At this point we better wait for the final releases for Re/verse and let's just keep the pace like we have been doing, it's only matter of time (3 months) so we actually get spoilers of the movie. I liked the acknowledgement of pretty much every single LRIG and Selector. I just wish there was a bit more hope that some of the pairs would meet once again and be friends or something. We see Midoriko and Hitoe, and the slightest encounter of Eldora and Chiyori, but then Futase and Fumio pass by each other. I want them to meet and come to terms with everything. I love the satisfaction and catharsis that comes with letting the characters know the whole truth that the audience knows.

I also find it funny that in both Mayu's Room and Stirred there are girls who are intentionally ignored on Line. Okada knows how to keep adding little jokes and references to everything, and it's abundantly clear how involved she still is in the card game considering all of this Stirred stuff.

WIXOSS in general had a very atmospheric OST which helped the whole series also you could consider the musical direction very appropiate for the series. The proof of these are a lot of scenes which you can't think without an specific track, it's deep buried in your head.

It was an ok show that really gets you by the balls during Infected (ep 9-12) and let you go off slowly in the last quarter of Spread.

I'm kind of pissed they made Ulith the ultimate scapegoat villain and let Mayu scot-free. Forgetting loony Akira and what would happen with her and Iona ( the REAL Iona, not some lgir in her body) was important, but could have been adressed better at the end of the show. Same goes for the twincest kek. Sure, they could address this stuff in the oncoming movie, but then you won't have any movie plot at all. Maybe an Ova, but who knows.

Another question: How did Hitoe manage to make friends in the second cour if she got "reverse-wished" to never have friends as she lost the match.

I wonder how many times I've answered what I gathered from the series. Well I'm glad you liked it, first of all. Alright, so anyway, you know how Mayu was presumably just a normal girl, perhaps with only a little bit of power (as seen by her flashbacks of her life, unless the guys who compare M3 to Wixoss or SSY are here)? She was able to create the Selector system around Wixoss, an already existing game. She imposed her will, her despair, on all of the girls in the outside world. Now later in the series we see Ruuko break the system by forcing Yuki to level 5, something unprecedented. This makes a basis for other girls being able to overwrite the system. If you start from there and go back, it's not actually so strange that Hitoe's strong will was able to overcome Mayu's curse. The entire thing was psychological anyway; too bad for Akira and her scar. Actually, it may be that positive wishes/curses are reversible, but negative ones are not. I don't think we've ever considered that possibility before.
