Stay Night was a total half-assed war filled with highschoolers because the Grail reset about 50 years too fucking early and they were the only magi available for the Grail to pick from.

Although the Einzberns cheated and produced Ilya & prepared THE STRONGEST HERO for her since they clearly knew that the Grail War would reset itself quite soon after the aborted 4th War since their magic made the damn Grail and they knew how it functioned.

I hate how no one really gets Zero. The character weren't very mature, yet you see people going "MUH MATURE CHARACTERS".
Let me explain:
Kiritsugu was an immature asshole with shit ideals.
Kayneth was a showoff with no experience in actual combat and had a loveless waifu.
Ryuunosuke was just a murderous dumbass.
Tokiomi was Gilgamesh's bitch the whole time, doing jackshit.
Kariya thought that getting himself killed would save worm slut and that her mother would just love him for it.
Kotomine was bored and found out how to have fun.
Waver was the only sensible and most mature of the bunch.
They're all very flawed characters and that's what makes them good characters. But they're definitely not much more mature than a bunch of teenagers that act like teenagers.
