn. Though I do want to see Itou snap and murder all of them.
>>133688315
Yes
>>133688473
I haven't even started c11, TL anoncould probably find a new editor without much trouble though
>>133689115
I appreciate you doing three chapters and admitting you were done instead of just disappearing then. Kind of pissed that it's gonna be another week or two until that cliffhanger gets resolved though.
>>133689115
I might be able to do it if I have enough time. I'll read what is on batoto later and confirm if I like it enough to spend my time in chinese comics.
>>133687049
J is blonde and looks weird drawn, what the fuck how could the do that to a top 5 character.
>>133691189
>top 5
>implying there is anyone in Otokojuku better than J with the exception of maybe Akashi Gouji
The anime confirmed his status as the most based man by having him be voiced by Banjou Ginja.
>>133688162
You said you were here to stay, that you weren't going anywhere, I fucking knew it, I tried not to be hopeful, to prepare myself for this moment when it were to come but you insisted you had passion and wanted to do it, you're the devil himself ain't you? You said it didn't even have redraws or anything particularly annoying, fuck redrawing, I fucking knew it, it's RokuBlues blue balling all over again.
>>133688906
He always snaps in the end.
>>133690316
>Week or two
You really that hopeful someone will pick this up? Ain't gonna happen, nobody's gonna pick this up ever, I'd be cool if TL would still continue due and archive it all wherever he's doing so maybe someone in the future picks up the TS.
>>133691594
Akashi had a hair color change in the anime too, what the fuck were they thinking.
>>133692222
>You really that hopeful someone will pick this up?
Yes. If I have to I'll get photoshop and lurk in some scanlation threads until I can do it myself. That's a last resort though.
>>133692119
>it's RokuBlues blue balling all over again
Not a day goes by where I don't think about this.
>>133692314
After reading JoJo's Bizarre Adventure I don't give a fuck about the colour of anything anymore. I think his anime look suited him somewhat though. His voice actor was also great, everyone's VA in the Otokojuku anime was good. Obviously Gori was the GOAT in it.
>>133692487
What happened to RokuBlues scanlation anyway?
>>133692222
We've got a TL, that's the hardest person to find. Someone offered to do TS in the first thread he asked about it. Even if it's just another few chapters it shouldn't be hard to find another guy.
>>133693050
Is it just the TS or is the cleaning needed as well for the raws?
>>133693246
cleaning, redrawing and ts
>>133693337
Is redrawing ever really necessary if the raws are good?
>>133693434
I'm probably in the minority when I say redrawing can suck a big dick, I mean there are some cases were it's needed but in many others you can just put as small note above or below the panel or whatever, save yourself the work for something so minuscule.
>>133692871
Some guy said he would translate it up to the end of Onizuka's arc. Onizuka has shown up two chapters and scans appear to have stopped indefinitely again.
We are never going to get to Kasai at this rate.
>>133693434
You need to redraw when the artist placed moonrunes directly on the image, it doesn't matter how well scanned the pages are. BR is easy because there's always white background behind the text though
>>133693631
Yeah I know those are the place were redraws are necessary, it's just that some manga do that more than others, what you just showed is fucking sweet thought, the mangaka really did a nice job with that, honestly even if it wasn't translated, it's just easier to read like that.
>>133686872
What is the meaning of Mitsuhashi's gesture? Is it supposed to be a circle, signifying 円/yen/coins/money?
>>133694739
I think he's rubbing his fingers together, that's a thing over there too right?
I hope TL anon continues at least.
>>133694739
The A-ok symbol means money in Japan
final bump
It's been a sad day today with the Bakuon Rettou news but let us not fall into despair and keep these threads going.
Bakuon Rettou TL here. Shitty as fuck but I intend to translate it till the end regardless of an editor or not. Hell, If I have to figure out how to clean then I'll do it. I'm going to see this through till the end
>>133700503
Good to hear, I believe in you anon.
>>133700503
Here's my photoshop action (use this to clean, just open it and press play in the actions menu) and the fonts if anyone needs them
https://madokami.com/g7osvu.atn
https://madokami.com/ksbk1r.zip
I just finished Be-Bop highschool's 3 OVAs, man that was fucking great started reading crows too
>>133692314
Toei animation being weird as hell when it comes to color in any series is as good an explanation as any.
Anybody read Ahiru no Sora? It's like Slam Dunk but with slightly more delinquents to it but I'm trying to figure out if it really is a delinquent series so I don't have to read all the 125 chapters out right now and instead leave it for later because it's pretty solid.
