Is Kara no Kyoukai Part 6 the greatest anime movie ever made?

It has the least amount of Shiki, so no.

Study in Murder 1 and 2 are the best overall, but I loved Paradox Spiral for the atmosphere and the special way of directing that was used in it.

Maybe they wanted to have a great audience at the start because thanathos gives the best total impression of the series.

EoE's plot makes sense enough, and the ending is probably one of the most powerful scenes in anime -- the silence, the desolation, and that controversial closing line. In just five minutes, it manages to completely change everything that came before it.

And there's a lot more to a film than plot. The visuals, music, and overall direction are peerless. It doesn't just do one thing really well, it does everything really well.

If Seele believes that the existence of humanity was a fluke and that the Angels were the true successors of the Earth, why would they fund a program that fights the angels?

If the Angels knew Seele were helping NERV to fight and kill them, why would they cooperate with Seele and send Kaworu, the 17th Angel, into NERV headquarters and merge with Lillith?

1. They had their own agenda. They didn't wanted to eradicate humanity, they wanted to control it.

2. Angels didn't send Kaworu. Kaworu was 'Seele's Rei'.
>>
>>121793024
>If Seele believes that the existence of humanity was a fluke and that the Angels were the true successors of the Earth, why would they fund a program that fights the angels?

Who says they believe this?

>If the Angels knew Seele were helping NERV to fight and kill them, why would they cooperate with Seele and send Kaworu, the 17th Angel, into NERV headquarters and merge with Lillith?

the angels don't coordinate, they have difficulty understanding the concept
>>
>>121793132
Yes, I liked 4 for the same reasons too. It might not had moments as high as the other movies but it didn't drag on and stayed good from start to finish.

Rewatch 7. It's one of the best movies.
>>
>>121793024
>If Seele believes that the existence of humanity was a fluke and that the Angels were the true successors of the Earth, why would they fund a program that fights the angels?
People lie.
Seele's goal always was becoming gods of Humanity.

>If the Angels knew Seele were helping NERV to fight and kill them, why would they cooperate with Seele and send Kaworu, the 17th Angel, into NERV headquarters and merge with Lillith?
Because Seele are the guys who rule the world from the darkness.
Think Illuminati.

SEELE was an insane cult obsessed with ascending to a higher state of existence through the "prophecy" written in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Everything they did was to achieve that goal aka Instrumentality.

The Angels weren't cooperating as far as I'm aware, and if they were, then they still wouldn't know what SEELE was up to. That was the point of them trying to invade the pilots' minds toward the end of the series -- they were trying to develop a better understanding of their enemy.

Kaworu thought that NERV had Adam, not Lilith. He explicitly announces that he was misled by SEELE in his episode.

tl;dr: you're a big noob babby who needs to pay more attention, and you should feel profound shame for not only linking a youtube review, but one that according to your examples is factually wrong.
>>
>>121793203
>>121793210
>>121793249
>>121793357
Notice the variety in explanations. There's no clear-cut answer, those are just interpretations.

That's not all either:

If all that had to be done was for Kaworu to merge with Lilith, why did it take so long for this plan to be enacted?

If they knew this plan was going to fail because the prophetic writings of the Dead Sea Scrolls didn't fortell any of this, why did they go through with it anyway and risk showing their hand to NERV?

If the alleged leader of Seele, Keel Lorenz, knew about Gendou's treachery before, why were they still cooperating?

If the Angels are just another form of humanity, why would Seele think humanity is a mistake when it's just as likely that the other Angels were the mistake?

Who threw the Lance into the head of Eva 02? All the enemy units had been disabled.
>>
>>121793665
There's no variety in the SEELE explanations. They're all saying the same thing.

The Kaworu explanations aren't all the same, but there are shared ideas among them and they all fit together. And it's literally an objective fact that Kaworu believed Adam was in Terminal Dogma, not Lilith. It's not "just interpretations."

It's clear that you and/or the reviewer missed "plot holes" that were outright explained in the show, and this should make you stop and question everything you're saying. Instead of insisting that you be spoonfed answers, you should go back and actually watch the show that you're talking about. Think for yourself.

You know you've come across an elitist mong when you see a post like this.

How is your point of view any clearer when you haven't even highlighted examples that prove me wrong? I've seen the show more than enough times, and as far as I can tell, these are clear plot holes, and you're just using your own interpretations as an argument, as opposed to fact.

Provide evidence that SEELE's motivations and objectives conform with the interpretations of the above posters, otherwise you're nothing but a shitspewer with no real idea.
>>
>>121793665
>Notice the variety in explanations. There's no clear-cut answer, those are just interpretations.
That's because there is a lack of explanation.
A plot hole isn't absence of information, but contradiction of it.

But

That is a good question.

I've pointed out numerous times how the

SEELE says that humanity has reached an evolutionary dead end, and the point of Instrumentality is to exceed that. This is the surface level explanation.

Gendo or Fuyutski says something about them being old men who are afraid of their own mortality. This provides a possible underlying motive to SEELE's ambitions.

SEELE is a shadowy organization with hands in every global power, and they have enough money and influence to fund NERV and the entire EVA project. These are people who are obsessed with power, and on a global scale.

They have Illuminati/cult elements in droves: the eyes, the pyramids, the creepy mantras and the ritual in EoE. They are insane.

You still haven't responded to being objectively wrong about the Kaworu example.

These are all things that you would know from your repeated viewings if you put more effort into understanding and less effort into complaining.
