We all know about shitty anime adaptations, how about we talk about shows that were far superior to the original material?
Starting with an obvious example.
at least the visual style improved a ton compared to manga.
the manga looked generic bishoujo as all getout but the anime was rather distinct
i dunno how to describe it but the way its drawn and animated seems 'softer' than what you usually see
Death Note is better in its anime version.
Particularly for the less dispersive second half and for a less ridiculous ending.
Not like the manga is shit in comparison, but I'd still recommend the anime over it.
No one watched Usagi Drop for romance between Rin and her "father". That's why it feels fucked up.
Feel free to call people normies because they don't want that shit in their iyashikei series.
the manga killed the innocence of the story after the time skip. i'm not even mad at the ending, but at the second part itself. there shouldn't have been a time skip to begin with.
