What do you expect to be anime of the year ?
Fuck what you think.
This is will be the anime of the fucking year.
I wonder if we'll get to see the Boros arc in the anime. Is it confirmed wether its 1 cour or 2 cour?
I'm pretty fucking excited for that show.
The shows MADHOUSE usually fucks up are the ones where they sail past the source material and make a shitty fucking ending. See: Claymore.
It's a gag manga. Give it a try.
Parasyte was pretty much 100% faithful to the manga, which is what I was really looking for.
The only things they really changed were small aesthetic things that really did not matter.
Gatchaman Crowds is probably one of my favorite anime, I'm hype as shit for insight.
>What's the conflict if he can just beat everyone with one punch?
That is the conflict.
> It will be very difficult to live up to God-Murata though.
This is the problem with people's expectations for the One Punce Man anime. They want more Murata, but they're getting Shingo Natsume and Chikashi Kubota. They're great, but their approach, artistically, to OPM is clearly going to be different to Murata. I don't know how many people will be willing to accept that.
Studios are mostly just names, the staff are who you should be paying attention to.
What do you mean? How do you know about the budget?
That still would give us the Speed of Sound Sonic and Genos fights, though.
I didn't really spot any animation errors. I didn't look at frame-by-frame breakdown of the animation to analyze the smears and whatnot, but it seemed pretty competent.
It won't be as good as ONE's, or Murata's version. It's an animated adaptation, the rule is that shit gets changed for the worse, the animation is crude and limited by budget, and in this digital age the coloring will be dull and desaturated.
ONE's writing doesn't need God-tier art to make a God-tier story.
but it certainly doesn't hurt
it had a fair amount of badly drawn characters, DBZ-esque "lets stand here, swing like crazy and repeat these three frames over and over again" - fights, generally just lacking animation (for "madhouse standards"), and horrible 3D.
It was not a high quality production by any means.
Actually, now that you mention it, the 3D characters they used in backgrounds were sometimes a little poorly done, relative to the rest of it.
