(Spoilers only so far, no chapter or images yet.)
The "Kasumi's World" Arc, part-1. It seems the purpose of Kasumi's chihuahua pinata was to brainwash Honoka and 'trap her in Kasumi's world', although whether this literally means an alternate dimension of sorts they got sucked into due to pinata accident or whether it altered the Real World I don't know. As a result, Honoka becomes Kasumi's "ideal brother". However, the brainwashing doesn't even last the one day and he returns to normal himself. At the same time, however, Ayaka, who baits and uses the Team Llama-Star, is able to catch on to Kasumi's wicked scheme pretty quickly. Though she was initially rejoicing over her ideal world coming to pass, Kasumi is suddenly jailed out of nowhere. Apparently, Natsume cooperated with Kasumi in creating 'her world', but her intentions in helpign her are a mystery. Honoka teams up with Natsume to rescue her. Ayaka finds out about Natsume's involvement in the whole thing from Atori and sets out to track her/(them(?)) down. Meanwhile, Kasumi is totally drained from activating the pinata, and Macaroon has reverted to just being a plushy, so she's helpless and cornered. Tanpopo has been brought along by the spell into Kasumi's World as well, where the magic has "evolved her pokemon style" into some kind of "real cat-thing". The Star-trio weren't taken because in Kasumi's eyes they're so trivial they may as well not even exist. Either Timpopes thinks, it comes up otherwise, that because Kasumi always fucks up towards the end of otherwise 'perfect'plans, they fall apart.
Some huge crisis that might have repercusions on the 'real' world is looming, so Natsume (who knows of it) takes Hono-kyun and heads for the center of the city. Kazane knows as well, so she "asks" Chronoir to go in and investigate Kasumi's World, and 3Black6 very reluctantly agrees. There's something I didn't get without the chapter itself about how they enter/use Chronoir's "Noose" barrier (the aquarium thing) because "time flows differently in there", and because 1-day in Kasumi's World is only a few hours in real-world time (so time flows differently in there too. In next month's chapter, the middle-piece of the Kasumi's World Arc, the main character and focus will be Mama-san KOMACHI! ((answers at last, I hope)). TanuTanu's been turned into a 'machine that praises and compliments older brother-little sister relationships.
So yeah, sounds like we're (maybe) finally getting back on track for magic, mayhem, and plot.
>kasumi's wonderful world shows exactly what she thinks Tanpopo's place is in it
There's something I didn't get without the chapter itself about how they enter/use Chronoir's "Noose" barrier (the aquarium thing) because "time flows differently in there", and because 1-day in Kasumi's World is only a few hours in real-world time (so time flows differently in there too.
From the author's notes a long time ago,
The "aquarium barrier" is a localised AOE buff that sets up 3B6 in giving her minor reality bending powers while inside the field. Note that the only time she used the dangerous time-magic was when she was in that field, she probably wouldn't have ever dared to try otherwise. And as a part of the author's notes, the use of the barrier consumes the use of a very expensive gemstone. And that is why 3B6 is reluctant to use it unless she really had to. She used it exactly twice until now, once against Ayaka on the bus and once against Weekend. 3B6 is probably annoyed that Weekend was so weak it probably wasn't worth the financial costs of using up a gem.
I more meant why they would need the Noose to enter Kasumi's World and how that transition works without seeing the explanation in the chapter. But it does also explain why Chronoir was reluctant to do it for Kazane again, besides the obvious.

Well consider that it gives her limited reality bending powers, that in itself should give her some capacity to invade other people's own pocket universes.
but the lack of raws makes for a sad tanpopo.
We may get them tomorrow or later on in the day. They were usually a day late before.
Luckily I'm free nearly the entire day tomorrow and the day after, so I can see them as soon as some brave anon finds them.
Oh god what has become of me
>Oh god what has become of me
You don't have enough Tanpopo in your veins.
Try as I might, I can't seem to fix it.
Even with all this Tanpopo.
I want to see more of their silly interactions. I can't wait for more witchy activity, especially if the plot starts chuggin along again
>I want to see more of their silly interactions. I can't wait for more witchy activity, especially if the plot starts chuggin along again
Natsume is an interesting addition. She is effectively a new faction for the purpose of the story. And I do like that 3B6 has been re-introduced. The fact that she was reluctant to help suggest that she didn't see Honoka's disappearance as a serious problem; logically you would think she might have been worried if Honoka vanished and is never seen again, as her plans would have fallen apart. I guess that might be another reason why she did end up helping, in that even though she is happy to wait passively, she at least need Honoka to stay safe and sound until the seals break.
A dead Honoka does this story no good. Even 3B6 knows that. I want to see her plot relevant again, she's too good a character to stay in the background all this time.
I wonder if Kasumi is gonna get the boot from the workshop after this, though.
>I wonder if Kasumi is gonna get the boot from the workshop after this, though.
