This show is great. I was really put off by the first 2 episodes but after finding out about the Blue Hearts covers thing I went to watch the rest of the episodes and it's pretty good.

I am, and I'm not going to say I dislike it, but I wish they worked on the story a little better. The first couple of arcs were a little shaky already, but this last arc was just a mess in terms of how they presented the situation and the characters. It's no wonder a lot of people end up confused.

Still, it's pluses compensate enough that it ends up being enjoyable. It just could be so much better.

I can see how someone would think that. It lacks depth in a lot of ways. I'm enjoying the style, animation, and girls, but if you're looking for something else this shows an easy miss.

agreed it is very pretty however I'm not particularly phased by its lack of depth than i am by its characters. i think a lot of the shows flaws could have been solved by making matcha green the MC and have her fight other provinces for the gems or something. she was a good character but she's just sat in a hospital doing nothing.
I know I'm probably going to sound like more of an idiot by saying this but it needs more action and impact to compliment the art style.

Well I meant character depth as well. And yes Matcha Green sticking around might have been for the better. It might have been a different show entirely though. That action packed madness was fun but what we have now is more relaxing and feels like a more natural progression of the uh, "story." As I said before it really depends on what you're looking for. That said, I feel like this show might have ended up a little too KlK if it was what you're describing but that's just supposition really.

i guess i was just expecting something different from this show but you cant blame people for getting the wrong idea after the first episode being what it was.
i just wanted a fun show with pretty colours some imaginative fight scenes and quirky characters, maybe a bit of hamfisted feels thrown in.
