Well, thinking about Dennis theories read: headcanons and fanfiction I like to think that it's partly because he's a foreigner. He might stand out a bit more, but stuff like being out of touch with everything that's going on in the dimension could be more easily explained. He also seems to be one of the very few people who don't seem to mind working together with Yuuri, so that helps too. Or maybe it's just because of his natural charm.

Shun vs Dennis second duel wasn't even hype since the duel itself sucked, the Heartland exposition was the only good part.

I was more interested in Ruri, the Heartland flashbacks, and seeing the Heartland Invasion being told from Dennis' point of view, than I was about that duel. Especially since Dennis vs Shun 2nd duel was just a budget version of Sora vs Shun in terms of how the duel actually went down.

The only difference is that Dennis didn't win the rematch, and in his first duel, he needed Shun to be handicapped by starting with 1000 LP to even stand a chance and still basically lost that duel because of Revolution Falcon at the end.

Shun has only had two hype duels: him vs LDS Trio and to a greater extent, him vs Sora in their first duel. The rest of his duels were shit since they were generally against fodder (Obelisk Force/Security), sucked (both Dennis duels) or was skipped over (the second duel with Sora).

Really that long? I checked back at the MCS Battle Royale for the closest reference and the Jobelisk Force along with Sora/Yuri invasion started and ended around from 44-49 so about 5 episodes.

I guess you're right. Still that would only push us into mid-March, not late April. I gave Selena vs. Yugo 2 episodes to give the plot some margin to work with going by the apparent examples of duels including bits of it interspersed together like with Shun/Dennis & Crow and Shun's upcoming duel.

Actually, I counted up until 53, since Synchro Arc didn't really start before episode 54. Even though the OP changed by then already.

Climax+Arc resolution took about 9 episodes too. Plus there's still the thing with Trashtown, which we'll probably get another two episodes of.

Also, doubt Serena vs Yugo will be two-parters. They didn't make Yuzu vs Sergay nor Sawatari vs Yugo two-parters, so I doubt they'll make one for Serena.

There's not much to sell yet from Serena either, since if it actually happens, this will be her first duel that she'll actually finish.

Shun trying to catch Dennis with a Fusion in hand meant NOTHING since we all knew Dennis was evil since episode 46 anyway whereas with Sora, it was still ambiguous as whether he was actually evil or just a red herring/merely suspicious looking.

The duel sucked but the Heartland flashbacks and Ruri saved it, and even then only the second half was actually interesting or relevant.

These are the same dubbers who translated Tsukikage's name LITERALLY, if his dub name is the same as the French(?) name. In regards to Sora, sometimes they keep names for some reason and other times they randomly change them. On the topic of Tsukikage dub name, who names their kid Moon Shadow? That sounds like a codename or a title than an actual name. At least Dipper could attempt to pass as an actual name (even if it sounds silly) but Moon Shadow is like if google translating a name and making it the dub name.
