It's not like tulpas are a bad thing in any sense (that is, unless you do it wrong, believe the ghost stories, and lie to yourself that it's real when it isn't). I mean, this whole process, due to its mental nature, is highly dependent on preconceived notions about tulpas. If you think that tulpas can become these boogeymen that end up yelling at you 24/7 or whatever, then you might cause that to happen. But that's not a tulpa.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying, I can't help but think of the spooky shit, and I'd have a lot of trouble believing it's not real. I have the emotional toughness of a 9 year old girl, I couldn't even get more than hour into Saya no Uta because it scared me so much.

If you just read the old guides, the ones where it takes 100+ hours of hard concentration before the tulpa can actually talk back to you, then you should be fine. Just separate the idea of those spooky stories of just kids playing around and telling fish tales about their fake "tulpas" to others with the idea of real tulpas, which take time, effort, and extended concentration to make.
