Anyone know of any parallels similar to this?
He means something like this, when you realize that the same voice actor did more one favorite or overall notable character from different shows.
I mean sure, I guess it would be their job to do voice acting, but it's still fun to look them up and see just how many different voices a talented actor can do.
Also Takeshi Nakazato from Initial D.
Viral and Adult Link have the same voice actor. When Viral becomes a green beam and goes with Simon in the trap universe he makes a very Link-esque grunt.
Here it is.
Madoka and Iris from Pokemon have the same VA. That red cat thing from Yo-kai Watch has the same voice as Piplup and Mirmo.
>Even without the events of 40 years ago, I think man would still be a creature that fears the dark. He doesn't face that fear, he averts his eyes from it and acts as if he never had any memories of his history. But, 40 years can be both a brief time and yet, a long time. Man's fear has withered. And even time tries to wither the desire to know the truth. Is it a crime to try and learn the truth? Is it a sin to search for those things which you fear. My purpose in this world is knowledge, and the dissemination of it. And it is I who is to restore the fruits of my labors to the entire world. Fear... It is something vital to us puny creatures. The instant man stop fearing is the instant the species will reach a dead end, only to sink to pitiable lows, only to sit and wait apathetically for extinction. Wake up! Don't be afraid of knowledge! Humans who lose the capacity to think become creatures whose existence has no value. Think, you humans who are split into two worlds, unless you want the gulf between humans to expand into oblivion, you must think!
I forgot just how quality early JoJo was until I looked at that scene again
Sugita is also Ultraman. And Ultraman's archnemesis.
A guy with zero range coulnd't imitate Wakamoto, Ishizuka Unshou, Morikubo Shoutaro, Furuya Tooru and Ikeda Shuuichi, to mention few.
People miss over half of Sugita's awesomeness if they never listen to web radios or watch seiyuu events.
Also, you can recognize practically anyone from their very first words on a show if you're familiar enough with the person and when that happens with enough people, having "range" loses it's meaning.
He does. He just has a similar problem as Steve Blum where when he gets hired it's usually for THE voice, but he's had his share of "wait, that's fucking Hiyama?" roles.
And another example of "cute voice VA doing badass gangsta".
>mfw my favorite girl from the porn game Doukyuusei usually voices furries.
All voiced by Aoi Yuuki.
She sure used to have a lot of loli roles earlier in her career.
Ume from Ben-To
Lucy from Servant x Service.
Can't get over that.
I could't blame you. Aoi has a huge vocal range after all.
And Kanade from Symphogear is Moomintroll.(Takayama Minami)
And Big Boss is Moominpappa.(Akio Ootsuka)
This is another good one.
Krul Tepes from Seraph of the End.
