Rest of volume 9 is out, which means fan translations have caught up the releases.
Now to wait for volume 10 and for Yen Press to take over.
End of the ride
>“A cheer in celebration of my supreme power.”
>The first to move was Mare, who stood opposite Nimble, by Ainz’s side. As though sparked by it, the sounds of clapping began rising up from the soldiers, until it become a thunderous ovation.
Reminds me of that flashback scene in Shinseki Yori, where the psychic emperor was igniting the citizens on fire if they stopped clapping.
dumping now the So-bin special scans from the artbook
>Finish HER EXCELLENCY, GENERAL ENRI : the rekening

>Simply titled 'Massacre'
Got a good chuckle out of that one. I'm excited.
The dress looks pretty good and the wig seems like it was a bitch to make
If the player isn't a retard and messages Ainz somehow and they correspond to each other primarily through that, it could work out. If player B just happens to be doing a bunch of crazy shit like Ainz, he'll get paranoid. The player would be lucky to get in touch with Ainz after he finds out it was a NWer that mind controlled chair.
Yea it actually looks pretty good, though the face markings threw me off for a second. They're accurate and all but it just messed with my perception of their face.
Nigel, the current translator, is going to do it "unofficially" of sky's team.
>“Is there a need to use so much force on a boy throwing a stone? Nobody’ll want to marry you.”
>“Even if you lecture me, I won’t be hap… Kuh! The sin of rudeness against Ainz-sama knows no age or gender. All who commit it must perish!”
It's pretty clear that Alfredo is happy about being scolded by Ainz. Why would she react that way if it was PA?
She also got pretty happy when Demi told her that a good wife will stay home and watch the house while Momon is out adventuring. Does that mean Demi is Ainz?
Why would she be happy about best son insulting her?
>“Very well. I accept your proposal. I will solo PvP Stronoff-dono.”
ALL THAT FUCKING DRAMA
ALL THE AFFIRMATION OF RESOLVE
ALL THE ABSOLUTE DEATH, DESTRUCTION, AND DESPAIR
AND AINZ DROPS THIS FUCKING GEM OF A LINE
He wasn't even insulting her, though.
But yeah, it seems Albedo cums whenever someone mentions that she can be a good wife for Ainz.
Yeah, Gazef knows he has to stay dead to buy some sympathy for Ranpossa, so he won't come back. Plus, he was going on and on about how giving one's life is important because you can only give it once.
He probably doesn't have a World Item that can break MC.
Doesn't really matter anyway, Ainz is literally the only person who knows a resurrection spell powerful enough to bring him back thanks to True Death (that we are aware of) and Ainz is well aware that Gazef doesn't want to come back anyway.
>brain's musings that there would be a great battle with even more casualties will come true
>brain carrying the torch
>weapon that can kill Ainz is now known to exist
>Ainz sees that there are no players within the kingdom
These are pieces of a puzzle. The only way i see them fitting together is that Ainz drops his guard enough to actually be killed by brain and razor edge + multi kingdom coalition.
Good lord I hope this isn't the case. Do you guys know when vol. 10 will be out?
Don't be silly, Ainz won't get killed by Brain. Besides, he said that sword was the MINIMUM required to kill him, which means it would probably take quite a few strikes to actually take him down with it.
Moreover I highly doubt that Ainz would not carry at least one auto-resurrect item on him at all times. After all he's a pretty paranoid/cautious individual.
Not too sure...
Ainz's WCI (mentioned in v1)
Ginnugagap (Albedo's WCI, mentioned in v1)
Unknown WCI (also held by Albedo, mentioned in v1)
Chalice of Hygeia (unknown owner, mentioned in v3)
Billion Blades (unknown owner, mentioned in v3)
Greed and Generosity (Mare's WCI)
Depiction of Nature and Society (Aura's WCI)
And there's apparently a total of 11, with one having gone missing during YGG (mentioned in v3).
It was also why he didn't walk in with his full Divine gear, if it was ganked he would lose it all.
He explicitly has a multiple-use resurrection ring (mentioned in v3) which he takes off because he thinks having it on won't let him harden his resolve. Kind of like how Bruce Wayne escaped from the Pit in Dark Knight Rises
I don't want it to be over /a/. What am I going to do with all of these Overlord images that I will soon have no reason to post?
World Savor/World Savior (I can't remember which one was the correct spelling). I would assume World Savior, but Maruyama's Engrish makes me think he might have called it World Savor instead.
