Let's have a thread.
How do you think it's going to end?
How do you cope with the fact that Mitsuko will never rape and eat you?
The next episode will be the school going into martial law as controlled by the invisible storm, complete with armbands for everyone. Meanwhile Lulu and Kureha will talk about the truth and what they think, while figuring out that Yuriika send the letter and manipulated them. Ginko will show up at the end and leave with a cliffhanger as she attacks one of the girls who is protected by the other.
Episode 11 they'll bring Ginko back, and the next episode and a half until the end it's them versus the invisible storm, trying to change the entire system. It ends with the Severance Barrier breaking down somehow with the Judgemens falling from the sky saying "Shabadadu", "Shiny shine", and "How cool".
What's in the music box?
On an even number of boxes, which one is the very middle?
Well considering the book ended at the standoff at the mirror/wall, what happens next would be pretty surprising since you never knew past the mirror/wall for the longest time
Are you trying to start something here?
Will you give me the promised mouse pad anon?
She did nothing wrong until this.
Dude, Kureha has been caring for people throughout the series. She's a little awkward with expressing herself, but not heartless.
It's just people keep fucking her over is why we usually see her being distrustful and standoffish most of the time.
No sexually assertive A. Yuki voiced character to take the lead.
Why even hunt anymore?
It's yuri AND a show that requires actually paying attention when you watch. Of course it would flop.
Yuri doesn't sell in the anime industry and cerebral entertainment doesn't sell anywhere.
Not to sound like a newfag but can anyone can anyone tell me how to interpret this?
Cause if my interpretation are correct, Yuri Kuma is actually having a good sale
>How do you think it's going to end?
Kureha will become new leader of invisible storm
We will get shot of Lulu being part of class now, after Kureha commands "let's search the evil"
The ranks changes every 6 hours, sex sells highly, and if pixiv is to be believed, it appears like Yuri Kuma is well accepted by the Japs
Guess I'll just wait till the real numbers show up before we discuss this. Stalker points rarely matches the BD sales anyway
ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL
>plots for years to eat her friend's daughter
>gives up everything to the court to make this possible
>acts as puppet-master of the entire rest of the cast
>all for one moment
>gets shot by a random student
Yuriika, are you even trying?
Is it too much to ask for just straight cerebral entertainment without some pandering angle and some weird creepy frankly overrated as fuck directors mental masturbation and inability to be coherent getting in the way of everything anymore? I doubt it would make for any more profitable anime but at least it would make for some more palatable stuff.
Is this your first Ikuhara show? What you're complaining about is exactly what people expect and enjoy in Ikuhara's works.
If you want straight cerebral entertainment, look elsewhere. There's a lot of anime out there.
No I saw Mawaru Penguin Drum and quite a bit of Utena at an anime club back in the day. Never liked either much nor saw the apparently ingenious usage of themes and ideas. I guess I'm just not into the weird creepy fringe stuff and have a certain limit when it comes to anime where something crosses over from being stimulating to just kind of laughable and looking like somebody is just kind of desperate for attention and recognition of some kind. He honestly reminds me a ton of Shinbo who he supposedly influenced except somehow even weirder and creepier.
Then you should realize that maybe Ikuhara's style isn't for you. Many others, myself included, like the content he creates and how he tells a story.
Your shallow criticism is not welcome.
For some reason this scene really surprised me.
>Yuri doesn't sell in the anime industry
If only someone produces a moe show that becomes really popular thus having high initial sales, and then BAM reveal that the MC characters are really lesbian to each other
If those drop in the long run, then we'll truly know
It started as a straight cute girls doing cute things, got themselves a male love interest, got on a hiatus that made the fans believe it will be a het, ended in yuri.
Sales were not affected.
Presented itself as a classS and straight girls in a close relationship. Ended in yuri. 10k sales and novel is ongoing
Started as a het show that became a yuri in the movie. Rendered a classic with a good amount of VHS sales and BD release still sold 5K despite being old as fuck
People saying yuri does not sell are retards
I forgot MaiHime
It started as an ordinary female battle shounen with male love interests but the second arc revealed that most of them are actually lesbians
Do most of you seriously believe that these guys represent "patriarchy" or "the male gaze"
There are 2 possibilities
>they are Ikuhara's self-inserts and they represent his 3 artistic sides that goes into conflicts whenever he decides to create something
>they represent the Id, Ego, and Superego of every female character who cannot decide whether or not to succumb to their forbidden desires
>they are Kumalia's representatives whose sole purpose is to watch over and report
There are obviously some Tumblr users on /a/ but I'd have expected them to be the kind that are hated by 90% of the people who come across their posts and just use it as a platform to post pictures and talk about stuff without absorbing their dumb community
But in a thread yesterday I read multiple defensive responses to a post saying AnimeNewsNetwork is retarded for making that point and now I don't know anymore
