The rushed ending due to being axed sucked. But no I'm not really angry anymore. The probability of mandrake end would be close to zero if it continued because best girl never wins
I never got why people are mad about this.
When I read Mx0 I didn't know about it's reputation and I just read it as mediocre series that was sort of entertaining. It was a generic shounen battle manga with the same joke repeated indefinitely.
To be honest I think it deserved to be cancelled. It was an okay read, but it was going nowhere and nothing really going for it.
>it's not naruto levels of retarded so we better axe it
nipped in the bud before it could show its worth is all, had a premise that isn't as generic as most and seemed like a fun idea
Seriously Japan, fuck you.
I wouldn't exactly say 20ish chapters is enough, hell that barely allows time for any character intros
It wasn't great so I didn't mind, but I loved the artstyle. Hope the mangaka will try something else.
Also, I'm still almost certain he did hentai before but I can't remember his H penname. God damnit.
>Of the 6 characters in the entire manga, the ones that are in love with each other don't get together and it is quickly ended in an ambiguous "what does the future hold?" ending
Why was Pajama na Kanojo cancelled, /a/? It had so much potential.
Why did it feel like the auhor didn't know it was getting cancelled until the final chapter?
>Final arc was announced
>"Waaah, it was cancelled muh favorite mango"
>Cock hungry cousin
>Parasite inside of the mc that wants him to be inside her
>Another parasite that gets healed by the mc and wants his cock
>Oppai ojou-sama who the mc spares after she challenges him to a fight
>Ends after all of this is set up for another 100 chapters of parasite fighting shenanigans
FUCK OFF JAPAN
It had some good moments.
After Anedoki she had like 4 serializations,
G-Maru was shit and cancelled.
One about a ninja girl and a shota is finished but not entirely translated.
Another about baseball but only one chapter translated.
There's another I think but I don't know/can't remember.
>10 more chapters and all the problems could've been sorted out
>Waifu could have been 4 laifu, but the author cut it short, so their problems were never resolved
>Instead, the MC and girl go their separate ways
>Karin continues doing highschool things
>MC goes back to radish farming
This had fucking potential.
The mc's were a Japanese cannibalistic pirate and a fucking Korean homicidal surgeon. Eating bitches and skinning them.
Sad it was cut short. I'd kill a man to see what could've been.
Wasn't cancelled, but the author forced an end because he was intimidated with the government.
I wish the ride could be longer.
I don't give a shit about Nisekoi, the author is just not very good so something safe like Nisekoi suits him well, Double Arts has an interesting premise for a short story not for a long serialization which is what Jump wants.
Yes, I did read the manga that started as some kind of Sket Dance, then added school festivals and superpowers like any other shounen battle manga and THEN became good with the minus arc and Ajimu shenanigans.
Did YOU read the manga?
Still mad about Kokushi Musou
Ended on chapter 12 after the best girl was shown. It's implied that he fucks and impregnates the 2 parasistences, his cousin, and the ojou-sama, and they live together off of ojou-sama's money. It hurts that all we got, though, was 1/4th of the page implying harem ending.
at first it was generic story, then Nisio converted it in a generic battle shonen to save his ass, and then they've introduced that edgy ass that always lose so losers that read it can feel identified with him, the story was never original nor good.
Shamo got fucked by licensing issues.
The last part with the twins/brothers were completely garbage.
Was this cancelled or just really rushed and short?
>Hope the author will get better and continue
>Passed away a month ago
Why do you have to remind me, anon?
I was having a good day.
What a fucking waste. This could have given way to a new fetish. Tape best grill.
>The tongue will never be used to its full potential in a doujin
We should have dropped the third nuke.
Cancelled? Hiatus? I'd just be happy with one more chapter
Found it, the artist is DOUMOU
The h-manga in question is Risou no Battery
As I said before, he's not the same guy, I just remembered the styles could've looked similar.
Now that I compare them they're not.
>Passed away a month ago
>I'm sorry I have a terminal illness and can't continue with my work.
I agree. That ending was fucked, though. The tentacles are the cock-hungry cousin, after ingesting an evil parasistence. This literally is the final chapter, after they showed the existence of not only other parasistences, but evil ones as well.
Holy shit, really? MC had a hard life. He needs redemption.
Also, they never really explained why the stalker girl did what she did. She smashed his melons, and it "ended" before it was ever explained.
Just too much suffering, I guess.
>Passed away a month ago
Tell me you're lying, anon. This is not funny at all.
>THEN became good with the minus arc and Ajimu shenanigans.
What are you talking about? The only reason people tought it was good was because of kumagawa, and he wasn't a very good character either.
This was physically painful to go through.