I hope jew press doesn't fuck up any of the names in the translation.
Upload them all to Mega and post it so we can enjoy your collection.
Post them because you can.
I need more Shalltear in my life.
>Not fucking up
Does not compute. Fan translation for Overlord is already nigh-perfect. Why waste money and suffer cringe-tier translations from Yen Shit anyways?
I could never do that, I haven't organised them into neat folders.
Royalty are big on their pedigree and they probably think important people have long names too.
Also, If you have the Cumgargler and the Fuckholster families and they're both important, they may not want to lose out on passing on the family name so if say, the Cumgargler daughter marries the Fuckholster son, she will end up being [Daughter] Cumgargler-Fuckholster.
>At some point in the history of NW there was a horrible, extremely edgy tyrant of death with the personality of an edgy teenager who was known as Ev1lD4rkF1am3L0rd
You know it must have happened at some point.
I could really go for a chapter now about Jircniv hearing about the events of the battle and pissing himself and the Guardians sitting back in Nazarick cheering along as they watch it all on the magical big screen.
Then I probably would but on my third world internet it would take me five hours or more to upload it.
I'm sorry anonymous.
>You'll never have them
Why even live?
What if you get MEGASync and just throw them into that folder? Typically that uploads much faster than using the browser.
Well one of the first things he intends to do with a player, if he finds one, is to kill them, to see if they auto-revive, or if they require another party to bring them back to life.
Might change if the player was valuable, useful or familiar to Ainz, without being a threat. Which would be a tough line to walk. He'd probably be okay with players up to level 80, and would be just fine with 40-60.
He needs them to not be a threat to both himself, and the inhabitants of the Tomb. If they are too weak to be useful for anything, he'll experiment with the first one he finds... and since godkin are a thing, he might horde them in order to create a lineage of powerful subordinates cranking out of the Happy Farm.
The only one he had that would break mind control, was a consumable, one of the Twenty.
As for using one to defeat Shalltear, he went into the fight, assuming that whoever used the WCI on her, was at least observing her and his fight. That's why he went in wearing not his usual equipment, showing off only his skills and super magic. He didn't show off his WCI because he assumed "someone," potentially another player, might interfere if they saw him pull out such a big gun. He used this as a basis to keep the guardians from interfering in the fight.
He also didn't want to potentially lose a WCI if there was an ambush.
As far as I know it's just some anon that updates them. Just post it here and hope it gets in
The translation was literally finished today, are we not allowed to discuss it? These threads will die out rather quickly after this.
Because the fucking things are everyday and a new one is always made right once they hit bump limit. I used to come to every single one of these threads, but we don't need them constantly. Ideally, there should only be one more after this one and then the threads should stop being forced to constantly being up all the time and go back to being something that only sometimes has a thread
It had an anime, manga, and LN being released simultaneously. There was always new content to discuss. I'd be willing to bet you don't complain about YuruYuri (or any other show) having constant threads. Why is this weekly release different from that one?
>. I'd be willing to bet you don't complain about YuruYuri (or any other show) having constant threads
I do, generals are cancer
> Why is this weekly release different from that one?
The issue is, even after the anime was finished, there is ALWAYS a thread up and once one hits bump limit, one almost immediately gets made. The only new content after the anime finished airing was on saturdays, and there was and there still is no need to have one up constantly inbetween the week. The threads for the most part are just maedo posting, image dumps, cticlejerking and I believe at one point they were very heavily CYOA and fanfiction
>missing the point
Refer to this anons picture
There is no need for a constant thread and if it keeps it up, I can see them going off into the deep end and becoming like Madoka ones
PDL and rigrit said it. They tried to rez the 13 heroes leader but he didn't want to play any more.
That might just be because he was sent back to his real body when he died and couldn't get back in since the servers were shut down.
Why doesn't PA get used more often? He's fairly competent, and he's on par with Albedo and Demiurge on terms of intelligence and keikaku (I would dare to say that he's even more competent than Albedo since she's usually too busy trying to get the bone to actually do some master planning by herself). Ainz could advance a lot more if he put him working with Demiurge. Since he's also evil, he won't stop Demiurge from doing anything 'unethical', but since he shares the same mindset of his creator, that would prevent Demiurge doing anything that would end upsetting Ainz.
