Look at all this /ss/. Look at it.
Seems more like an explosion than a meteor.
Well. It's been there for a while already. You'd expect it to come up in situations like this.
Shadow of The Colossus time.
Kinda hoped that he'd have dual wielded that with his Sacred Treasure. Oh well. It's sheathe was destroyed anyway, so I guess it was inevitable for it to get broken too.
Finally, Meliodas' Sacred Treasure! It nags at me that his is the only one that isn't named after a person or other legendary object, but then again, since he lived before the history of the "current" human world, it kinda fits too.
>the most shonen of all authors uses a shonen trope
>everybody flips their shit
For a war machine, it's got a pretty innocent looking face. Diane's golems looked more intimidating, at least in the facial area. I wonder if it's just a difference in taste between Diane and the rest of the giants.
>one side of sword is clean, other is full of notches and has some kind of runes
>those holes in the center
Why do i get the feeling this thing was specifically created to work with both his demon and human sides, probably together?
Which characters would be good in a hypothetical fighting game?
Demon Meliodas (Byzel so that animeonlyfags don't cry) is broken. If anyone picks him in a friendly, you know he's a faggot.
Meliodas. Expect him to have either the Danafor alternate costume or a demonmode alternate costume so that the edgy Korean tierwhore can look fabulous while Nishishing.
>Story boss tier
Hendrickson is solid, but he's very polarizing. He's played by both the broest of bros and the western edgelords.
>Bullet hell tier
King, doesn't see any play because he's super campy although good. If you get within striking distance and Chastiefol is not in the right form, he's fucked. Everyone in the FGC belittle their players as they stroke their dick at the 1000th Demon Mel vs Mel epic match.
>Fan favorite tier
Ban, though he might be a joke character, as well.
>Get picked in the beginning and never see the spotlight again tier
Gilthunder will still be popular in the azn scene for disrespect
Hauser only exists to job.
>That one guy everyone thinks is OP the first 3 days but is actually just easy to master
Arthur, since he lacks special abilities but was given top tier swordsmanship in return
Dreyfus is only picked by literal faggots.
Gowther's boxing would be nerfed into the ground, he's the gimmick character gone wrong.
Hawk if there's to be a joke character.
>Waifufag/gamer gurl's pick tier
Diane is 30 feet tall, just asking to be hit. I can see her ground bending abilities having over a second of startup.
Eli has a cringeworthy moveset that just plain doesn't work and everyone that picks her will drown in whiteknight tears. If picked at any tournament, the opponent will pick his pocket Ban/Gowther for ultimate disrespect, and spergs will throw little paper balls at the Elifag when he breaks down and drops a single stock. Expect Elifag to be dragged out of the venue and shot in the nape, or he mans up and kills himself.
Can it be that oneshot simply happened in the past, with previous incarnation of Elizabeth and other Seven Sins team? Mel looks younger and not as experienced, hell he even nosebleeds when he sees the naked Elizabeth.
>mfw Meliodas has really lived 3000 years without being sealed and all of current sins are incarnation of past friends. That explain his lack of suprise when we discover that Gowther is a doll
He's probably from some royal demonic bloodline and has much higher lifespan than average demons, if not outright immortal. It may be the same for King who is already pretty old for a fairy (they are living up to 1500 years and he's like 1300 already).
Since this thing was made by the Demon Clan, maybe Meliodas can take control of it? He know its weakness so he might know how to control it aswell.
>Ban, though he might be a joke character, as well.
His character would be the easiest of easy mode though, considering that he have infinite health regen, the only way he'll lose a fighting stage is if he get bored and leave. Though that might be a game mechanic, instead of health bar he have interest bar, you have to keep performing combos and new moves to keep Ban interest and stay in the fight.
Also, for a NnT fighting game, I want to see something like a team fighting, like you can choose two or three characters and depending on your combination they'll all have different combo or support attack.
>Meliodas with sacred treasure sitting inside 5500 power level golem and wrecking shit
It is stated in fanbook that he's 1300 years old. The pact was most likely made by his father.
Speaking of that, we haven't seen Dianne use her golem creating ability at all ever since the flashback, a shame, that ability would've been really useful in a lot of fight.
That's pretty tall for a fairy, I'm surprise, I guess everyone around him is just really tall.
Oh hell, I miss that somehow, I thought it was her normal rock pillars. Thank you.
>Seems like she only has two anyway with Fillet and Loin.
Now I want to see more of the Giant Clans, maybe a powerful giant could summon a small group of golems in a fight.
I don't really prefer one design over the other, but I really disliked one-shot Meliodas' character. I'm glad that Nakaba went the way he did with his character in the serialized version. Same with Elizabeth, although I wouldn't have minded her being the bubbly, air headed type (although Hawk would probably suffer a heart attack trying to stop her from getting molested all the time, in that case).
For the record, I got an e-mail that the 2nd DVD/Blu-ray is now shipped.
If some miracle happens, I'll be getting mine in ~8 days.
So that's the earliest you'll be getting decent scans from this end.
Let's hope we get the translations by then though.