Only if Kazane report her. And you KNOW Kazane NEVER report to the Germany Workshop HQ. For ANYTHING.
Keep in mind that Kazane is older than the Workshop, and as such really doesn't respect their rules. I mean she has effectively hired 3B6, a Tower Witch (and an old friend of hers), to investigate Kasumi, is almost certainly a break of protocol.
this series has produced some pretty great doujins i must say
Ah yes, the return of the WCW (from all of a one month break). I wish the author would focus only on Witches and not on...whatever the other work she's doing ends up being about.
Wonder if how Honoka interacts with this other realm will reveal more about his unique status as a bucket for the white stuff.
Chapter 27 exactly, minus the last 5 or 6 pages. So just look at the end of 27 (Ayaka actually got hospitalized for a while after the Weekend fight as opposed to the anime where she just gets up and the last few minutes of the anime were a goofy insert), and then continue reading from 28 on.
Some spoiler pics.
This month's cosplay is miko Ayakacchi
Kasumi's World is full of luxurious deserts, bears and bear imagery everywhere (sort of like Hono-kyun's penguin town after the contract), allows open hand-holding lewdness where no one cares how doting onii-chan's are (and they are here), has their shoe lockers together and their together alone at the front of their shared classs, etc.
>more proof Kasumi cares about timpopes albeit having a low idea of where she belongs if you notice it
Kasumi's world turns against her? The reader who posted his blog/thoughts commented it was the first time we've seen Honoka actually get angry at Kasumi, and that he thought they had a much more natural brother/sister feel without Ayaka around. At least Kasumi isn't alone in her cell (being Tanutanu is suffering)
"We have to stop it from (absorbing/consuming) us! Before we're all erased together with this world!"
>that look of despair in Kasumi's eyes
Next time she won't fuck up hopefully.
>"We have to stop it from (absorbing/consuming) us! Before we're all erased together with this world!"
Well yeah. It seems Kasumi created a pocket universe. And clearly if you are insider a universe when it is destroyed, you die with it. Kasumi doesn't seem to understand how her creation truly worked, so that is a warning sign that she probably doesn't know how to sustain it very long.
Well, you can't just take what Kasumi has done lightly. Whether she meant well or not, she may have used some sort of forbidden or restricted magic in order to get her pocket dimension happening, not to mention dragged a few people unwillingly, not just Honoka. On top of that, she brainwashed him. He's bound to be pissed, even if he usually lets her get away with murder.
Kasumi's schemes and her obsession with her brother are getting way out of hand. On top of this, a crisis seems to be developing in the regular world, possibly caused by her or her actions.
Kazane may not give a damn, but I can see Ayaka getting reaaally pissed with her sister-in-law.
And if mama Komachi is getting involved next week, that can only be a Bad Thing for Kasumi-chan.
Cock goes where...on second thought, not in there if you want it back.
Our favorite wani-witch is back, with a slightly new design on her uniform, and a brand new, spiffy, Wand of Casting. Also, is that SEBAS? If so, he looks a bit more menacing then earlier.
Anyone else gets the feeling that, despite her denials, Natsume may actually be lusting for the HonokaD? I mean, sure, her mom put her on this course of action, but maybe she's either brainwashed enough or emotionally taken back by Honoka to now be willing to be near him at all costs. Of course, she can't just come out and say it since she knows Ayaka would incinerate her in a matter of seconds, so maybe she's just biding her time?
>Anyone else gets the feeling that, despite her denials, Natsume may actually be lusting for the HonokaD?
Well we know Natsume LOOKS too normal to be a witch, so that just means we haven't seen her insane side yet.
> yfw Natsume secretly out-yanderes both Ayaka and Kasumi
I don't think so myself. We already know Natsume has, to a lesser degree, to her Uncle Mikage-sensei what Kasumi has towards Honoka. I think everything she does towards him is because she wants to help and/or please her uncle.
I thought so initially until I heard the actual story from Mama Shiori. She's been brainwashing them both over the years, not just Mikage-sensei.
I suspect what she feels for her uncle is not an uncle complex but more of a shared victim's respect. She knows he's emotionally damaged thanks to what her mom did and is trying to make amends for it.
But really, if you look at her entire behavior and how willing she was to go along with her mom's twisted antics at the coffee shop, and then couple it with her obsessive need to tail Honoka (Ayaka is confirmed to be an incidental target since she was there with Honoka when he got pulled somehow), so maybe it's more than just duty that keeps her around?
A good question at this point (unless she explains it in the chapter, but it seems way too packed for that as is) is how she knew about Kasumi'sworld so quickly, and how she got in. Unless it's her uncle working to watch over Hono-kyun again.
Well, her uncle seems to be one of those sliders, so mabye she can slip into and out of other dimensions too? This doesn't imply she can change things tbere, which is whu they need crocowitch.
If Komachi is some superpowered witch I don't think we'll see that till very near the end... she may even be final-boss tier. Least I hope so.