He could also serve as a intermediary between the two, and maybe do the same with other NPCs. He wouldn't need to be pretending all the time, since he can express himself more freely with PA than with any other NPC and doesn't mind to trash his 'overlord' image in front of his own creations (like he did with DK-kun).
Keeping him just paying a few bills each month and being a double in case that he needs to be in two places at the same time once per month, seems like a huge waste of resources. I bet he's happy that his master orders him to do stuff, even allowing him to carry his name and appearance, but it still feels like the hugest wasted potential of Nazarick.
It also feels unfair that Ainz (an the other guardians) keep inviting Sebas to all the important meetings when he's around, but they left PA out when he clearly more intelligent and holds a higher rank (since he's basically floor guardian). At least he can roam through the 9th floor and mess with the Maids and Albedo.
All of what you have said is true, but I fully support meido posting anyway.
Don't worry, though. This thread is quite slow for Overlord threads and the new content was released today. The general will probably exist for another week at most until it dies off.
>even after the anime was finished, there is ALWAYS a thread up
Probably because we were still getting weekly releases, so the anime stopping didn't actually change anything to these threads.
When he and Brian are cornered by Shalltear, who still doesn't know who the fuck Brian is, and Sebas shows up just in the nick of time. They simultaneously shit themselves and get boners, waiting for the epic confrontation between boss monk and super vampire.
Then Sebas walks up to Shalltear with a smile and says, "Ah, good evening, Shalltear. Did you have some business in the city?"
Is this just speculation? Because I was under the impression that Demiurge was collaborating (or will be) with Renner from the posts some people made here. In that case, it seems unlikely that he'll ever get into a proper conflict with Ainz.
He's mad with him for having an stupid and annoying personality? Albedo and Shalltear are annoying and stupid too, and they are always around when they need to make decisions. It's not even like he needs them to order their minions, as they are loyal to AoG, not to the Floor Guardian.
PA is present too few times. Although I can understand the author having trouble putting that many characters at the same time in one scene, but it left the impression
Stats don't show the NPC's intelligence, I think that's reflected on the NPC's settings (it would fit that Ainz and Ulbert had written something like 'very intelligent nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor' in their descriptions).
Albedo said that PA's was on par with her and Demiurge.
I'm not saying that he needs to go out and fight (Ainz rarely uses the Guardians on that way), but he should be on the meetings and helping people like Albedo and Demiurge.
Most of Ainz's problems related to be misinformed could be resolved if he kept PA's on his side.
Before the anime there was only 1 or 2 threads a week on release date. The anime ending didn't change anything, but the anime airing did change something, it brought in the cancerous generalfags
>I'm not saying that he needs to go out and fight
That's what I mean, though, PA has an incredibly versatile skillset, so he can most likely outdo almost everyone at their own specialty by taking the appropriate SB's form.
I do agree that it's a waste he doesn't show up much. Maybe in v10 he will take center stage.
Or maybe almost everything we've been been reading has been PA pretending even in his inner monologue to be Ainz.
When he's complaining about wanting to know the keikaku that Ainz is doing because he legitimately can't keep up with the real Ainz's twelfth dimensional chess.
But not everyone can use magic so guns and advanced technology would incredibly usefull for an army. Imagine this: Mage prepares to use spell gets sniped.Even Ainz said this was common tactic back in Yggdrasil.
The main story might be Ainz and PA go to dorf kingdom on a father/son bonding trip (he pretends to be Nabe) while Nabe, CZ and Entoma go to Dragonic Kingdom to remove beastman.
Ever heard of "making a name for yourself"?
The way that phrase came into being was that there was only one heir to the house and that heir would inherit the father's name.
Everybody else had to, quite literally, make a name for themselves.
This meant they had to come up with a last name and it was up to themselves to earn prestige for that name.
These people who were out there to make a name for themselves chose whatever sounded cool and that's how you end up with such long and flamboyant names.
There's also couple of more things slapped on top, in total the name could consist of things like...
>Name given by your faith
and several other not as common things, but those 4 were the main ones.
If there's a segment in E-Rantel, the ST might try to use the BS + external specialists to try and destabilize it. Or they might go after Momon or Ainz, if either openly heads to the dorf mountains.
So you would be like
Reverencer of Lolis
No Life King?
Making nuclear weapons is nigh impossible and pointless endeavour in the New World.
First of all, the cost of using it is too great.
