Not sure which is the bait here.
Mala > Gesaffelstein > Kode9 > Skream > Sebastian > Thorsten Kanzler > Cassius > Brodinski > Kavinsky > Jon Hopkins > literal shit > Skrillex > Daft Punk > Avicii > My own shitty "serious" music project > my loli/breakcore project > my alias under which I make shitty loli big room house with the Pryda Snare on every tune > anything Martin Garrix related
At least in terms of memorable DJ sets I've seen or heard.
>no amon tobin
>no aphex twin
>knife party not at the bottom of the chart
I haven't listened to or seen any live sets of any of those three.
Kode9 did play a great set back then, once of the best I've ever seen.
The Spaceape was killing it, man.
Until cancer was killing him.
Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You > Everything else Bangalter or Guy Man have been involved with.
>Skream that high
I assume that's from before he became fucking terrible shit.
I loved seeing this with the toonamiaftermath stream every weekend way back in 2011
>mfw it's still alive even though the real toonami is on TV
there's nothing wrong with just a little little fun
>I assume that's from before he became fucking terrible shit.
It was at least 5 years ago, the set was quite good.
Goreshit at least produced the best breakcore release of 2014.
>Machine Girl - WLFGRL
Please stop memeing this album, it really isn't that good.
It feels like a a horrible attempt at making lolicore less abrasive and more accessible.
It's also worse than both wish i was here (or how things went wrong) and that Vsnares album.
You are actually slightly retarded if you think WLFGRL is lolicore in any variety. It is in fact Breakbeat Hardcore and Footwork, one very old genre and one also very old genre but now in it's 3rd phase and someone in a revivallist movement since 2009. The none bandcamp equivalent would be Tessela - Hackney Parrot.
It's actually my AOTY for 2014 by a decent margin.
Most people don't like it because it was spammed which is fine but as an album it did more for fusing an old and new genre together than shit like Zomby - WWUi92 and even actually good albums like Shitmat - One Foot In The Rave and Glowstyx - Class of 92.
Vapour City Archives was surprisingly good after the let down of Vapour City. Best breaksbeats of 2014.
Machine Girl - WLFGRL
Sully - Blue
Manix - Coolin' Down
Calibre - Shelflife Vol. 3
Digital - Robber / Bitter Wind
