I'm honestly grateful that we got so many seasons and they were all funny.

I think a remake (or at the very least a renewal or a port) for the games and a short OVA series would be the best thing Broccoli could do if they would do something. GA did have its time in the spotlight, I don't think anything could bring it back to that level again.

I finished the 1st season but then my hdd died and real life shit came up. I tried to re download the bd of the first season but the torrent was dead or had one seed on nyaa. It's not hard at all. By simplified, since the game is on PS2 controls they mapped the everything to the Circle button. Click on a fighter and hit an enemy to order an attack, click an ally to follow or heal if you have the healer select, and click on the flagship to resupply. You could also go first person and strafe down enemy ship's guns but when you're replaying it the 5th time, you just let focus firing deal with it.

While I honestly never used the hold commands or guard ones, it feels a lot easier.

That was my first anime outside of the Cartoon Network DBZ/Gundam Wing craze. Oddly enough my local library carried the manga, and my brother checked it out, and then I read in secret when I was maybe 13. Found out it had an anime when looking shit up about the girls, and it was the first thing I sat down and watched through. On Youtube, no less, "Episode 1 part 1 of 3", shit like that. It was great.

If the ships weren't such a bore to use, I'd think some of the missions would be less bland. But at least the first game had SOME mission variety and somewhat varied maps.

MK was the weakest which was sad because it had the most entertaining villains.

ZR and EK felt pretty bland with the whole, starter villain for 1st half, move on to the main villain for 2nd half thing with half-assed build up. Not sure if actually being able to read and understand all the text would've helped with that problem.
