When did you realize that most content in anime is unrequited

Years ago

I feel like I have gone through three or four stages of this now after having watched 800 shows or so. Each time I tend to think there's nothing worth watching left and try pick shit up watch a few episodes and drop everything I pick up. Then I begin to lose interest in anime all together for a few weeks to months. Watch some films instead usually. Then I come back to anime by finding that one series that hooks me. Most recently 3000 leagues in search of mother.

But still not low enough to enjoy garbage like generic harems and SAO. You need to have standards.

I don't care.
I don't think I enjoy anything anymore other than music (and even that I nitpick to hell) and not liking things.

I'm 22 now. As day passed, I'm realized I'm can't enjoy anime anymore. I'm really kinda sad that If I'm teenager maybe I can enjoy casual anime like SAO or KLK

Maybe I should give up on chinese cartoon forever.

Just enjoy it for what it is I guess

I've waited for the various definitive releases from groups before getting into some, only to watch one episode then forget about the rest
