Who /batoru/ here? Also, Akira best girl.
Selector Stirred Wixoss Chapter 02 First draft
Sorry for the lateness. If Stirredanon was here we could talk, but now I just need to go back and read the last thread and all the posts I skipped. And wow, this is one heck of a design. I think I actually saw someone post a card of her before I got to this. There's just something about a mixed media project with a card game that's extra special.
So, let's make this clear pals.
We are supposed to have two threads a month in the weekends because at that time it's most likely we have new material to discuss.
Also, keep in mind having constantly threads don't make sense anymore since we already have exhausted almost every single topic that goes from narrative to visual & cinematographic discussions. At this point we better wait for the final releases for Re/verse and let's just keep the pace like we have been doing, it's only matter of time (3 months) so we actually get spoilers of the movie.
Then finally wait 2 years to get the subs and such ;_;
Here it is, the last chapter of Re/verse:
And Mayu's Bullying Room chapter 04:
Let's try to keep this thread alive so that Akatsukin see these chapters.
I supose I'm the anon who made one of those threads a couple of days ago (going to watch ep 10 of Spread right now, will probably give my two final cents later when I finish the whole thing)
Is this show really that overseen and has such a small fandom? O do you try to hold the discussion/new theads on check to not go "meduka General thread Nr. 489345009"-retarded?
So far, I'm hooked. This show REALLY gives you the urge to rewatch Kamen Rider Ryuki.
Threadly reminder that Remember a shit.
a spooky gead girl
Damn Japan and its
I can now understand people form the last thread complaining that the second cour doesn't sell it as well as the first one. Still, the main characters (tama, Yuki and Ruu) keep the show floating.
I was rooting and pretty sure that last boss would be
some Wixoss evil game corp, now I see I was very wrong.
It took 24 episodes for the sexiest semen demon to appear.
I can understand the spin offs and the oncoming movie in an alternate universe. But athird season? For what purpose?
that last episode of Spread could have sealed so many open details in a more nicer way (whatever happened with the other girls besides a 0ne-second shot)
I liked the acknowledgement of pretty much every single LRIG and Selector. I just wish there was a bit more hope that some of the pairs would meet once again and be friends or something. We see Midoriko and Hitoe, and the slightest encounter of Eldora and Chiyori, but then Futase and Fumio pass by each other. I want them to meet and come to terms with everything. I love the satisfaction and catharsis that comes with letting the characters know the whole truth that the audience knows.
>Is this show really that overseen and has such a small fandom? O do you try to hold the discussion/new theads on check to not go "meduka General thread Nr. 489345009"-retarded?
Not him, but we used to have spin-off materials to discuss: Peeping Analyze and the story behind the stoic Piruluk and the craziest wild ride of Re/verse. But now these two are gone and we are left only with Mayu's Bully Room, Stirred and Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans because Okada.
>Mayu wants to batoru but her Selectors won't let her
I also find it funny that in both Mayu's Room and Stirred there are girls who are intentionally ignored on Line. Okada knows how to keep adding little jokes and references to everything, and it's abundantly clear how involved she still is in the card game considering all of this Stirred stuff.
WIXOSS in general had a very atmospheric OST which helped the whole series also you could consider the musical direction very appropiate for the series. The proof of these are a lot of scenes which you can't think without an specific track, it's deep buried in your head.
>this thread is still alive
Its a card game and app, and a movie plus manga all in under two years with okada, a huge name right now, attached. It needs more seasons to sell packs. Plus pic related.
>yfw this screenshot foretold it after all
Was Hanayo the real winner of Selector?
She get a boyfriend when the other girls are too busy saving the world.
>s this show really that overseen and has such a small fandom?
No, /a/ is really a bad place for anime discussion, the catalog is 50% waifus threads and the other 50% are 3x3 threads
Stating facts is bullshit now?
I never said it's Wixoss. It just would be a funny coincidence.
The good stuff is on Twitter.
What shit piss wish did Chorizo wished for?
I would have skipped her whole pointless arc and give more screentime to the writer selectir.
I have no idea how to navigate twitter, and its even more confusing with moonrunes.
I just want a Tama dressed as Madoka, Iona as Homu. I might just commission it at this point.
It was an ok show that really gets you by the balls during Infected (ep 9-12) and let you go off slowly in the last quarter of Spread.
I'm kind of pissed they made
Uliththe ultimate scapegoat villain and let Mayuscot-free. Forgetting loony Akira and what would happen with her and Iona ( the REAL Iona, not some lgir in her body)was important, but could have been adressed better at the end of the show. Same goes for the twincest kek. Sure, they could address this stuff in the oncoming movie, but then you won't have any movie plot at all. Maybe an Ova, but who knows.
Another question: How did Hitoe manage to make friends in the second cour if she got
"reverse-wished" to never have friends as she lost the match.
Whoever designed this box is a genius. Once you open it you are greeted by Akira's evil stare.
And adding from my earlier post in >>133144874 , any mention/comparisom of Kamen Rider Ryuki is a compliment on my book So yeah, it was a pretty cool show, might watch the movie and maybe read a good spin-off that's closed. Fuck learning to play the game. Magic the Gathering took all my inner BATTERU and shekels as I was a lad.
You weren't the only one with Kamen Rider Ryuki stuff. I wanted Akira go full Ouja when she stabbed Ulith making her the real final boss of the series.
I still dont get the LRIG trash on the bottom of it though
Ruu followed more or less Shinji's path, besides her happyness in battling.
>Ok, I'll fight
>why are we fighting baaw
>I fought and it was terrible
>I'll fight to stop the fighting!
Just put an address of forwarding company insted of yours, they will collect all orders and ship to you. They do charge you, but they can make several boxes into one, and amazon often spreads orders into several boxes, so you are not even losing anything.
>Hitoe and friends etc.
I wonder how many times I've answered what I gathered from the series. Well I'm glad you liked it, first of all. Alright, so anyway, you know how Mayu was presumably just a normal girl, perhaps with only a little bit of power (as seen by her flashbacks of her life, unless the guys who compare M3 to Wixoss or SSY are here)? She was able to create the Selector system around Wixoss, an already existing game. She imposed her will, her despair, on all of the girls in the outside world. Now later in the series we see Ruuko break the system by forcing Yuki to level 5, something unprecedented. This makes a basis for other girls being able to overwrite the system. If you start from there and go back, it's not actually so strange that Hitoe's strong will was able to overcome Mayu's curse. The entire thing was psychological anyway; too bad for Akira and her scar. Actually, it may be that positive wishes/curses are reversible, but negative ones are not. I don't think we've ever considered that possibility before.
>buy a pre-made deck
>nobody to play of course
Welp, at least I than look like a weeaboo when I resolve Gideon.
