This anime is full of great scenes and lines that can give you excellent advice on life, work, dream, success and failure, or even social relationship. Thank you so much for everything. Too bad there are only 2 episodes left now. Welcome to Shirobako thread, we're waiting for episode 23 coming in about 21 hours

the best part about the show is how everyone is realistically balanced between competence and flaws. Shizuka's meme-failure is just due to the high risk nature of the business she went into; the show is obviously setting her up for a karmic payoff.
>>
Reminder that Zuka is a failure who wastes her life drinking because she doesn't have enough talent to break into the industry.
>>
>>122695985
She's going to get a minor role in 23 or 24. Then a major role in either movie or S2.

What am I supposed to do after Shirobako is over?

Some of the best things about the show are little scenes, like Diesel making up stories about passengers on the train, or Oi-chan singing the Andes Chucku Op in the car as she does last-minute pickups. The little details are what make the show seem so real.

I hope you know that's it's extremely dramatized and nowhere near real life.

I personally watched Tari Tari on shitty MP4 format.
Plan on watching the BDs after Shirobako ends.

Shirobako is the best selling show of the last 4 seasons, tells you about how shit the past year was
>>
>>122697018
You don't have data for all the shows so that's jumping the gun. FSN has assuredly outsold it.

And pretty sure Love Live S2 was not four seasons ago as I saw a bunch of its volumes topping on amazon charts not long ago.

Why are the animators still drawing on paper in the show? I thought all animating and drawing was digital now? The only people doing digital were the coloring, filming and CG guy. Don't normal anime studios draw on tablets, not paper? If that's not the case, why does /a/ keep saying everyone animated everything digital now?
>>
>>122697893
Anime is still drawn on paper. When people say anime is produced digitally, they mean it's no longer filmed.

>>
>>122697893
Drawn on paper and then scanned.

The problem with using tablets for the actual animating is that it's more difficult and slower to check reference points. When you have a stack of papers it's easy to flip back to the previous one to double check a minor detail as you're drawing the next frame, and frequently referencing previous frames is essential to the process of animation if you want things to remain consistent and flow properly. Doing that on a computer just isn't as fast.

The digital aspects of the show involve the filming, colouring, editing and etc.
>>
>>122699079
You only learned that from watching Shirobako?

True, but at least school is mandatory in many countries, I think.
>>
>>122699258
You can do the exact same thing with a computer though, just go back to the frame before and flip between the frames or simply play the animation. Wich is actually a big plus, because you certainly can't flip through 5 seconds of animation with the in-between included, you would need to waste time filming it before being able to watch it. With a computer you can do this at any moment.

The reason why japanese studios don't use tablets have more to do with the fact that it would mean investing in tablets and animation software and good computers than flipping.
Having everyone draw on paper and only use a few computers for coloring and filming is much cheaper.

>>

Anime is paper lineart that is scanned.
Digital refers to digipaint and digital filming.

I think only the Yozakura Quartet reboot was done on tablets

buy the fucking blu rays for once so you get a second season or at least an OVA!

you see, in Japan, more blu ray sales equals season 2 or an OVA.
you're lucky if you can get a shirobako spinoff... like Exodus and that all girls air squad.