>Goes on haitus for 2 years
>Japanese cold, assumed dead forever
>Makes a miraculous comeback
>Author is still sick, decides to wrap up the manga
>nothing resolved, many elements seem forced by the end of the manga
I'm just sad. If you guys remember correctly the tournament at the end of the manga was a QUALIFIER for a larger tournament.
Well, I can rationalize this away by saying you saved me the disappointment, but still. Put the name of what you're spoiling next time, please.
And it really makes you think rushed ending and axed should be separate tags. Stuff like Koe no Katachi or Ai Kora don't really belong there.
>I've read about half of these manga and just now finding out about their fate
Don't remember me. Korean Guts was really great.
No way man, at the current rhythm, we'll see Guts again by december
I bet nobody even remebers this.
Back in the day, it was either Meister or Kuroko no Basuke battling for the "sports manga" spot in WJS, after Eyeshield 12 ended.
We got the fujoshit.
Oh that ended... that was a good manga. Reminds me of blood lad. Ok just read the last chapter and she went back home. They kiss right before. He goes into her world....wtf, can he transport and shit or he can't go back into the demon world?
>we will never get a good kendo manga because "muh tradition and sacredness"
>Author wrote himself to a corner and didn't have the skills to continue.
>Literally was going into the black card and had lined up the 3rd years entering into the plot
>Writing himself into a corner
Stop making shit up. Raildex was a huge success and Touma is practically Taiga's reincarnation.
That was so much fun too
I think it's overrated
I can't for the life of me remember what that's from, but I know I read it. So Most likely that deserved what it got.
At least it had enough time to ends its story.
Well the last arc of that series was a god damn train wreck. Mars was so good though. I miss Jack Raken.
Yeah this I really wish got to be played out more.
Tail Star was cancelled? What? Shit.
Oh yeah that was pretty fun. I kinda miss it.
I kinda wish for more Gan-Kon that series made me laugh quite a bit.
Didn't the last season air before the author die? Anyway, I googled out this
so hope is left.
After all these years they are actually going to finish it.
Yes, it was announced the ending few weeks ago, I'm really mad because of this.
Anime has been "expensive advertising" for a long time now. What's really frustrating is when you get shit like
>Manga adaption starts around the time anime adaption starts
>Manga gets like 8 chapters and dies
No just stalled by the author just to play fucking dragon quest and requesting an sick leave because of his hands hurting from playing dragon quest. And still playing dragon quest.
Which chapter was that?
Source? I thought it was high quality last time I read it. And the nips like the guy no? He made that doujin with the same plot but with DQ characters, that is why he got a manga series.
This is literally true though.
The last volume was published this year, after Hiroe got poor again. Those who follow his social media and blog can easily tie Black Lagoon production into his other design work in regards to production.
This is it. The artist was apparently ill or something for a few years, releases 2 chapters then nothing again... so sad
>axed after 1 chapter
I know is generic but Hisasi art is worth.
I remember seeing a thread on /a/ forever ago about this being canceled or almost over or something. Not sure if it actually got canceled or the author just wanted something short.
Shame it will never finish being translated.
She gets better.
This one, it was pretty gay but I liked the idea of a genius mc.
That artist had decent art design and a way to keep the reader interested. Whether or not he had enough material to work with (which I doubt he can possibly run out) canceling it was a shit decision.
Prison School is good, but come on this was pretty sweet
Fuck that shit
I posted this yesterday. I'm still angry that I just founded out it got canceled right on its third volume. I was so drawn into the art and the MCs ;_____;
As the dude said, this is currently being published.
The magazine was culled. It was supposed to have an extra volume or two before Douman ended it. He has a way of sewing things together, so I imagine more binding chapters.
D.Gray and HxH were very well established when they went on hiatus, Iris Zero, while established, doesn't have the sales that they did. As such, it will probably be axed, assuming the editors don't decide the hiatus is just too long and axe it anyways
No translations, either.
What a waste.
Hey guys, remember times when Kubo was actually able to write good story and kill his characters?
>H-arts going from full blown porn to just cock teasing Non-H stuff
That's a tragedy in its own.
I don't know what happened, but it hasn't updated in nearly a year so it might as well be cancelled.
STILL NOT CANCELLED
Just eternal hiatus because of Japanese Cold.
Because he realized an original work is going to get axed while generic pieces of shit make the big money. He then collected every single cliche from romantic comedies in every media he could into his playbook to form Nisekoi but never give it any payoff as his revenge
Fantastic fuck everything last chapter, mediocre otherwise.
Those fucking legs and faces, get back to Hentai you glorious fuck your story was edgy and boring.