You not only curse the land with the many deaths you create, but also poison the surrounding areas with radiation, which might have unforeseen consequenses, considering the magical nature of the world.
Second, the infastructure required to create it.
You need a whole lot of people with highly specialized expertise to actually research this matter. Considering the magical nature of the world, trying to define physics is going to be a whole lot different than what it is in our world.
This paired with the fact that you need to have a high level chemistry and mining facilities in order to be able to extract, regocgnize and catalogue the properties of all the elements you can work with.
Third is that starting such a costly developement is pointless.
There is already much more lucrative natural resource available to all nations and that is magic.
The difference between magic and technology is that magic is not bound by the same laws.
After all, why bother creating a rocket capable of reaching the moon when you can just teleport there?
Because the vast majority of people can't use it.
Have you forgotten that but for the appearance of players humanity would have been an extinct species of cattle? Even the most prodigious of human mages like Fluder aren't capable of rivaling a dragon or the evi tree.
If the NW inhabitants are at all intelligent, they'll finally realize that they've hopelessly lost the magic game to Ainz and start investing in technology instead.
Fucking... okay what are the 3 conditions / what's the deal behind the horn of the goblin general? c9p3 teases that shit repeatedly and keeps cutting off before giving the answer, does anybody know from the WN how it works?
Also, I don't suppose anyone here has an idea of if the blood emperor finds out right after his scheme falls through that his plans were 100% seen through and used against him? Or are we stuck waiting for vol10 to find out?
Considering how paranoid Ainz is, I think it's too weird for him to tell humans there's a weapon that could kill him and left it to said humans. It's likely a trap set by him for someone foolish enough to pick on Razor Edge and try to kill him.
Nothing indicate it was destroyed and the novel already said that game item could not be destroyed without special spell, no matter how strong the player or NPC was, just like how Albedo couldn't destroy her dress.
He said it was the minimum needed to kill him. So technically it could do 1 damage to him until his hp runs out.
...why. Why must this happen. Please enlightened this foolish one oh great ainz-sama.
Because they're cute, anon.
I want to teach Shizu about love.
"The pleasure of being cummed inside! Also dwarves"
To accomplish his goal, Ainz has founded his own independent country. However, his days are still filled with uncertainties. While looking for answers to the various questions in his mind, Ainz's efforts finally lead him to the Dwarves' kingdom in the Azerlisia mountains. What kind of new troubles await him there..?
Something like that.
No, reverse-satan, but Ainz probably said something like 'kill everyone that tries to harm Enri, Nfirea and Lizzie'.
She didn't intervened earlier because the villagers and the goblins weren't under Ainz's protection, and thus, she wasn't obliged to defend them. And since Enri saved herself by blowing the horn, she didn't need to save her either. But still, she killed any survivors because she felt like doing so.
Demiurge cosplays would need you to look cool by yourself and stand straight as fuck etc.
I mean Demiurge just has a pinstripe suit and pointy ears. If you're not a pussy magnet IRL you probably can't pull it off.
It hasn't even been a full day since
project endand I already feel like my strings have been cut.
Does anyone know which volume(s) the last BD side story takes place in or between?
Goblin musicians are basically drummers and a few trumpets I'd think. They probably don't know all that many tunes, the drums were probably to relay orders or something.
>before the goblin army
maybe 200 or so?
I dunno, but it was 5k goblins marching so I assumed it was some big imposing marching chant. Probably like something from a disney movie, but I can't remember which one it'd be.
Enri is a typical fucking woman, only managing to get into a position of power by blowing people's horns.
>Lupus gets a fight finally
>we don't even get a description of her weapon
nah they mentioned it was around 100 before the attack, they had around 30 humans, 19 Enri Gobs, 14 Agu(wild)gobs, and 3 ogres. They really shouldn't have lasted as long as they did against 5000 troops.
Anon rec'd I Shall Seal The Heavens its been filling the hole nicely.
Its got a selfish MC too but he's not as spooky as Ainz.
Knights and Magic was a good read on sky's site as well.
I might have to read real books at this rate
>blowing Ainz's horns
>get a magical goblin army like snow white's seven dwarfs
>The dwarves in vol 10 are afraid of the gob army enri has more than Ainz because they got antimagic skills or some shit.
They're not marching though, they're fighting. It's probably just a bunch of drumming telling right flank advance left archer flank fire etc.
