>then subs almost instantly
What're the chances that Polygon will deliver on this?
Well, considering the immortal council was known to have backup clones (they mention how Saitou's was destroyed during Ochiai's bullshit and that he elected not to have a new one grown) she likely had a photosynthesizing replacement body made, then had her brain transplanted into the new body.
>there are people on /a/ who watch anime without reading manga
>they watching it with shitsubs intead raw
I was already somewhat curious about Miss Marvel, as it seems to break up the usual capeshit tropes and cliches, but if there are Nihei fans hiding amongst the writers/artists, that might just seal the deal.
Any /co/mrades present to attest to its quality?
>last week's episode is a continuation from ep12 of S1
>the movie is a compilation of 12 eps plus some new scenes
Based Ochiai (the new Kunato) has impregnated Ena Hoshijiro. They got a child —Tsumugi.
Traced this in case anyone wants to use it for whatever.
It's honestly much more worthwhile to read the manga. The anime skips huge chunks of the story, including whole generations of new mech, as well as some really interesting battles and out-of-battle character interactions. The art style starts off a bit 'eh,' but it improves quickly.
Still, if you have an interest in the anime, go ahead and finish it. Just be aware that if you want to read the manga you really cannot just skip to the chapter corresponding to the episode you watched.
Here's your reply
>tfw we'll never get Sidonia by Trigger
>it'd be perfect.
>in charge of decent animation
Little Witch Academia was good, but it was a one-off short, and while I'm out of the loop on it's sequel's production, I'm sincerely hoping it's going to be a short as well.
Trigger proved with KlK that they cannot handle a full 25 episode series, budget-wise. The animation quality went to shit really fucking fast.
I'm saying this as someone who thinks Nui's weird not-quite animated method of movement was fitting for the character, because it does a good job of making her unsettling and out-of-place in her scenes, in a good way. Unfortunately, the cheap-ass laze animation tricks don't start or end with her.
It's not even the lack of budget (that happened to Rolling Girls). Trigger simply don't know how to use their budget. They kept doing showy and expensive shit, then fell back to bare minimum as soon as they ran out of cash.
The BD box looks kinda neat. Too bad the anime is garbage.
Is this show any good, or do people just like it ironically? I tried watching the first episode way back when it had first aired, and didn't continue with it because the animation seemed ugly (CGI) and they were talking about SJW topics (transgenderism). Does it get better or is this anime just not for me?
You clearly don't understand what Izana is. She is biologically neither, the 3rd gender develops the sexual characteristics to produce offspring with their partner. It's sci-fi, not SJW.
>mfw the tentacles didn't even go inside Nagate's pants
I think that's the most detailed facial animation they've done so far. At least the classic anime dark gradient looks alright, their attempt at an embarrassed blush was awful.
It's a cool concept done in the most bland uninteresting way possible
The story goes no where, the characters barely develop, less + less interesting + more pointless space battles, the art in the manga gets worse and you never get to learn a lot about the ship.
Only watch for a really shitty harem
And that changes anything? Nope, there is nothing drastic she does cause of that which isn't just what they were doing before, fighting space dicks with new equipment every now and then
This would be true except that in the story itself we never see them really do anything other than sit there. This scene would have had an impact if he had included a few scenes over the course of the story of them actually interfering with her or doing anything at all rather than sit in their bedroom all day complaining about how she wasn't doing what they wanted. They were at best 2ch of Sidonia.
The committee had existed for hundreds of years. The point is that they used to do thing democratically. Kobayashi said fuck that, because they would never approve of the use of chimeras etc.
They really felt like an idea he added but then had literally no idea what to do with them so went they all died. Even the Tsun-tron 300 did more and she is one of the most pointless characters ever
And he explained to you why that doesn't mean shit. We never see them have any effect no less on the plot. Their death has no effect especially cause no one knew about them anyway and appear powerless to stop shit either. they could have stuck around and agreed to chimeras and nothing would change
They basically about to offed Kobayashi themselves right after the existence of another chimera inside Sidonia news went public. Kobayashi just executed the coup right before them.
To inform the animefags, Nagate fucks the Captain for three whole days in the manga.
There has to be a sense of urgency for that to work though and these guys failed to provide that. She could have dealt with them by simply locking their door and cutting off their internet. I mean what would they have done?
>There has to be a sense of urgency
I can't say I agree. Most complaints and criticisms of a scheming character's actions is usually that they end up acting far too late for said action to matter, as in the urgency is -allowed- to escalate prior to action.
>Why didn't X kill Y when he was just a kid if he knew Y was special?
This was just nipping the bud before the bud even formed. Not very compelling of a story, but it still has narrative purpose.
Immortal Committee were the ones who forced the captain the make Tanikaze sortie every battle.
They wanted him to perish in battle because of his immortality. They also had their own little escape pod set up during the whole asteroid battle (or maybe it was another battle? The anime has scrambled my memories of the manga) A committee of immortals, granted said immortality entirely for the sake of the ship, and they were ready to abandon it to save their own skins.
So their death does indeed have effect. Kobayashi is no longer obligated to order Nagate to sortie every battle (and you'll notice she does in fact start holding him back) and she has full control over remaining immortal council members.
She's taken the ship fully into her control, and I have a feeling that will come into play in the manga very soon.
>who forced the captain the make Tanikaze sortie every battle.
He does that anyway though even though they aren't there. If he isn't sent out straight away something goes wrong and he has to join
>They also had their own little escape pod set up during the whole asteroid
And that effected anything? No, no it didn't
> and she has full control over remaining immortal council members.
And we barely even she her do shit anyway, and most stuff looked like it just came from her anyway. there is no change
>I have a feeling that will come into play in the manga very soon.
I-i-t is totally going to effect stuff after about 50 chapters guys!
I think that's why they were a problem. They were given their immortality to serve the ship, and all they do is sit there brooding over how best to hold onto their control and how best to keep their lives.
They were a bunch of cowards and bureaucrats. Kobayashi is really not the better alternative, being the cold, aggressive warmonger that she is, but it's hard to feel any sympathy for the Immortal Pod People Committee.
Yes, i don't want to get wet. Thought i wouldn't mind getting her wet.
>Implying you wouldn't anyways
Of course. Tired, weary Kobayashi is best captain after tomboy operator captain.
>Tsumugi finds out about Nagate and the Captain
>Fails to recover and dies
>Nagate emotionally devastated
>Captain feels guilt for not only ruining their growing relationship, but more importantly taking two of Sidonia's best fighters out of action.
>New suffering faces for Izana
Rev up those tears.
You have an interesting concept of triangles.
>Well... um... could you hug me really tight?
First time in my life capeshit got my attention
Started late, so still working on it. At around 11 minutes or so now.
>those heavy industries
>New suffering faces for Izana
aunahave to buy some more lube.