Looks pretty deviantartish to me.
Plus a good chunk of the pose was traced straight from the manga, the right hand is twisted too far for the elbows position and the highlights are all wrong.
It's the thought that counts. And thr thought of Kazane swattin the ball right back into Lebron's face is genuinely fantastic.
If I could draw digitally or scan anything I'd love to draw it myself
got dayumn that looks like an h-manga cover
This manga has awoken an amazon fetish in me. I didn't even know I wanted to be overpowered by a beautiful tall woman before
Now I'm sad knowing it may never happen, women taller than me are uncommon at best ;_;
So, a couple of interesting new spoilers.
1-Apparently, although Mama-san is in Kasumi's World, she's still not around in the house because "the Takamiya-sans' dad came home from where he usually is, a job posting overseas, and he and Komachi are on a new/late-life honeymoon".
2-Natsume helped Kasumi create her world-spell. (And apparently loves melon bread, since her lunch with the Takamiya-siblings is 5 loaves of it).
3-Most importantly, here's a better spoiler image of 3Black6 being recruited. It's on Kazane's request, but the person sent to deliver the message/mission is clearly Weekend! That hair, that shoulder lizard doesn't lie. Goddamit Dumbshoe, she really needs to stop freeing and depending on dangerous criminals for these kinds of things.
The mad bomber is back. Kazane pls
>3-Most importantly, here's a better spoiler image of 3Black6 being recruited. It's on Kazane's request, but the person sent to deliver the message/mission is clearly Weekend! At this point we can basically say Kazane has zero respect for the Workshop and basically ignore Tower/Workshop segregation. And Germany can do nothing about it.
There's no way another seal isn't going before this arc is over. Also, it's the first arc since weekend to feature a "chapter title: part 1, part 2..." etc. This seems to be something Mizunagi does with important arcs. If Medusa shows up, then all 3 of the End Witches who want the white stuff will be along in Kasumi's world with Honoka, with NO Ayaka (yet). But Komachi IS there, and next chapter's supposed to focus on here as the main.
The chapters for this come out so slow and only like 20 pages per chapter which is what i expect from weekly series.
Can't even remember the names of the other girls with tanpopo
who the fuck is 3B6?
Well, this one seems to be a bumper issue, so hopefully more than 20 pages this time.
Mizunagi-sensei has also been working on a new series for soon-to-be-published Shonen Magazine R, Ivory Dark >>122253926 .
I'm assuming that's what's been taking most of her time recently.
3B6 is Chronoir.
Chronoir Schwartz VI
It's one of those Japanese plays on words.
Kuro (black in japanese)-noir (black in french) Schwartz (black in german) the sixth.
Hence her fan nickname of 3Black6
Part of me thinks if 3B6 eats Weekend, Kazane wouldn't care. Kazane had got all the info she thinks she need, and if Weekend gets eaten now it would just be convenient more than anything.
I guess I am just an evil person. Kazane Isn't like that, she is a big softy.
No, I think (in a twisted sort of way), it makes sense.
Keep in mind that her doll familiar is rekd so she can't send it on errands until she remakes it. And since she's reaching out to a powerful tower witch, the last thing she wants is to involve anyone from the workshop and see what kind of shady shit she's up to. I doubt they want to alert Germany HQ that one of her city guardian (apprentice) witches has done something unbelievably criminal, so the best course of action is to use another criminal to make contact instead.
Kasumi may be in some really...really big trouble. if the witch association doesn't get it Ayaka definitely will This doesn't seem like something that can be fixed with a simple beating.
>Kasumi may be in some really...really big trouble. if the witch association doesn't get it Ayaka definitely will This doesn't seem like something that can be fixed with a simple beating.
Her saving grace is that Natsume would be there to share the blame. Natsume's family might end up covering up the whole affair because they wanted to protect their future heiress. That assumes Natsume's mum wasn't the original true mastermind of all this already...
New theory; Natsume's mum told her daughter to help Kasumi, in order to cause a political scandal that would weaken Kazane in the organisation. And she told her daughter to get into the dream world in order to make sure Honoka actually survives, because she doesn't actually want him hurt or killed in the process.
This works on two levels; the mum want Ayaka and Kazane gone, and she also want Honoka to marry her daughter. I am assuming she doesn't give a damn about Evermillion, and all she wants is to get her daughter set up with Honoka.
It's hard to believe their leader was introduced dropping a building on the protagonist, stabbing someone seemingly to death and trying to behead an innocent (as far as he knew) human. How times have changed. Then again, Tower witches are chaos incarnate, but workshop witches aren't that much better,Their just slightly better at hiding their crazy.
I think more than anything, they're competent but waaaay out of their depth.
Aw, Tanpopo's tired. Hopefully tomorrow we get our hands on dem raws. I'll see all ya'll anons tomorrow, either in this thread if it's still up or the next one.
Did takamiya-kun and the translator give up on kill wizard?