Apparently in Ygg mechanics EXP leech makes you fucking swole as shit. She's gotta be at least level 20 by now.
The 5000 troops were shite morale and shite training with mostly shite levels trying to assualt an absolutely tiny breach in a massive wall
It feels like they held off for 5 minutes or so. I feel they could've kept holding for much longer if they just bottleneck'd at the gate.
yeah its crazy how much great stuff there is out there. I can usually just pick out a few from the latest updates section and find a pretty good one, even got into some more tolerable manwha.
Most of their army was in motion, so the gobs didn't even fight that many people at once. Plus the level 8+ gobs were neatly cutting through the level 1-2 peasants until they hit the Marquis' elites, then they started dying en masse.
>are goblin musicians any good?
>the drums were probably to relay orders or something.
Typically the musician type class would have the group wide movement speed boosts in an MMO along with some CC and debuffs primarily.
its a crozier though, it was described in the ogre attack in volume 8
Lupus probably toyed and crushed Barbro few dozen times and healed him up for the intent of bludgeoning him again. And Lupus probably got bored and finished him after he went catatonic and broken mentally.
>I feel they could've kept holding for much longer if they just bottleneck'd at the gate.
I suppose they wanted to make a distraction so Enri and co. could get away and figured that Barbro wouldn't send cavalry to hit Enri.
I thought for sure Jugem was going to die.
You don't seem to understand what I mean.
Magic exists, not as a power created by humans, but rather as a natural force.
If you treat it as a natural force to be leashed, rather than as a special ability that some individuals possess, then you'll take the first step towards magitech, which is just like regular technology, except it disregards laws of physics and thus is far more powerful as a result.
If you put equivalent amount of effort into developing new methods of both producing and applying magical power in productive manner as is needed to produce the atom bomb, you'll not only acquire far superior weaponry, but also gain access to research opportunities and methods inaccessible through conventional ways.
I'll all for wheel skeleton particle accelerators but we know this isn't the story for that. Though Ainz's space adventures with Demi, maybe turning the moon into an orbital bombardment device or such, would just be too out of place.
For the size of middle-age battles 4500 man and 500 riders is a pretty strong army. That kind of army against one village is an overkill. Size of armies in Overlord is unrealistically big. 250 000 man for Kingdom vs 70 000 for Empire? One of the largest middle ages battle was Battle of Grunwald and it was around 50 000 - 60 000 total. Battle of Kulikovo was like 50 000 for Russians and up to 150 000 for Mongols and it was united forces of all Russian duchies and allies vs whole Mongol forces AND mercenaries from controlled territories. Nothing like yearly event. Point for Maruyama - he at least tries to mention logistics, not just spawn forces from air.
So since Gazef lost instantly against Ainz, but Momon said he could probably take Ainz 1 on 1, does that mean Momon is stronger than Gazef? Or was he just underestimating how strong Ainz is?
He was just bluffing. Momon actually scared shitless before Ainz, that's why he agreed to become Ainz's dog. But I bet Ainz will take Nabe as a hostage in case Momon wants to rebel.
25-30 I guess? About as strong as a death knight, just without the magical tricks. A lot higher for psykers of course.
>conquer the moon
Would Teleport reach there? I suppose he could just fly a few undead too... Reminds of of an old game about druids building a magickal rocket.
Clementine was better than the Zeef.
The only reason Zeef was a target in v1 was because he was a strong support for the royal faction and Slane probably wanted the nobles to have more control.
Not sure why they couldn't fucking wait for BS to get back from their Dragon Lord hunt.
Teleport has a range limit IIRC. Greater Teleportation doesn't but doesn't allow interplanetary travel. Your best bet would be Portal or Gate since their mostly about world/planar travel.
I'd be interesting if they started working on a Nazi moon base.
>yeah, I look like this but I'm a really nice guy
>so I conquered a few nations and enslaved thousands and have a human skinning farm, so what?
>become my vassal
Zeef is 'muh king and country', he could have said 'I'll kill myself if you join me' and Zeef would still say no.
I felt pretty bad for Ainz before he summoned the dark young.
"Well...I guess I am the only one here. That sucks."
That's been his driving goal for pretty much his entire time in the NW and he's found shit.
Only in some areas. They didn't even have primitive surgery until Boastful Sage introduced it, despite it successfully treating afflictions that magic couldn't touch.
If it were really early 20th century then everybody would be using magitech rifles and maxim guns.
