I honestly just don't see how else it could have ended aside from "everyone dies" or it getting more episodes, I'm pretty sure the writers were backed into the same corner.
Not that the ending was bad it's jus rather unfulfilling, everything is basically back to square one, the old girls just got cured and they got a bit stronger because of an app update but no progress what so ever was made in the grand scheme of things, not that the anime needed that but going somewhere would have been nice.

Oh well, that's only for the first day. It's not even 1 week since the game was on sale, and it seems like the limited editions are all sold out at least so things are still good.
This Thursday, there'll be an update patch for the game. They call it ver 1.01 so I expect there'll more in the future.