Hated every second of this
Was really shitty but in a B-movie kind of way
Never understood the hype nor why it continues to be so high on English manga reader sites. That one dude that died in the earthquake made some really great hentai of it though.
Hated every millisecond
Was ridiculously generic and had the worst implementation of magnetic powers I remember. Truly the Black Clover of its day.
Oh dang that's sad, I really like the mangaka's art. Need to catch up with it and Cloth Road.
I'm still not sure what happened with this, but damn, I'm willing to see this finished.
I just really don't jive well with sport or sport-like manga where the MC starts off as utter shit. Add in the forgettable art and lack of decent humor and I just couldn't get into it.
It's heavily implied that Stalker-chan was unfairly blamed for that incident (Imouto seems to be guilty about it) or that her actions were misinterpreted.
Too bad we'll never know. This had potential. Even the aunt seem to be lusting for his cock due to his uncanny resemblance to her Onii-chan. Really sucks.
Action Idols is in a webcomic format, which is interesting but it takes forever to get anywhere. Latest chapter was pretty good though, got to see part of the MCs true power
If you want spoilers
you won't know why they are there, the masked guy at the beginning will appear one more time and do nothing and the more important thing: the ending is open.
In summary, all the important questions won't be answered.
Nevertheless, it's a good story and I'm pretty sure you will enjoy the ride.
Really bad. The story felt like it was halfway to the ending but it ends out of nowhere with only one mystery getting answered.
Yeah, auntie definitely had a thing for MC, even though she treated him like shit.
She couldn't forgive her brother for leaving her and marrying some whore. Worse, he died before she could reconcile with him. So now she transfers all her mixed-up, pent-up feelings to her nephew who is the spitting image of her brother.
Gimme my end of the world girls doing girly things mango, not Nice Koi.
Shit, so many questions left unanswered because of Axe.
I'll never know what Imouto was hiding about the incident all those years ago. We'll never know what Stalker-chan did back then, nor why she was living in squalor. We won't know what Yandere Aunt had in mind. We'll never know if MC's best Bro (glasses-kun) was friend or foe. Whether if MC's highschool crush would ever stop her autism and actually ask him out.
I hate not knowing.
Worse yet, NEVER knowing.
Nao was a fucking mess too. Virtually every female in his inner-circle was borderline-yandere and positioning themselves for the Naobowl. would have liked to have seen Nao break down even further.
It wasn't explicitly axed. Well actually neither of us live in Japan so for all we know the author did announce that this series is cancelled.
I do remember reading a comment on another site about it coming back in autumn but I fear this >>132376697 is referring to that comeback.
Aoi best girl
Artist got sick back in '06. But the author went on to write for Kamen Rider and has been there since. He's probably not coming back and it's been almost a decade waiting so I've all but given up on Beet.
Sister killed the parents. It's obvious when you think about it. She did it to have MC all to herself.
I don't quite remember which chapter, but here's the page for you.
Rushed ending, but I guess this page is satisfying for an epilogue series.
Don't even remind me. I really enjoyed that manga, but with those long breaks because he's sick, it really makes me worry if he will die anytime or if the manga will get axed because people might forget about it (one break was almost 1 year old).
Thank you for literally posting that post's filename
Nisekoi's mangaka is a very solid fantasy writer stuck doing non-progressing romance bullshit because it's what finally sold.
This is what makes me so sad about kaze no stigma, I want to read the books because I really enjoyed the anime, but knowing he passed away before he was able to finish the series really kills my drive.
Remembering that oneshot had me pretty excited for the manga when it first came out
Still fucking mad. I read 100+ chapters for that stupid shit rushed ending
>The rumor is that it was the company holding the rights for Doraemon that brought down the hammer.
That's the same company that published the magazine. The author had all the rights he needed to write it, people complained because lewd.
It was good but it wasn't all that original either. As you said, it's romeo and juliet with yakuza.
That page was so satisfying, too.
Slipping sales which means rushed the fuck out.
>No more pissing lolibot
For some reason, this actually makes me disappointed.
>Hey look I finally made something that isn't garbage!
>Meh, I'm already bored of it, RUSHED ENDING
>Make premise about a giant titted loli
>She even seems interested in the MC
>Quickly drop that and make her a side character for the bland romance between the male MC and the generic tsundere
Yeah I can see why this was canned and rushed out
Can't really blame them for wanting to rush this ending, the author lost his marbles with that second half.
This got axed pretty badly and it was rather nice
>Cancel this and replace it with a decent one shot
>One shot gets serialized as SWOT
>It loses its appeal in the first 5 chapters
>That too gets canceled
Sometimes I wish I can hate you to death Shonen Jump