I thought it was clear that magic was pretty much always better at treating stuff than surgery. Primitive surgery killed a lot of people due to infection or general complications
You forget you're talking about dragon, sure they don't sustain themselves on humans but their wild magic requires souls as sacrifice. He ain't some golden savior angel either.
Magic can't treat all and any disease, but you can remove the diseased part and then heal the person.
Actual surgery is for cases when a strong enough healer can't get to you in time, but somewhat competent doctors can be reached.
>mfw that honorable PvP duel with Stronoff
>All that mutual respect and chivalry
My dick is so hard right now.
I had to check just how slow they actually are.
>Spice and Wolf's last volume came out in Japanese in July 2011
>Jew Press' last volume is set to be released on April 19, 2016
>What rang out was a basso profundo note that made the very land tremble.
>“We are… Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Heavy Infantry Corps! Don’t think something like this can stop us!”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Paladin-Knight Squad! Our loyalty belongs to General Enri!”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Beast Rider Corps are coming for you!”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Longbowman Corps! Don’t think you can escape from us!”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Magic Support Corps. Realize our power with your very body, and know that we can use not just enhancement or weakening magic, but attack magic as well.”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Magic Bombardment Squad! We specialize in area attack magic and are proud to be the squad with the greatest offensive capabilities!”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Assassin Squad. The reason we revealed ourselves from the darkness is because this will be your end.”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Bodyguard ― a member of the thirteen Redcaps. Well, I guess I won’t even have an opportunity to show off.”
>“Her Excellency, General Enri’s Goblin Musician Corps!”
>Enri's face when
10/10 great leader, would swear eternal allegiance to.
I assume it was shit in Yggdrasil because against high level enemies it wouldn't have been as effective. It only killed that whole army because they were all level 1-2 with the elites being only level 10 or so.
For some reason seeing it all blocked together reminds me of the trap archers from Underwater Ray Romano.
>The goblin troops, Kaijali and Jugem!
>Do you know
>What it is
>We like the most?
>Our warlord's gainz
>implying the gobbos would be doing the raping
>I wonder if this simple village girl would rebel against the guy who saved her life and her village
Maybe he'll get into a fight with Nfirea and wind up kidnapping him to Nazarick when Nfirea refuses to participate in some experiment Ainz wants him to do that he thinks is unethical. Then Enri will take her army and lead a rebellion against him, Climb and Brain will join too.
why do you guys think ainz will side with the loli to remove beastmen? its more likely that ainz will semi peacefully ally with the beastmen and lolidragon will experience more suffering and stress. eventually her champion will get nazarekt and she goes to beg for her people in front of the evil life hatiing skeleton king.
Ainz wants to learn about native magic, especially now that he can have Fluder to the investigating for him. There is no way he will pass up that opportunity.
The beastmen are already dead.
What does he have to gain by allying with the beastmen? He'd actually be better off killing them since he can get a bunch of strong bodies to make undead with. (That was his original goal in attacking the lizards as well.)
Ainz prefers peaceful negotiations, he can get more info on wild magic if he is on good terms with her, and if he kills beastmen, he will get great material for undead soldiers.
>so that guy who saved our village
>gave us workforce
>and has items that can summon an army
>how about I attack him
You say the dumbest shit.
So what? People die in war.
If you send people to fight a war expecting none of them to die, then it's your fault for being retarded.
It's not like Re-Estize Kingdom tried to solve this situation diplomatically either.
Also, why on earth would an autonomous collective that's not taxed or forcefully conscripted from want to rebel?
What would you rather want?
1. Random lvl 100 player, better PvPer than Ainz
2. Random 41 supreme being that isnt a level 100 guardian creating NPC (Touch Me, Ulbert, BukuBuku, etc)
3. 41 supreme being who did create one of the guardians.
4. Combination of above
I don't think any member of AOG will be transferred, seems the transfer is for those who stayed until the end.
I would prefer if AOG stays as the most powerful entity in the NW.
Because it'll undermine Slane Theocracy, provide him with higher level corpses, improve relations with his neighbours, secure trade and allow him to conduct combat experiments.
To him the optimal scenario is to stretch out that war as long as possible so Cocytus can truly learn warfare.
I choose 1,but I think it would be cool if it was someone Ainz knew, not from the guild but someone else, maybe a rival from another guil or someone who beat him at PvP or tied with him.
