>Danmachi animated at +900p.
>Shokugeki no Souma in full HD.
Where were you when JC Staff saved anime?
I'm actually quite surprised. Since the last two years, they've been putting decent adaptations and even Wixoss was fairly decent. Especially considering their early decade slump. I'm looking forward for Shimometa next season.
This will cost them and I know they won't recover the costs from BDs, DVDs etc merch.
I would buy lots if I actually wanted to have a BD collection which one day I might but right now it would be a very expensive hobby.
Yeah, I went from not watching something because JC staff made it to looking forward to their next show.
I think they stopped sucking somewhere around or before little busters.
There's plenty of food. The manga is probably the most /ack/ thing I've ever seen.
This should be the more appropriate image
>No it's not.
Fuck off, you pretentious fuck.
>I don't like it
>Therefore it is bad. They should make it what I like instead.
Wah wah wah.
It is fine how it is, it hasn't changed what it is from the start.
Just changing it your favourite manga genre instead would be retarded.
You don't read the manga I guess. Before the tournament it did a good job on the characters and their interactions. The cooking and the characters were balanced. Then when the tournament comes in the balance is shifted and it's just about the food for about 20 chapters.
I don't think the cooking part is bad, but I think it was the characters focus before hand and during that made them fun. Like how Megumi progressed as a shitter to a very good cook with her own country style.
that is very helpful, at first I was thrown out because is in japanese but thanks to a blog post I understood how it works.
I am also quite disappointed, the EVA movies are 720p, why? Would be funny if the EVA BDs are actually full HD.
I wonder why bothering with tens of Gb of space with a bluray when you fill it with nothing, how wasteful.
Resolution is not everything. Even if the animation resolution isn't full HD or even HD, the superior bitrate offered by BDs still means that they probably look better than their DVD counterparts.
>Some chemical explanations about flavors
>Delicious foodgasms (ecchi)
>You can actually try making the dishes
This shit has everything
I loved it when foodgasms went from the usual exploding clothes shit to the next level entirely.
>JC Staff suddenly the gods of animation
What the fuck is this and when did it happen? I was expecting Danmachi and SnS to look cheap as fuck, instead its all HD and sakuga.
Animation is not the same as resolution.
The gods of TV show resolution are still KyoAni, but they refuse to up the resolution, probably because they feel secure with their reputation.
JC Staff probably just spent a good chunk of money on good hardware, making 1080p easier.
Basic logic tells me that higher resolutions require bigger canvases to work with, i.e., more detailed drawings. This implies that producing a show would take more time than usual and also, more talented animators.
Scanner I understand, but since modern animation is digital, it shouldn't change much in ways as films would. Sakuga would still be sakuga by hand and tablets does not correlate to resolution per se, unless having a Cintiq of hi-res is absolutely necessary?
They did pretty damn well by WCW too.