Maaya Sakamoto as Merlin? That's great.
Remember how earlier people thought it was Miyukicchi.
Is this a beefed up version of lostvayne wielded by an adult Meliodas?
That was probably a simple sword.
I still hope that Mel met Merlin during the great war and they initially confronted each other only to understand that they are even, becoming
fuckbuddies in a process and trying to end the war.
Nakaba is the one who needs to stop. I don't mind a few scouter jokes early on, but now it's just detracting from the action. There's no need to say "it's 5500!" when he can just show us it's a fuck strong golem.
Vivian is probably an eternal virgin. She's obsessed with guy who will never be interested in her, she lacks any confidence at all and being a mage probably pushes people away from her.
Honestly I agree. It doesn't ruin the moment but certainly dampens it. Pre-powerlevel the likes of Guila (introduction) & Gilthunder seemed strong so there was tension there but if they already revealed back then that their powerlevel was 1000-2000 it'd take the suspense away. Even if you can make it exciting it's unnecessary when taken as a serious plot element. Just keep it to jokes.
Then again I've noticed that one of the criticisms against NnT
from plebsis that they can't really feel how strong the sins are and think they're overpowered (but that's the point, idiots) so maybe that's why Nakaba felt it necessary to introduce this silly system so they keep their mouth shut. Lowest common denominator does need powerlevels to follow along.
Hauser is so entertaining. Will he end up with someone or he's an Alibaba of the series?
>so they keep their mouth shut.
I can't imagine the introduction of a numbered power system ever encouraged people to talk less. But he's such a Toriyamafag, I can't really hold it against him.
What will Ban do to the lustful vampire shota?
He can be quite brutal in him methods sometimes.
He will always be alone, it's more comedic that way.
Oh yeah, this is the battle that Ban stole their strength, it's going to be hilarious.
She recover the memory of him leaving her so I assume she already know that, beside, Gowther's motivation for manipulating emotion is the opposite of King's motivation at that time, Gowther did it so he could learn about human emotion without a care for his subject, King did it so that Diane won't have to feel sad that he left without a care for his own feeling for her.
Ah, you're right, damn. Well, it's not like it'll matter if Gowther really did fuck with her memory again.
Yeah, maybe having Gowther remove King from her memories is a way to make sure this issue won't ever come to play.
That or Nakaba wants more King suffering.
King hears Diane has her memory back, goes to meet her, she literally doesn't even know him. Eventually she remembers again, but gets his shit slapped for being a dick to her memories.
King you'd better come clean about this shit.
By the way, is there any room for speculah on King not being the one to remove her memories? I'm kind of tired of these little skills and abilities that show up once but never get used again. Like the "reading hearts" one.
>Eventually she remembers again, but gets his shit slapped for being a dick to her memories.
King will never stop suffering, will he, well, atleast Diane is still alive, King should be happy about that.
There's no other possibility, King is definitely the one who did.
>these little skills and abilities that show up once but never get used again.
Well, to be fair, the ability to remove someone memory with a single shot of flower is pretty OP. Just imagine King using that against Hendy and completely mindwiping Hendy, then again, that ability might only work on those with weak wills or is unprepare.
>mind reading, memory wiping, ranged physical, AOE, status ailment, barrier, healing in a pinch, flash, ranged elemental (solar beam), fly, telekinesis, teleport (Oslo assist)
I guess he's just one of those characters that can do a bit of everything, though others would outstrip him in their specialties.
He is the Fairy King that stop all the human kings from attacking the fairy forest afterall. Merlin is pretty similar to him in term of versatility aswell, I guess it come with being a magic user in NnT world.
Gowther seem to be deactivated right now, maybe Merlin won't be able to reactivate him for quite a long while.
Does anyone else think that king will revert to his fairy form in front of Diane because of Ban stealing their power. And that is why Diane (and Meliodas) recognized him when Ban didn't back in chapter 20ish?
I wonder why the animu staff skips easy opportunities to generate extra emotions. In the manga page, little Diane notices overjoyed that King is back before he puts her to sleep, whereas in the anime, she's put to sleep without seeing him.
Or this page here. King sheds a single tear when he tells her that her familiar feeling about the name Harlequin is just a dream. The anime just shows a side shot of King and no tear.
It doesn't even cost additional screen time or mad sakuga efforts to do the scenes properly. I don't get it.
I just want to see the Sins actually wearing armor in battle in the main story. You're probably right on them getting it back by the point everyone is reunited, I guess. Hopefully when they fight against the 10 Commandments, they'll be properly equipped.
>both can use wind magic
>Vivian probably can be a very good support for his offensive ability
>both are forever alone
>Hauser's active personality will probably complement Vivian's weak and passive
That actually sounds pretty good.
She's a qt too.
Imagine them both using wind magic combo attack at the same time, calling a storm of the century or some shit.
NnT needs more combos. Imagine Griamor holding Gil and Hauser's co-op special in a tiny confined space.
Shoot, if Mel used Full Counter on King's solar beam they could probably put a hole in Albion.