Herohero not being there could be a good thing to avoid internal conflict, but yeah, I wish some of the other original creators of AOG stayed.
>There had to be some other players on at the time. Might be on another continent.
Doubt it, they seem to be sent on intervals.
But if that's so, it will take a long time for the last player to reach the NW.
>knows wild magic
Come on, just thinking about some of these stupid theories for a few seconds isn't hard.
But what about the whole wild magic thing? He seems pretty tied up in it and it sounds like something that was around long before the players started showing up (which Yggdrasil magic would up somewhat supplanting for most people)
if you havent noticed ainz likes allying with intelligent monsters and the smart monsters are smart enough to realize o shit this guys strong as fuck im in
he gave the kill order for lizards cause he just saw them as stupid lizards to be used in experiments now he knows better
its only the stupid humans who think they have a chance in hell
The beastmen don't really strike me as smart monsters though. They're just a big mass of tribes that don't seem all that civilized (though admittedly I'm extrapolating a lot from a small bit of one intermission)
Eh, initially he just intended to use the lizardmen as fodder to test his troops and undead creation materials. He only made them vassals because Cocytus seemed to want it.
Though he did do the same with the monsters in the forest... I guess he didn't really have much reason to go out of his way to depopulate them though.
Well what I mean is what value do the beastmen give to Nazarick? He could use them as shock troops of course but he already has better stuff for that purpose, and he can just as easily reanimate their corpses after killing them. Their culture doesn't seem advanced enough to give him much meaningful infrastructure, tech, or intel. About the best he could hope for would be to use them as a scapegoat/instigator by keeping their relationship secret and sending them to fuck with human cities or something
>>133561642 here, that was all of it.
Or, well, not exactly "all" since I left out the two lines on the left.
>Facing new developments
>in Volume 10
Anyway, all you need to know is that
Akemi, humanoid player (d.elf) and younger sister of Yorumaiko (the teacher? supposed creator of Yuri).
Though I suppose it would be odd if she had been visiting AOG after the player numbers dwindled down to the Momonga + 3 inactives and that was during the last years.
Well, maybe she could have logged in for last day reminiscence and sucked in.
Has there even been any evidence it was stolen from AOG? Currently as it stands with what's known in LN (I have no idea of WN), the 12th world class item could have been what was used to build the secret of 8th Floor.
>He only made them vassals because Cocytus seemed to want it.
He wanted Cocytus to step in and object against the kill order and suggest they were turned into subordinates. This was stated pretty clearly along with some disappointment at Cocytus not managing to do it properly and relief that Demiurge stepped in and managed to solve it.
Since the only notion comes from snippets in the 3rd vol treasury where Ainz notes that they used to have 12th but of course Albedo/Pandora wouldn't know about it. Nothing about stealing or "losing" it involuntarily.
>Ainz nodded. That was the number of World Class items which Ainz Ooal Gown possessed. He did not know that there was one World Class item 『Atlas』 which had been taken from them in the past.
It feels more like stolen since Ainz is speaking of whole guild.
>Climb finds out Sebas is a follower of Ainz
>Climb finds out Renner real face
>Climb finds out he has been used
>Climb find out tga Brain do give 2 shits about him
Climb becomes a super villian.
hes been happily accepting anyone who swears loyalty to him even if they provide no real benefits like fluder hamsuke or the dryad
yeah fluders the best mage and etc but ainz dosent care about that its more what fulder did in front of ainz than his reputation. if a random hobo ran up and immediately swore loyalty he would accept it cause thats how he is.
when presented with an unexpected choice he defaults to the path of least resistance.
its part of a mmo players mindset where you just spam space until they stop talking then you look at the quest bar and go collect 10 rat turds
Hmm, true. Didn't remember they used "taken" specifically for that line and I have no raws to check.
But yeah, I doubt Akemi played part in that as the high-end mines they lost were also something they was because of an unified attempt.
Yeah, someone already corrected my faulty memory; remembered that they "used to have Atlas but they lost it".
Though it's still bit vague if it was stolen or used or whatnot.
So going back to revisit the scene have a list of 12.
2. Albedo's (the official guild sanctioned one)
3. Albedo's (the one secrectly given by Tabula)
4. Greed And No Desire
5. The Cup of Hygeia
6. Memory Blade
7. Painting of Life
8. Left in Treasury (Presumably one of the 20 since Ainz mentions they won't be taken out unless they know how/where to re-obtain them after use)
9. Same as above
12. Atlas ("Lost)
Did I miss anything? One of the Unknowns being related to 8th Floor?
Well hopefully he can pull of a stunt to restructure the Kingdom properly. Though I have my doubts how much Renner will be either helping or pulling tricks on him for that quest.
The brother is going to be the face of the kingdom,Renner is going to be the mastermind behind the kingdom,it's even better because now that Noble faction is pretty much fucked her policies might actually get approved
That'd be counting on Renner trying to polish her image to Climb though. I really doubt she is interested in anything else at this point.
Might as well strike a deal with Demi so that Jaldabaoth "kidnaps" the fair princess and Climb has to set on a quest to gather a heroic party to go save her from the wildlands between Holy Kingdom and Kingdom/ST.
Renner's a wildcard but Climb seems to absolutely adore any '4thekingdom' actions of her. As for stunts, we could get something like just firing up plans to make the Kingdom run smoothly more or less and have Ainz send an autospawn (a suicide vampire bride maybe, and have it 'kill' a DK for danger level+) for the Kingdom's elite forces to quickly contain and kill.
Vampire brides are more or less Brain-tier. The only problem is Brain might realize 'o shit these chicks were with Shalltear lemme just ask around for her'.
I find it incredibly interesting that Climb is said to be a mini-Gazef, since as far as I'm seeing Climb is basically a wannabe hero who wants to wet his cock. Gazef's incredibly obnoxious with MUH HONOR and MUH KING AND COUNTRY but Climb more or less is a moralfag who prioritizes his hime-sama above all else. Climb doesn't even know she's capable (i.e. not a 'pls protect me beeg guy' stereotypical hime), let alone that she's psychotic.
>passive aura instead of stomping everything to death
>LEVEL FUCKING EIGHTY-TWO
>"contained" by the Kingdom
I say vamp bride because it's impressive but believable. Nobody is going to believe the Kingdom suppressed something around the level of Jalda or a Dark Young (in their eyes).
Probably because he's too green to know that the p0n0s goes into to vag00. I remember him thinking about how nice it'd be if he could marry her while regretting it's impossible.
The difference between Gazef and Climb is that both are, let's say, a standard of sorts.
Gazef carries himself like he would believe everyone loyal to the Kingdom should act. Unbending if not foolish and always choosing what the ideal should be.
Climb on the other hand doesn't think about himself, at all. His very being is about how his actions or inaction reflect on Muh Hime. Nothing else, he's like remote tumor in different side of a body.
Does this mean we will see no more of Best Son for months (if at all) ?
Just kill me
I think you hit the nail on the head, and I also think that's why he's so annoying.
You get the idea that he doesn't even exist as a person, he exists as an extension of a mask of someone else. Like, Gazef has his likes and dislikes, a style of fighting, men loyal to him and men who hate him, and all of it actually affects his character.
Climb...doesn't. He has likes and dislikes, a style of fighting, men loyal to him, men who hate him, but it doesn't affect his character at all - his entire character is an extension of the Princess he sees, which isn't even the real princess.
I remember the first time playing FSN, Shirou was terribly obnoxious (sort of like Climb) up until the point where you realized that he knew he was a piece of shit and realized his contradition. Climb is Shirou who's not attached to an ideal but a person and furthermore a Shirou who doesn't realize he's being retarded and absolutely refuses to even consider the possiblity that Renner isn't perfect, to the point he assumes he knows her better than her own brother.
Albedo moves on her own and loves Ainz deeply, but that doesn't stop her from doing whatever she wants as long as it doesn't go against Ainz' orders.
>Momonga was actually just another NPC created by Touch Me with the fictitious backstory of being the guild leader, after he stepped down himself
>His obsession over his "comrades" is actually just the same loyalty imprinting that we've already seen from all the other residents of Nazarick
All he had to do was write that he was another player and a few lines about his job in the real world. When the NPC gained sentience it would fill in the blanks itself, the same way all the others have.
If you've realized there are people who hate Albedo and people who love Albedo. Sort of like there's people who hate Climb and love Climb. Both are unrealistically single-minded and both can be obnoxious. It more or less hinges on whether or not you find their single-mindedness annoying which in turn hinges on what they revolve around and how they revolve around it.
Albedo is maddened love and overwhelming lust.
Climb is moralfaggotry and a determination to never make his hime look bad.
